Adblock for Chrome is all you'll ever need.
>using an ad hider instead of an actual ad blocker like Adblock Plus

wew lad :^)
Technically you don't """need""" anything more than food, water, air, and shelter. That's no way to live though, fuck minimalism.
Nothing to hide, nothing to fear.
>blocking ads
You can't win, just let go and learn to embrace the internet, not as it was, but as it is and always will be from here on out.
Adblock+ is a shitty and inefficient adblocker. uBO kills it when it comes to performance. Also;
>thinking chromium browsers are good at blocking ads and malicious content
>uBO kills it when it comes to performance
Yes because it hides the ads instead of blocking them which is a more performance costly operation but in the end Adblock Plus is actually FASTER since you don't need to download the ads.
damn....
yea goy, let us use your machine as coin miner.
Prove it retard.
Can't prove a negative, pussytits.
You're the same user who's constantly spreading the same misinformation. uBO blocks ads. It stops your browser from connecting to domains. Explain how this is "hiding" and not blocking. If anything given ABP's bad performance it would seem that it actually loads ads and then hides them. Loading+hiding requires more resources than simply blocking domains.

What are you saying? That I don't even need µMatrix?
All to browse Sup Forums alone.
Oh, the author says it doesn't hide ads. It must be ok, then.
Everything I post is satire.
I will never stop fighting back against (((ads)))
It's open source. Show me how he's wrong.

That's not a negative. You explicitely said it hides ads, then it got proven that it blocks them. You now need to prove your claim or kill yourself. The source code is right there.
You need Disconnect as well
You made the claim, you're the one who has to prove it. See:
I don't think so.
You can't prove a negative in mathematics idiot. You can definetly proof what unblock is doing when looking at the sourcecode
ublock origin
violentmonkey + Sup Forums-x
RES
That's my minimum.
I can't prove it's not hiding ads, silly.
>RES
You have to go back.
You could prove that it is hiding ads if it was, but it's blocking them which is why you haven't referenced the source code even once.
What's RES
You could prove it if it was, but it isn't. You have to bring evidence to proof that it actually is hiding ads, but you can't. Post discarded.
Would it be bloat if I bought a winter coat?
Nope, you have to prove that it does block ads instead of hiding them. This conversation is going nowhere.
The niche communities makes it worth it. Chans aren't enough for my daily fix. I need HN and reddit too.
>you have to prove that it does block ads instead of hiding them.
Well, here you go: github.com
The entire code just for you. If there's anything odd, tell us!
I'm using uBlock Origin, uMatrix and HTTPS Everywhere. Is it overkill?
No, it's fine
>RES
It's the only worthwhile extension.
If it's a Firefox based browser you're fine.
Is adding violent/tampermonkey scripts bloating and slowing down my browser as much as adding regular addon-ons?
I have about 5 or 6 scripts loaded on violentmonkey.
Oh, the author says it doesn't hide ads. It must be ok, then.
It depends entirely on the addons and how well they're made.
That post makes no sense, the author doesn't say anything. It's literally the code.
Okay, help.
Mistakenly entered element zapper, thought right clicking in brwoser window would make it go away, brought up a menu, then left clicked to make the menu go away. Now my Sup Forums threads are all white with no images and generally just broken.
What do
It actually blocks ads, I've looked through the source code.
Just reinstall Ublock
Claim: [ublocko] hides the ads instead of blocking them
That's not a negative claim, that is a positive claim. Hence the burden of proof does lie on you.
