install gentoo
Nice blog systemd fag.
Install gentoo
installed ubuntu
seems to work just fine
>not yaourt
just read how to use AUR then install the helper. they want you to understand how to manually do AUR before installing a helper. Also, I recommend yaourt never had problems with it. I also like aura, but it sometimes works funny
AHAHAA YOU ARE JUST TO STOOPED TO USE LINUX IT"S NOT OS"S FAULT YOU ARE SO STUPD LIKE HAHAAHA JuST GET SMART LIKE ME жDDD
>Install debian

Every fucking time I install linux, everything I expect to be a huge pain in the cock works without a single issue, and everything I expect to be straightforward is the most ass-paining, back-breaking experience in the fucking universe.

linux distros are for stupid people who can't handle windows
the kind of people that need to "sudo" their file manager because otherwise they'd just fuck everything up while e.g. trying to install some fonts
the kind of people who can't be trusted to know how to use a webbrowser and install software manually, so they need a package manager and a repo with a strict forced set of software available in it.
there is absolutely no reason to use linux on anything but a specialized single task oriented hardware.
"linux desktop" is the biggest IT ruse of our generation
AUR helpers are retarded, it's much easier to just install stuff manually takes less than 30 seconds if you're not retarded.
mpv went full retard and started depending on features of ffmpeg-git and even out-of-tree ffmpeg patches
i haven't updated mpv in a while now because of that
good meme
i liked pacaur because it basically made it irrevelant whether a package is on official repo or aur, you just type pacaur -S packagename and it will search both and even prompt you for password if you omitted sudo
looks like it's discontinued now
Is there a version I can try and install that isn't batshit retarded?
>not just using yaourt
git clone aur.archlinux.org
cd package-query
makepkg -si
cd ..
git clone aur.archlinux.org
cd yaourt
makepkg -si
Wow! Hard as fuck!
yea, right here
mpv.srsfckn.biz
you forgot "yaourt -S pacaur"
i wanted pacaur
yaoirt sucks
>t.brainlet
Do not use something that is too hard for you. Good luck with your noobuntu or windows. :^)
>windows builds
nigger I'm on debian
...
That's WSL, not ubuntu. Try again brainlet.
just install 0.27.0 stable
>OS: Ubuntu 16.04.03 LTS
it's Ubuntu without the abomination that is the linux kernel
basically Ubuntu Unchained
pacman -Qm
bdf-tewi-git 0.312.ab7b3cb-1
libbs2b 3.1.0-4
libmysofa-git 0.4.r54.g990bfdc-1
libxfont 1.5.3-1
mpv-build-git v0.27.0.397.g9b5d062d36-1
mujs 1.0.1-1
python2-jsonrpclib 0.1.7-2
rsound 1.1-2
shaderc-git r438.98ab88b.glslang_r2414-1
For how little I use the AUR, it's hardly worth installing a manager for it.
Then still install yaourt if you're having problems with resolving dependencies yourself. Do what said and then uninstall yaourt.
@64019658
nice reddit meme picture
funny how redditors are too fucking stupid to install even pacaur
Archfags have defended this
pacaur -Qm | wc -l
123
Yes, it's called mplayer.
You are not ready for Arch
more like the other way around
...
That sounds like a threat.
Should have choosen yaourt
Kys yourself
>sorts of shit
be honest to yourself
this is the arch's nature
it's all like that.
>using linux on desktop
>using smug anime reaction images

I like cower. I just delete the gpg key from the PKGBUILD and it builds without having to mess with pacman-key or gpg.
git clone package
cd package
makepkg -si
Every time. It's easier than a package manager. And it lets you check the PKGBUILD for fuckery before installing.
>t.Fernando Retardo
Just install packer. No AUR dependencies required.
>t.Bernardo Retardo
better this
Who else /trizenmasterrace/ here?
the point of the standard repos is so that you don't have to do this. your point are way frontends (particularly yaourt) are dangerous
