But most of the people i see casually in that kind of clothing are in other countries, usually in Asia and America. They've turned our flag into a fashion symbol.

Others might suspect that the person is a nationalist, but wearing a shirt with the Union Jack isn't a taboo. At patriotic events like the Olympics or a Royal Wedding, it would even be considered appropriate attire.
