Who is ready to support some websites with their Basic Attention Tokens (BAT)?
In a few hours Brave will donate BAT to the list of sites that appear on your Payments tab, make sure that you select that sites you truly want to support.
Have you already configured your Brave Payments tab, Sup Forums?
yes and the good thing is that you don't have to worry about the site/content creator you donate not being verified since the $BAT will be held in a wallet for them to claim.
Zachary Long
Neat, thanks
Andrew White
Well shilled ramesh!
Luke Morales
This is not an approved shill zone. You are really letting your discord team down Vihaan.
Adam Ramirez
why not just pay directly to the sites?
Cooper Williams

I will never deactivate the ad blocker for any website whatsoever. >muh content providers will disappear without ads revenue fuck you, you are not irrepraceable, i can find your "content" on 20 other sites eat shit
Hudson Perez
Gelbooru niggers blacklisted Brave on Android and that shithole of a still shows ads
Evan King
Stop shilling your fucking garbage browser here too, you nigger. Isn't it enough to do it on >gab?
Brody Ramirez
>I will never deactivate the ad blocker for any website whatsoever. ok? why would anyone care if you use a literal built in feature for brave as it was intended to be used? you having an accident in your diapers, little guy?
Daniel Ross
the fact that you guys are shilling brave so hard and for so long makes people suspicious about your agenda. please convince me to install brave
Nicholas Martinez
youre going to install it without needing convincing as soon as it gets more updates anyway, so whats the point? i use iridium right now and will switch to brave full time after it matures a bit more.
Xavier Harris

Bentley Cruz
i'm using iridium version 2017.10 and it doesn't let me disable or uninstall extensions. do you have the same issue? i read on their github that it had this issue in a previous version
Jose Gray
I wouldn't allow CoinHive shit to run in my browser, I won't allow any of this BAT shit either. There's only one acceptable thing for a browser to do here and that's to block all ads, all the time, everywhere. No trying to monetize me, no hand-wringing over how all the poor """""content creators""""" will make their shekels, no micropayments, no cryptocurrency, no """"acceptable ads"""", no tracking, no learning anything about who I am or what I do online, let alone telling anyone else about it.
Camden Sanchez
just tried it and yea they wont disable. never done it before so i didnt know. im on 2017.11
Isaiah Perry
Brave is never going to have more than 5% market share. Stop hyping this chromium fork.
Samuel Hernandez

Asher Fisher
Shill me on bat

All those cuckbrowser memes are coming true now. >BUT IT'S OPT-IN
Lincoln Russell
Fuck off, i dont want people profiting from my internet
Henry Clark
The advertising scheme finally reveals itself
Aaron Richardson
Brave's optional feature of giving BAT to publishers has zero to do with blocking or not block ads, you fucking idiots.
Hudson Taylor
First, Brave allows you to do exactly what you are saying (in fact, that's the default behavior): Block ads, third-party cookies, DRM, etc. You can even go further and toggle "Block Scripts" and "Fingerprint Protection" which solves things WebRTC leaks.
>There's only one acceptable thing for a browser to do here and that's to block all ads
Oh really, faggot? Well try to go beyond your autistic mindset and realize that if everyone thought like you then many people who make quality content would had a hard time, some of them would even had to quit. You can just simply to the fucking extreme of saying "all ads should die".
We all know that current ads are cancer with shit like tracking pixels, etc. Brendan acknowledges this, that's the problem Brave is trying to solve.
Aiden Fisher
I am sorry user, but our chance to go to the moon ended a couple months ago, the time period for their ICO was incredibly short.
Note: those are not my most visited sites, by default it chooses those, but you can disable and select your own. After all, there is no way I am gonna give big sites like Twitter or Sup Forums a donation.
Gavin Miller
I wish user, but there is still a long way to go.
Landon Brooks
i only care about one thing: how much compensation do i get for supporting a website, by spending my time on it?
when i spend time on their site, generating ad-money, and they refuse to give me a cut, it's theft. >content creation is not a job, it's a hobby >free content isn't compensation in itself
Luke Clark
>mfw I am actually considering this
Thomas Kelly
Just buy a Sup Forums pass. Makes posting a breeze. Highly recommend.
Dominic Phillips
Dude, if he stops, it will be even less.
Michael Evans
Can I download and convert videos in it?
Yeach, mech.
Being tracked only brings me personalized pornography, what's wrong about it?
Gavin Clark
High quality content can live without ads. It's proven working. It also depends on what content, but usually content lacks sort of quality when it's done for ads.
Benjamin Torres
I'm ready to see that faggot to make rederer integrated into screen manager, so I have just one line for the adress and shell.
Jayden Anderson
It sounds reasonable without security prones to be hero later.

Have they drastically improved their UI yet?
Matthew Kelly
"Try again" again
Carter Nguyen
It took me 5 seconds to change Sup Forums's theme and take another screencap. Meanwhile it took you 9999 hours in mspaint to edit your image because your are too stupid to understand that some people like things you don't
Aaron Bailey
What are you guys talking about?
Justin Flores
Call me when brave is opensource and doesn't use electron.
Jaxon Peterson
you sound like plebbit, fuck off
Cooper Cook
What the fuck is this
No spoonfeed brb
Zachary Reyes
>people who make quality content would had a hard time, some of them would even had to quit First most ad funded content is not quality content. Most of it is lowest-common-denominator clickbait meant to be the minimum-effort thing thats able to harvest ad revenue. Second, good! We could use a bunch of large operations like that going out of business! If advertising becomes a non-viable business model, we'll keep much of the signal on the web, and lose much of the noise.
Anthony Green
but you can only add funds from another memecoin :'c
Oliver Nguyen
good browser, chromium plus all antishit
Xavier Perry
Own space for every instance of browsing, using html5 for local applications legaly while interface to them deamons is running on local domain, with integration into OS so hard it doesn't look retarded that you are browsing localhost on the browser.
Also kinda different window manager, with more of... Logic.
Xavier Watson
>Basic Attention Tokens What the fuck am I reading? Has Silicon Valley already managed to commodify human attention?
Noah Hernandez
So this is all this is? Another way for us to throw money at internet companies, except without receiving anything in return? We're paying them directly instead of an ad agency doing it?
Nigga, this isn't an improvement. Or rather, it's an improvement if you're some Silicon Valley reptilian, and any improvement to advertising inevitably means a worse internet for us. I already could give money to anyone I wanted anyway, whether I blocked ads on their site or not. All this does is goad people into doing that by throwing technobabble 3.0 at them, and "sweetening" the pot by saying "and you can even block ads with it!", as if it wasn't something I can do for free already. Do you realize what this boils down to? You're PAYING REPARATIONS to the site's owner, who might as well by a 1%er, for having the audacity of not having half of your screen screen filled with ads when visiting their clickbait.
This is beyond ridiculous. Genius, I admit, but absurd. Ads shouldn't be "improved", not the least of which because such a thing is an oxymoron from the point of view of anyone who doesn't work with advertising. Ads should be fought because they shouldn't fucking exist.
Lucas Garcia
Yes, all of this, with the addition that Brave is almost certainly getting a piece of this pie somewhere along the way. People really are fucking stupid, but it's absolutely amazing to see so many of them on Sup Forums.
James Watson
This is one of the most obvious cases of not-samefag I've ever seen.
Liam James
It's a cryptotoken based on Ethereum.
