Hmm, maybe the reason they have these is so that it will be able to be used on whatever computer you have available to you during a situation like running from the state, rather than having to hunt for a computer with some specific special snowflake wireless chipset that works with linux-libre.
Don't get me wrong, if you're just using this on your own personal computers, then this is a legitimate point and you should definitely use Heads instead.

I like heads but it sends "heads" as hostname and doesn't have a mac randomizer.
I know it can be easily solved but they're still very shitty defaults for a privacy oriented distro.
