Is there even a single successful communist country?

Pro tip, communism fails because it is attempted by inferior races. If Aryans tried it it would be a utopia

viet nam

china

b-b-b-b-b-but TRUE communism has never been tried

>china communist

To be perfectly honest there has never been an ideologically sound communist state, because communism is a meme. However there have been multiple attempts at socialist states and they all devolve and stagnate into authoritarian singe party states.

But East Germany

vietnam ;)

that's why East Germany is the richest part of Germany

No.
But I guess from all Commie countries East Germany was the most successful - for a commie country

Wasn't it Yugoslavia? From what they say, their parents lifes were pretty good.

I was thinking generally about the standard of living.
But you are right, compared to what happened during the 90s and even today Yugo must have been heaven.

why do Americans do this?

Yes Yugoslavia had pretty much the sanest, most competent commie leader around, but a lot of their success stemmed from getting monetary help from both the USSR and the US, and once the help waned things weren't as good.
Also Tito din't really prepare the country for his death so after it happened things went to shit.
So it's less a communist success story and more a Tito success story

>per capita GDP of $1910

I don't want to defend Commie Germany in any way but at least all villages and towns and the very most houses had running sanitary (hot) water and electricity 24/7.

noticing a trend here ?

lmoa epic XD

Juhoslavija v 1974.roku mala vecsy GPD od Talianska.

Potom Tito zomrel a Srby znicili prekrasny stat.

My guess is that we realize nobody takes us seriously here anyway so we might as well just say absurdly stupid shit for (You)s.

Russians ruled East Germany and I'm not even close to the moderate left.

>taking mormons as good example
WeW

The Russian influence on East Germany was, compared(!) to all other Warsaw Pact cunts, quite low.

You guys are becoming the next leafposters after the sharting debacle, it's time to stop.

>leafposters
That was good fun lad, also don't ignore the fact that Brazilians on Sup Forums are nearly Polish levels of butthurt

venezuela :^)

Don't derail my Serious Thread.

Because the very core ideals of communism isn't achiveable to us as a species. It is simply not in our nature to accept being mediocre in the eyes of others. Every single one of us want to be happier than those around us. We want a job that comes with more social stature than others, we want fancier living accomodations etc. We simply want to live better lives in general than everyone else.
No matter how well fed, safe or free we are, we will never be happy, as long as we know that we are not the happiest.

I have no idea why people want communism/socialism. Men who visited the US during the cold war were baffled about how nice it was

China grew powerful when they adopted free market

lol nope

>inb4 but it's not TRUE communism!

couldn't you argue communism makes the pursuit of happiness itself much harder than in capitalistic societies

Yes. As ambition, and our drive for succes is in our very nature as human beings, creating the world of Karl Marx's ideal would be impossible. Even if it was all run by Karl Marx himself.

This of course applies to communists themselves as well. When they envision their workers utopia, they end up imagining themselves playing a key role in it.

It is simply a trait that we cannot rid ourselves off, and we have to come to terms with that.
Communism in it's pure form will never work, as it would mean defying our own instincts.

Socialist Afghanistan was heaven compared to the
current one.

Unfortunately everything fell apart when the radical faction of the communist part decided to pull a coup during the ongoing civil war.
