Why? The Intel fix isn't going to affect them much because most thinkpad users usually just use them for browsing the web, light gaming, office work, and programming/scripting. Unless you use one for servers then your fucked. I know it's a bait thread.
Have you seen the X280, motherfucker? That's why.
What's wrong with it compared to the 260 or 270
>programming/scripting
There is gonna be a huge hit in debugging, also in local dev databases.
elaborate
no ethernet port, no swappable battery
Dafuq?
AMD RR ThinkPads will be released soon enough.
mactoddlers on suicide iwatch
soon with retina display
Yup basically. It became a knockoff macbook air, instead of the X2** series device we love.
Even Bristol Ridge Thinkpads are better that any Intel-based One.
The new X series seems to be just smaller X1s which is a shame for people who like the useful stuff like hot swappable batteries, at least the new T480 seems like it could be decent though. IDK what is up with the side docking BS though.
well I guess im not thinking of getting the rr equivalent x280 anymore.
>no removable battery
what the fuck were they thinking?
>no ethernet
get a TB dock/dongle for 1 of the 2 TB ports
>no swappable battery
who cares you can still replace them easily when the capacity drops after a year
>no ram slots
16 is literally a $30 upgrade over 8
>probably less than 2.5 lbs
>2 TB3s
>NVMe
>65 watt fast charging
I'll take it
Link to new models?
imagine how the prices will plummet when all these companies dump their thinkpads in mint condition
makes me wanna cum in my paints
Dump them for what?
There are like 3 AMD laptops currently and they are all consumer tier trash
>implying next mac aint gonna be ARM
Just envy x360 that you can HOLD IN ONE HAND AND USE STYLUS IN THE OTHER.
Get out of here with your sense-making
Replace it easily while machine is running
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
implying it didn't die the moment chin chongs took over
>Louis
Why?
>no ethernet port
Shit
> no swappable battery
Swappable. Service manual says, that screw driver will be required.
>get a TB dock/dongle for 1 of the 2 TB ports
>dongle
I am not a gay to use dongles.
>16 is literally a $30 upgrade over 8
This is bad too. But is laptop thin or something?
