>PRAISE THE CHINKPHONES unless you live in America you shits

Previous thread:

Shit, previous thread

Just got a pixel 2 xl, did I do good?

Should have got a note 8

OP5T 8gb/128gb

Best phones under $200?

Why is the Moto X Style so good?

None

Used 2016 flagship

I got a note 8, there really isn't a great reason to get it over phones though unless you want the s-pen desu.

Why are there no 18:9 Ratio phones with QC, usb-c, and microSD? Fucking chinkphones don't pick up American bands and the only one I've found that does has a SD630 in it, and that's not much of an upgrade

>Why are there no 18:9 Ratio phones with QC, usb-c, and microSD?
S8/S8+/Note8

Help me out, bros. I have a Xperia XA Ultra that I bought September last year, but I'm currently needing more RAM and I wish to buy a new phone.

Problem is I'm not quite sure which one to buy.
There are a lot of phones out there that seem pretty good but the RAM is always lacking for some reason. They offer lot of things that are appealing but sure enough RAM is not one of them

So my question is the next one:
Which phone could I buy that has a solid RAM? Any brand would do.
I'm confused on the matter and I would really appreciate any advice you could give me.

Thanks for reading, and happy new year.

Just bought a Samsung Note 8 and loving it so far.

Anyone got any must have apps/tips/etc on how to get the most out of it?

If you like RPGs KOTOR is great on the Note8.

V30?

> looks at detailed phone specs data
> lists filetypes instead of max sample rate and bitrate

why do they sit on us hi-res autists every goddamn time... i have 2tb of 24/192 ffs...

>inb4 muh shannon

No Samsung pls
No LG pls

I think you're out of luck m8. Western phones with an sd card slot or a 2:1 display are already a short list, let alone both.

If your budget is not limited look into the OnePlus 5t. They have an 8gb RAM model.

Why no Aquos S2 tho? 289 for the 64GB model and 445 for the 128?

/csg/ has some good recs
I know ulefone has some decent budget tier phones

>Name every feature of s8
>N-No I'm a poorfag
Everytime
You either pay or settle for less

Did I say I want 1440p screen? No
Did I say I want Snapdragon 8XX? No
Did I say I want NFC? No
What I asked for is very reasonable and can be made and sold at a reasonable price, the fucking chinks are selling them for $250 bucks for fucks sake

Don't know. I'm using one and it is great.

The problem is the people who care about mSD, USB-C, and 18:9 are generally the people who want a flagship since those are all generally found on flagship devices.

The manufacturers have little incentive to bring those features to cheaper phones when the money can be better spent on better quality internals, or saving money for a cheaper sale price.

Sharp Aquos S2 says otherwise

Then I guess I better buy a Honor 7X and prove that people want those features but not necessarily want a flagship

Then buy it and shut the fuck up.

A single phone from a company that has less than a single percentage of market share isn't exactly going to encourage more of that design.

Then you buy one

Vote with your wallet, but the trend remains and you'll generally be left behind when it comes to software and security updates. And finding replacement parts for non-flagship devices can prove problematic later on in the device life if you end up needing to get it repaired.

I have a Note8, i'll pass

>mSD, USB-C
What part of these indicates the willingness to spend $1000 on a portable media player?

Does chinkshit work on Canadian networks?

S8 is $500-550 you dumb cuck.

Not my fault you're a brainlet who can't help but cry about how samsung touched your pee pee when you had an S3 and so you can never own another samsung device again.

No

Depends, do your research

Not according to Samsung's own site, and definitely not at launch.

...

Why do people buy phones that don't have removable batteries?

Agreed

I haven't really needed a removable battery since I was in highschool. Haven't had one in any of my previous 4 phones.

iPhone 4s, LG G2, Note5, Note8

Plus removable backs feel cheap as fuck

Yeah I had one on my OG Droid X. Was nice being able to swap out battery mid-day since it would be dying by around 1-2pm. But afterawhile the back stopped staying on that well, and it would pop off sometimes by itself in my pocket. Got annoying as hell.

Now that my phone lasts all day without issue, it's simply not been a concern of mine in years.

Until you need a new battery.

Oh no, then I switch back to my Note5 for a week and send it in to samsung who will replace it for free if it is within the first year, and $35 otherwise.

This, and even if the phone sees heavy use during the day it's super easy to carry a portable charger with you or just get a battery case.

...

My point is that it's sad you have to do that.

OnePlus 5t and Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 have been touted as having a large amount of bands so those should work on leaf networks.

...

You're dealing with an iToddler here, no use in arguing with sheep.

>all this self reassurance
I see the remorse creeping in

...

That's every manufacturer though.

No flagship was released in 2017 with a removable battery.

You should write your "E"s with two lines, it would make them look cleaner.

"You don't even notice the notch"

...

The Note8 could be super useful learning proper stroke order for japanese and chinese.

I don't give a toss about camera. I just want it to have a decent battery, ideally replaceable but not necessary, a good size screen, and Android.

Like a [ and then filling in the middle.

Meant for I keep fucking up my posts since I finally got around to installing 4chanx.

...

Are there any good flagships without glass on the back? Android only and I don't want to buy Pixel. Price doesn't matter. Help plz m80s

>Implying

...

A phone with a screen that big should have a better battery desu

...

Talk me out of it.

Can't, green bubble poorfags with doodle sticks will be pissy but what can you do

>tfw no oneplus one-esque "flagship killer"

>what is the OnePlus 5T

>galaxy s8
>$750
>2018

come on t-mobile.

Seriously why

You can buy a xiaomi mi mix 2 ($450), a HP omen 32in freesync 2k monitor ($250), a year of public mobile cell service (12x$38=456 for unlimited calling/sms and 4gb data) and still come out with money left.

$450 + $250 + $456 = $1156

In 2 years that thing will have a quarter of it's value and you probably won't want to use it anymore, don't be retarded

...

Whats the new meme gallery app?
The old outdated quickpic crashes all the time on xiaomis

I just use the Simple Gallery on FDroid

>flagship killer
>flagship prices
That's not how this works user

How do poorfags live with non flagship phones?

Quite easily as long as it's a SD625 or better

I """"""found""""""" this today. If I put my SIM in it will it be instantly bricked?

finding something and not putting in enough work to find the owner is theft, user

>AMOLED screen with removable battery in 2016: 11 results
>AMOLED screen with removable battery in 2017: 2 results
wtf I just want a midrange phone with relatively new chipset, amoled screen and a removable battery
fucking samsung isn't getting my money till they stop being retarded

It's a brand new phone and it was sitting on a bench outside of best buy. How am I supposed to know who it belongs to?

If you think having a removable battery isn't retarded i've got some bad news for you user...

>software hangs, can't remove battery
no u

Never happened with my Note5, and so far not with the Note8 either.
Happened once with my LG G2 but holding the power button for like 10 seconds worked to restart it.

I need to get a new phone, my G4 is starting to brake down. Ghost touches and USB port going bad. I got it as a referb for $130 a year ago so I'm happy with it at this point. Should I get a G5 or are there better options?

No chink shit please. Budget 200~

Or does anyone have a guide on how to replace the USB port on this G4? My soldering skills are pretty basic and I'm sure it requires precision so I wasn't gonna bother. I looked at a tear down video and it doesen't look easily replaceable.

Honor 7X

Already got burn in on a month old note 8. I knew I should have just kept a black wallpaper.

Quit being poor and buy a note 8

PPFFFFFFFFTTTHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHABAHANANANANABAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAJAJAJAJAJAJJ

Did you use the always on display?

literally how?

I've had mine since launch and I only use auto brightness. No burn in what so ever.

The only time i've ever noticed burn in on one of my own devices was after a 4 day road trip where i was using my phone as the GPS the entire time so it was plugged in with 75-100% brightness with static GUI elements from the GPS app for 14+ hours a day for 4 days straight.

And even then it wasn't that bad burn in.
