Porque? Sabes leer el Español? Tu accento suena muy bien. Your accent sounds great (for a Mexican) because it sounds quite natural. However I can feel a bit of American grammar in there so yes you need Spanish grammar

Yeah that explains the accent, when was the last time you spoke Spanish? I had a similar experience but to really master Spanish you need to be around native speakers and you will slowly start to fix your grammar on your own. If you don't have have any friends or family who speak Spanish, watching Spanish shows and movies is the best way to get a hang of things. As it you're very understandable but theres a slight awkwardness when you speak it you just need to relax a bit

I speak it every day actually, but in a really limited context; just at work, so I am repeating the same things over and over. Speaking it purely for socializaton...Probably not since childhood. I kind of feel like I need to just go stay in a Spanish-speaking country for a while, or else take some actual classes to really focus hard on grammar.

Thanks for your input, I always feel unsure of myself when trying to judge my own ability or describe what my weaknesses are with it.
