The majority of their customers are occasional uses or extremely sporadic users who only have 10-20mbps connections anyway. In reality the people barely using the VPN are paying for the heavy uses who hammer their 200-500mbps+ connections 24/7.

It's an American company, do the math. I always laugh at tinfoil hats but those prices are just too low to take the chance.

It's honeypot.

I use it, it's alright. The only reason i got it was because the college off campus dorms i was staying in said they were made i was using 'bittorrent' so i just got a VPN so they can't see shit.

just be warned that since this VPN is cheap and a lot of people use it, Sup Forums posting is out of the question because every IP address is banned. Facebook works fine. Most private torrent sites wont let you log in with them, and a lot of seeders wont connect to you with it on.

So if youre using it just for torrenting and shit its decent. Gaming is also fine I guess. I've never had any drops on it fwiw

>a lot of seeders wont connect to you with it on.

If all you're doing is torrenting or using it to bypass region locks then I don't see how it matters.

If you're running a massive botnet from your house and doing other highly illegal things then yea, avoid PIA. But for normie stuff it's cheap, fast, and reliable. I've got over 5TB of torrents downloaded through their VPNs over the past year or two. Never once has my actual IP been leaked.

That's bullshit. I've got 1gbps at home and I torrent at 300-400mbps with 5-10 seeders on private trackers

if you're using a private tracker its not a big deal, since private trackers typically have a lot of seeders for shit. If you're torrenting porn from thepiratebay it'll go like 10 kbp but the second you turn it off it'll go x100000 times that.

This company is not based in Murica, pretty much the same price. During X-mas they were doing like $2.22 for 2 years. Are they ALL honey pot?

PS
PIA oversold. I can barely get 100mbits on my 1 gig service, they used to give me 600mbits. sad.

It depends on the torrent and the seeders, but a lot of them straight up will block those VPN IP addresses and a few sites do block you from logging in when you have it activated. I'm not lying lol

Hi, where can I start with private trackers? I have an idle seedbox that I can use to seed but everytime I look for applications they are closed (alpharatio, IPTorrents)

>the college off campus dorms i was staying in said they were made i was using 'bittorrent' so i just got a VPN so they can't see shit.
When they asked me about my torrenting habit, I said it was from game launchers building in P2P updaters to save bandwidth costs. They haven't said anything since and never did anything

I use it to torrent stuff without getting law suited. Shit so cash.

what is the best VPN for baiting Sup Forums and Sup Forums? Obviously needs plenty of international nodes that aren't already banned

pastebin.com/jLRY7pXw

and here i am paying 15 euros a fucking month for my seedbox.

I really wish Sup Forums would stop blocking VPN users from posting. And no i ain't paying for the pass shit.

you and me both. but I can find an alternative service with similar services.

the light users subsidize the heavy ones. This is true for many pay subscription services. Moviepass works the same way.

>PIA oversold. I can barely get 100mbits on my 1 gig service, they used to give me 600mbits. sad.
Change servers.
I get 300-400mbps reliably to their NYC/NJ servers and 600mbps+ using their SOCKS5 proxy in the Netherlands.

if i use a usa server instead of a netherlands server to p2p will they ban me?

>doing other highly illegal things then yea, avoid PIA
Actually PIA is one of the few VPN's that has been tested in this regard and basically complies with law enforcement but has no useful information to give them.

Being in the US means they don't have any legal requirement to keep logs, and this has been confirmed by an FBI case a couple years ago where they couldn't even verify that the person they were after had paid for PIA, no less what he was doing on the service.

This is also the reason they have no warrant canary. It doesn't matter if they've complied with a warrant or not, they have no information to give law enforcement anyway.

Nice reddit spacing faggot now go back there

forgot to link

That's just what (((they))) want you to think.

I mean if that's the mindset you're going to have you can't really trust any VPN.

it costs like $30 a year to get a shit 128 mb linux vps, which is basically all you need to run a vpn

these guys can do it even cheaper because
1) they can remove a shit ton of overhead
2) not every client is going to use their service 24/7
3) economies of scale

why are you using personally identifiable services behind a VPN you retard

a cheap vps with dedicated ip runs for less than $20 a year

1 Euro per month. 1core, 1GB RAM. Learn to VPS.

Where did you see these prices?

> cheap
They are among the most expensive normalfag region lock bypasses.
