I'd keep a fire extinguisher nearby for that power supply, but other than that it's pretty good. No upgrade path available though.

Did you actually build it?
Did you need a new PSU?

Would this PC + a GTX 1050 Ti + an SSD be good, or should I build a new PC with an R3 1200? The latter would be ~150€ more expensive.

I have about 20 of the 8300s deployed in prod at work

they're great little boxes

Prebuilt, so 0/10

Dunno why they get shilled so hard but I think it is because someone is sitting on tons of em.

The specs are neat but you are stuck with a terrible case, a non standard mainboard and you are pretty much fucked if your mainboard dies. You will also need to buy a new PSU.

As soon as I saw the word "rate my" I thought I was on a Sup Forums thread. Kek

I've got a 7010 MT and I agree. The non-standard mb and shit-tier PSU are frustrating.
Nice PC otherwise, though.

You'd better not push that thing too far, the PSU likely can't handle it.

You need to get a PSU with more wolts if you are willing to upgrade to a better GPU than gtx 1050 ti. The motherboard is 6 pin meaning you need to get a 24 pin to 6 pin cable if you want to upgrade

My school uses these with ssd's. The small form factor looks so comfy.
Makes me want to get one for an htpc.

Nice. What do you use the serial port for?

>fucked if your mainboard dies
not when you can replace it for $30

Thinking of getting one of these or an optiplex. Don't gayme. Can they run two 1920 x 1200 or one 2560x 1600 and two 1600 x 1200 monitors?

OEM businessline cases are actually much better than what people buy for "budget" builds. You have to get into $100+ range before you can get comparable hobbyist cases.

FIFTEEN

I love those SFF pcs being tossed nowadays by major corporations. I recently made a machine for my kid. 4 cores, 8 gigs of memory and an ssd and proper GPU for less then $100.

Same PC here, user.
I moved it into a spare case, because I am too cheap to hunt down SFF compatible video cards.

Wow you can't tell 'i' and '1' apart you shite.

Got my 8200 tower for free in work, they come in for recycling pretty often. I'm too poor to afford a decent computer so I just threw whatever parts I could find into it along with a 1050ti.
