My Sansa Clip+ is starting to malfunction. Should I start using bluetooth earphones with my phone or are there good (and cheap) portable media players I don't know about out there?
Nathaniel Richardson
Got a bunch of electronics over the last month or so, primarily from ebay. Will post some other stuff as well. Quick messy info: >Electronics and soldering stuff work, they are generic parts after all. >TS100 + solder stand are awesome so far, still testing though. >Chink Tweezers are awesome so far, cheap but work, I really like the reverse action one. >Chink arduino mini clones are amazing
In the end generic parts are generic, no news here.
Jace Ward
These are the chink purchases that I'm most pleased with so far. Suction cups and additional attachments for them. The hooks are for when I place the suction cup on a horizontal surface and hang things down. The rest are wire keychains with a lockring for hanging things that have their own hook instead of a hole. I've already about a dozen suction cups in use in the tiny kitchen area of my cheap apartment.
Dylan Jones
What media players do you know about? Also, why bluetooth headphones specifically, can't you just get good pair of IEMs and use them with your phone?
Colton Torres
The other stuff: Some other magnetic charging cable that ignores orientation (Phone does not use USB-C so thought it was worth it) Also cartridges for the Xiaomi Mijia signature pen. >Magnetic charging cable is shitty quality, fiddly to get to charge, overall not worth it. >Xiaomi Mijia feels High quality and I really like its weight and materials. Personally I think it looks amazing. It feels a little "sharp" to write with it though, for signatures it's amazing, for long time writing it's okay but not worth getting. I also found for drawing it's fun.
Jayden Lewis
He probably stores his phone in a place that's inconvenient for wired.
Logan Torres
Did you check the wiki/infographic?
Gabriel Wood
>What media players do you know about? Some Fiio/Sony ones but they're getting more and more expensive and I don't want to pay more than 50€ for a PMP (I'm not fussy about the sound quality, I just need something for when I exercise).
I'll admit I haven't since I'm used to the headphones general one which is never updated.
>Also, why bluetooth headphones specifically, can't you just get good pair of IEMs and use them with your phone? Pretty much this.
I only use earphones to exercise and I've sent my Clip flying quite a few times so I figured I wouldn't have this problem with my phone if I used something wireless (moreover, I can't be assed with some kind of armband).
Jordan Peterson
There's at least Ruizu X26 which is audio player with clip, kinda like sansa clips. Also the same manufacturer makes other small and cheap media players. As for bluetooth headphones go the KZ HDSEs are usually recommended, I think? head-fi.org/t/698148/13110#post_12974769 head-fi.org/t/698148/12000#post_12851045
Also there's KZ ZS6 which you can replace the cable with bluetooth module/cable from the manufacturer.
Henry Carter
The module thing is interesting: only paying for the module in case it breaks instead of the entire thing sounds nice. Do you own them?
Can you buy comfortable office/gaymen chairs from china without being absolutely raped on shipping?

>mfw just ordered 10 mystery bags Fucking love these. Its really like someone sending you gifts in the mail.
Adam Parker
Need advice for a robot vacuum cleaner, i had decided to go for the xiaomi mi one but aliexpress doesn't ship it to refugeetaly for some reason and on amazon it costs 400 euro.
Hard floors, only 1 carpet which can be removed if necessary, no pets but a few long human hair here and there; i'd rather not spend more than 300. bls helb
Ryan Myers
My dad has the first generation Xiami robot vacuum. It can clear carpets and has great pathfinding. You can easily find videos of it on youtube, the way it navigates around table legs is orgasmic
Easton Reed
I don't think you can, unless the price includes shipping. It is free for small shit, don't expect a fucking chair to be shipped for free/cheap. JAKCOM WE2 Smart Wearable Earphones because cheap and they got magnets to wear around your wrist.
I personally prefer those receivers you can connect any Earphones, speaker or whatever to, because that way you can make your stuff bluetooth. An example:
Those are cheaper and I assume you already have Earphones, just not bluetooth because you used the Sansa. So you can use those with that one.

Link to the Gonzo?
Nicholas Howard
What do you normnally get in them? Is the value worth?
James Myers
Thinking in getting some sex toys , some anal stimulator (no homo) and the chink equivalent of Tenga.. thoughts and recommendations?
Jaxson Price
??? what kind of gift bags? I am personally very cautious of such stuff because I find most of them just use it to dump useless shit on you and it's a game of what's in the box and what did you waste your money on.
Jaxson Brown
Any recommendations on sd card holders?
Connor Edwards
>Its really like someone sending you gifts in the mail. C-can you ask them to w-write cute notes on them? Asking for a friend...

why can no one link the fucking threads
Alexander Jenkins
phone music quality kinda differs
Carter Morales
>SD card holders? What do you mean? You mean adapters? Micro SD to normal? Or SD cases?
Elijah Bell
sd cases
Joshua Gomez
If all they do is provide protection and you don't do really fucked up shit with them, feel free to get any. They all work. Personally I use the free plastic holder you get with most sd cards. If you use many just get any bag that looks good and costs little.
Liam Nguyen
Why are you building bombs, user?
Joseph Campbell
>Law dictates that I say no No for real I built a small christmas Tree that insults people walking by, currently finishing a slider module for my pc that allows me to manipulate the windows sound mixer with hardware and next up is a drink mixer with wifi integration, but there's still some stuff missing for that.
Logan Watson
Gearbest has different mystery bags with names that give you a vague idea of what they have in them. Shit like "top LED mystery bag" or "funny hobby bag". Its usually good value
William Carter
It's finally here lads.
Can't wait to take it for a spin tomorrow.
Tyler Brooks
Oh shit be sure to give us a small review after using it!

are there any good flight sticks? My logitech thumb button doesn't work anymore
Austin Jenkins
Please tell how it works steep uphill and battery life. I was considering buying it, but not fully ready to shell out $1000.
Kayden Lewis
managed to find a sale, is the app now translated in english?
Julian Martin
Will do if I remember. But there no mountains or hills here so I won't be able to try that. And it's nowhere near $1000, mine was €470.
Parker Martinez
Thanks user, it's appreciated.
Robert Edwards
Is it easier to have usb sticks around or sd cards with an adapter. It's mostly for backups, to have a few live linux sticks and so on. Are usb sticks cheaper than sd cards?
Mason Wilson
Got any links? Sounds fun
Wyatt Williams
Link?
Kevin Miller
Thanks. Shipping and import fees really add up for me in Canada.
Ian Powell
GB
GB had free shipping and no import taxes.
Brayden Rivera
Just search "surprise bag" on GB
Owen Rodriguez
I'd go for 3.0 USB sticks, just make sure you don't get chinked, there's a lot of fake ones out there. Also consider heat. Mine works fine but I can literally evaporate water on it if I use it for longer periods.
SD cards (I primarily looked at micro sd) cost pretty much equal to western cards, shark cards may be a chance, if not don't bother, they are hit or miss.
Christian Hall
>I personally prefer those receivers you can connect any Earphones, speaker or whatever to, because that way you can make your stuff bluetooth.
This is an interesting solution. How many hours of music can I expect from something like this?
Robert Perry
post images/video of the tree project
Jackson Bennett
Is the FiiO A1 any good?
Ryder Perez
>post images/video of the tree projec I'm too lazy right now to make a pic but here's the gist: 1€ shop plastic tree on top of a case. Case contains: Li-ion Batteries salvaged from someone who trew them away, arduino nano connected to a ultrasonic sensor via digital pins, DFplayer mini for song storage connected to the arduino for serial commnication and code changing (DF contains amp). Also 5 ohm mini speaker.
>Ardino 2€ >Dfplayer ~1,50€ >micro sd 1€ >ultasonic module 1€ >tree 1€ everything else I already had so 6,50€ for some good laughs. Check the DIY board /ohm/ or stupid question generals for info if you want to get into your own projects.
Zachary Brooks
Oh I forgot: Got a chink breadboard for 1€, and this is the one thing that differed from the other generic stuff I ordered. These are not hard to produce but still, can't recommend. >Do. Not. Buy. Just pay slightly more, get a better breadboard instead. The cables are hard to get in and you can never be sure if they actually reach the contacts and are conducting. It's really frustrating.
William Collins
The CHINKing is real...
Evan Clark
No. Get dac-x6 if you want cheap dac/amp. bonus points for being actual chinkshit. dac-x3 is okay too, but price difference is too small for it to be worth it.
Asher Wood
yeah, buy a braun or a philips locally and get the replaceable parts from the chinks (check availability and price before buying the shaver)
Austin Williams
so i got a pair of leg braces and it was suggested i wear some long socks, but all i've ever worn have been ankle socks. any links to some quality shit?
Caleb Smith
I got chinked badly because I hoped for a clean android and bought Xiaomi Mi A1. I know I'll have to root this shit and get the google shit out of it.
I am disappoint because Android 7 seem to lack many useful features and details found in MIUI. No option to show instant network speed/usage for wifi. Does not record calls out of the box. You can't even configure the hardware keys to behave like you want. ON A FUCKING STOCK ANDROID YOU CANT DO THIS.
Audio quality was supposed to be exceptionally good and it has that fucking hiss, you know what kind of hiss I'm talking about. At least audio jack is at the bottom like it always should be.
Do not buy Mi A1. Mi5x with MIUI is comfy - get it instead.
Cameron Thompson
>rants that mi a1 is not "clean android" >suggests MIUI instead 3/10, made me reply
Eli Butler

I just got fucking chinked by Banggood and Le Eco.
Bought a Le Eco Max 2, but it was already fucking open and had a password on it. (Only a few scratches on the camera fortunately).
Had to factory reset it, and all seemed fine for a little bit before I tried installing the stock rom, which then asked for a Le Eco account bound to it. Turns out it's probably bound to the IMEI.
I contacted those fucks and they told me that I could send it back and get a replacement after they verified it, but that'd take over 2 months and I've already installed Lineage on it, not to mention that I can't be without a phone for 2 months.
Ian Taylor
I wasn't aware that clean android does not have much customization options. Apparently Google thought it would be a fine idea to make android idiot-proof and not provide much options. It's apple-tier thinking.
Ian Peterson
Those Xiaomi Sport headphones don't last very long either, mine broke after about 4 months.

when do you open a dispute because you haven't received your item? my order hasn't arrived and purchase protection ends in 5 days.
Joshua Lee
Depends on the particular thing, at least 2 hours I assume. I got one that I bought on my city but is chink for sure last 4-5 hours with... Like 75-80% of volume. Mine is an imitation of a Sony one, I linked the first one I saw on Ali but there are others. A solution could be to buy two and rotate between them, the things are cheap. I personally use a DZ09, and the reciever I mentioned with some Earphones for gym, because I used to live in a shit hole and needed a inexpensive way to listen to music (DZ09 is a cheap smart watch that one can use as a Bluetooth music player, the thing Cost like 10 dollars).
Levi Green
Where can I buy car parts? Not like engine parts but just shit to rice my car with. I tried Ali but they have a pretty meagre selection.

>buys Mi A1, literally a Mi 5X with Google supplying the software instead of Xiaomi >is disappointed and angry to find Google Apps on the phone

whats the current meme tablet?
Mostly want to browse the web, read PDF's, netflix/movies.
Isaac Morris
I use a galaxy tab 3 10.1, got it for 80 bucks from a chink store in my city. I recommend 10 inches, that size is perfect to read and watch stuff.

banggood has a section, but from what I've seen it's pretty sparse. Seems pretty good for lighting though, what in particular are you looking for?
If anyone is thinking about it I can recommend the xiaomi router router 3g.
There is no official xiaomi English firmware, but LEDE is easy enough to get on there and frees you from the botnet.
I thought about installing padavan, but the source has to compile first which would take a couple of hours before you have to install it and I couldn't be arsed waiting.
It's a $40 AC1200 router so don't get excited about performance, but it's running nicely with adblock and the firewall running with about 85% of the memory free.
So far the only downside I can see is I need to update the kernel to install the USB storage packages.
It looks like USB works out of the box with padavan.
Robert Ortiz
Does it smell like rice?

Ooohh mini velo. How much?
Adam Allen
Thankfully not

Looks super awkward to fold/unfold.
Should have just gotten a Brompton.
Christian Gonzalez
Does anybody have any experience with MMCX Bluetooth cables? They seem pretty cheap on AliExpress.
Gavin Cruz
Bought pic related for no good reason. We shall see how it goes. My vphone S8 has seizures if it is on the charger for any amount of time. It thinks that the cable is being moved in and out, and it vibrates every time. Can hear a BUZZBUZZBUZZBUZZ when it starts.
