so they're basically admitting that there is nothing special between a Quadro card and a GTX 1080TI?

>buy a product, not a service
>seller still restricts you on how you use it

>This thread again.
GPU wars should be a bannable offense, specially when it's a Sup Forums faggot talking about the enterprise segment.

Shill pls. Gaming has nothing to do with this.

We had a thread like this before and a lot of anons, me included got you told already.
First you have no clue what a change in the EULA does, second you keep making these threads because muh crying wojak with company logo hat is very funneh.
It's literally Sup Forums and NEET culture, come on pajeet.

I just read the article and decided to share it with you lads
Luckily, unlike yourself, I'm not retarded so I know what the change in EULA does.
Go shitpost somewhere else shill

>Had to reset his router to keep shitposting about muh gpu wars.

user, that change in the EULA doesn't imply you cannot use said hardware anymore. I'm using it right now because we only need single precision floating point operations so why blow cash on a quadro or even a tesla when we don't need double precision speeds?
Stop being a baby with your gpu war shit.

Who said anything about not being able to use the hardware? It's about a company telling you(ofc by "you" its mostly businesses that are affected) what you can and cant do after you bought their product aka scummy business practices. All there is to it, not gpu wars, amd being better than them or performance comparison, and certainly not video games, it's just about them being greedy. Ofc we all know the EULA wont be enforced everywhere but it's just an another attempt at cashgrab.

Q-tip companies tell you not to put them in your ear

It’s fucking nothing buddy

You're good at this.
True, they did that to cover themselves from lawsuits. This move by Nvidia is just a profit for them because they know big companies would rather just sell the used gpus and invest in the new ones rather than deal with the lack of drivers/getting caught and sued for shitloads of money aka scummy business practices. Am I wrong?

I wasn’t that guy you were arguing with go
Go talk to him instead, I just wanted to say a thing. However, I do work closely with the deep learning division where I work and this has changed nothing.

novidia drone surely deployed really fast

Nvidia won't sue them.
it's nvidia protecting their OWN asses from being sued.
You know what a kinderegg is? They had to write on it that you can't swallow the giant plastic toy because literal adult men died while eating kindereggs and their families tried to sue the company.
That shit is even banned in the USA because of so many deaths.
Stop being dumb user.

I’m sick of buying things and never owning them. If I buy a car, GM doesn’t get to tell me where I can drive it.

Why would a GPU be any different?

Nvidia said they do not support you driving the car over a cliff after plowing through a bunch of kids in a pre-school.
But at same time they state that if you really want go for it but they aren't accountable for any sort of damage you may cause.

>Literal adult men died while eating kindereggs
>In the USA
>Stop being dumb user

Not even memeing, americanistan is a weird land.
Been banned for ages, what I don't understand is how you can swallow that entire thing without even biting it once and finding out it has a giant plastic toy inside.

Why would you deploy Geforce drivers in a cluster?

For CUDA / massively parallel computation?

GPU wars should be a bannable offense

PLS IT WAS HALF OF Sup Forums IN THE EARLY DAYS, LIKE WAIFU WARS BUT BETTER CUS GPUS ARE R E A L :^)

>ITS OVER ATI IS FINISHED

...

>Data centers that are using GeForce products for cryptocoin mining are unaffected by this change in the EULA.
