The black plastic on top of the socket.
Make it go 90 degree to the left(pic b)
Lift the black part up and then slide the cable out. Next time read the sticky. Sup Forums isn't your tech support.
Pull the black bar forwards then tip it up.
Give it a strong, firm pull directly to the right
I tried this and a piece of the black snapped off
lol fucked her good buddy
The black tab is pressing down on the ribbon. Just lift it up. It may need to be slided to the right a bit to lift up.
lift this black thing up to the left. It hinges where it touches the white plastic
LOOKING GOOD
lol the first time I saw one of those I just kept tugging and pulling until I just fucking ripped it out
still went back in just fine though so whatever
What did they mean by this??
Nothing meaningful. Legally they have to prove that any damage was caused by the disassembly, which they rarely care to do.
if it's an american product there's probably a light sensor on the board that bricks the processor the moment you open it
oh look another tech support thread
This shit is Chinesse
the fuck is it anyway? that shitty injection moulding job makes me think it's one of those electronic photo frames.

Why is this board so fucking big? What are these components? This is for a monitor. hitting my knowledge limit
wow this is retarded
somebody's got the same idea
Does it only allow mirroring?
This thread is adorable.
Nobody's said it yet, so just so you know it's called a ZIF (Zero Insertion Force) connector.
I love you OP, and wish you all the best.
you have to flip the tab up
No works as additional
What do you plan on using it as? I can see this being pretty neat for reading doujins and manga.
I am deconstructing it to use as a monitor in a custom Debian laptop that primarily boots and stays in Emacs.
>emacs
I feel upset that I tried to help you earlier. Please make it run a vim-like environment for writing Forth exclusively.
neat, but looking at some vids online on it, sounds annoying having to press the refresh button so often. Why not have it autoreset?
How much did it cost?
left to right
>some kind of IO breakout, maybe an MCU for platform management, might actually be running the whole show and below is just a display controller
>main SoC, probably contains display driver they're using for just the internal screen
>the two little ones are DRAM
>an FPGA, used as glue logic and DMA buffer for both displays
>highly integrated hdmi controller, handles the full spec + audio and just clocks in a frame
the collection of shit in the white boxes are various power regulators for the display etc, on the far top left you have a power management controller and support circuitry, handles just about all the IC and IO voltages by the looks.
In my experience using it so far. There is an autoreset you can configure. additionally you can configure a reset key short cut.
Vim is ass
close to a grand
Pull it from the plastic bit.
SciTE is a pretty underrated editor if you haven't tried it yet
This is gold thank you!
It amazes me that people would even use a 500MB text operating system that takes 30 seconds to load. Not to mention the keybindings are litterally impossible to use unless you have a 40 year old $1500 spacekadet.
I don't see a reason to stray from Emacs and mg
Why would I want to use a GUI POS text editor when Vi+plugins can provide the same features more effectively.
>It amazes me that people would even use a 500MB text operating system that takes 30 seconds to load
It takes a few seconds even on my SBC. Besides, I don't give a fuck how long it takes to load, if I'm loading it that means I'm going to be using it for a while. If I'm doing a quick edit I use mg.
>muh keybindings
It's customizable for a reason.
>he has to install vimperator or edit config files and make his editor completely non-standard to even edit files
top kek.
>Vimperator
Why would I want to make Emacs work like a pile of shit?
>edit config files
They exist for a reason. I just keep the stock keybindings, they don't bother me.
>stock emacs bindings
Is pic related you?
Did they burn the labels off the chips???
All of the chip faces have shitty burn mark indentations and look damaged
no
Looks like chemical burns on the chip faces
Microwave it to soften it up a lil
