>100$
Where?

I wouldn't go less than 500GB, but that is a very attractive price.

I bought a 1.1TB model for like $250 a few weeks back

i already bought it

>m.2
>SATA
you goofed it man

Enjoy your shitty SATA 3 speeds

explain

I did.

it's fucking sata
a maximum of 550-600MB/sec@100k-110k IOPS
good pcie m2 ssds go beyond 2-3GB/sec and 200-300k IOPS

NVMe != M.2 SATA

NVMe is ~4-5 times faster.

No the exact same but close enough.

Buyers remorse incoming, he really should research his shit before buying.

>WD
how disgusting

>he doesn't like reliable and reasonably priced storage
how disgusting

I'm afraid it's the opposite.

read

kill yourself, my man

The WD drive is NVMe, you dumb motherfucker.

what i gather some of you retards don't understand is that m2 is just a device format, a shape. they can be sata or nvme(pcie)

...

Maybe, but I don't think I'd notice the difference between NVMe and a regular SSD at this point.

yes

I bought one a month ago for $130.

Nothing wrong with TLC for consumer PCs. It will still last longer than the usable life of the PC and performance is about the same as MLC.

The difference is only noticeable if you're looking for it. It's not nearly as huge as the difference between magnetic disk and SSD.

>bought 2 of the exact model pictured in OP
>figured out how to set up a bootable RAID with them on a 1950x Threadripper
>tfw RAID 0

I might buy 4 or 6 more and RAID 0 them all together because reasons.

Nope not yet too premium. Gimme 1tb nvme for 100 bucks then ok

>1.1TB
>m.2
user, I

>still SATA
Good meme anyway

Of course. Samsung's TLC is comparable to others MLC

Rather pay more for the 500
