Just installed Manjaro (GNOME), what should I do now?

uninstall gnome, install a non-shitty DE.

manjaro xfce is better

...

Unironically install windows 10

OP do yourself a favour and uninstall the GNOME edition. Download KDE. Heck, faggy XFCE is better than GNOME.

not OP but the KDE edition is way less stable than the GNOME edition by virtue of it being KDE
screen tearing, random not working shit that seemingly has no fix, etc
KDE 5 is leagues better than KDE 4 but it has a lot of quality of life stuff to work on still.

why yall hate gnome so much

What tje fuck is that wallpaper OP

i don't

it's just that gnome is the fascist DE and not very well operative

We hate Gnome and Boyjaro. We prefer Debian with Xfeces.

I like Debian, even though the kernel and some programs are old as shit

Currently using xubuntu

I think its final fantasy art, looks cool desu. Whyd you choose GNOME?

fpbp.

Uninstall G*ome.

GNOME just werks.
KDE is too unstable, XFCE looks like shit, Cinnamon looks like shit, MATE looks like shit, LXDE looks like shit, etc.
I have tried most popular DEs and always go back to GNOME.

Q: How many GTK+/GNOME devs does it take to change a lightbulb?

A: None. Things are simpler if you just live in the dark.

Kill yourself

remove all the manjaro-hello and similar packages, remove totem and install mpv. If you remove totem, nautilus will not be able to generate video thumbnails anymore, so you need to install ffmpegthumbnailer. I'm using deepin-gtk-theme + numix-icon-theme-circle.
Also disable some shitty extensions like unite. Just keep dash-to-dock and few other stuff you need. Next time install solus gnome. I'm waiting for my manjaro installation to die to install solus. I used to dislike gnome when i only had a toaster. Now i love it because it's minimal out of the box, but the manjaro team made it look like a prostitute.

I might try this in a VM, never heard of Solus but it looks promising.

LOL, well, if your gui library is not cross-platform, then no luck.

Yoshitaka Amano is an amazing artist.
