First for KBD75

I'm sure this is the newest newfag question you guys see but what is the best, most inexpensive mechanical keyboard? It doesn't need lights or extra buttons or the bells and whistles.

>Taobao VE.A clone
Is there anywhere I can order this in North America?

Take a look at the Ducky Zero range. They don't have backlighting and other bullshit, but you get the build quality and they're good boards

How many keys do you need

Is there a more correct statement?

No.

Standard keyboard shit and a numpad.

I can't find anyone that's carrying this in stock.

11th for still waiting for F77

No.
Check taobao or aliexpress

get a tomoko for 50 bucks then

How to make these key caps work? Or does anyone know where to get a grey space bar with alps stabilizers instead of cherry?

mechanical keyboard?

changed arrows to numpad keys like the other user with fc660 since it looks better

Cute! I'm still waiting on my pok3r to come off backorder.
>tfw China was faster

Alright gents, I need a keyboard.

>$80 - $120
>USA
>I prefer cherry mx green but blue and white (not clear) are okay too
>Ansi
>100% or tenkeyless
>I need a backlight due to working in the dark a lot, a white backlight is preferred
>Fucking nada
Any advice?

A Ducky of your choice from mechanicalkeyboards.com

Elephone EleEnter Game1 or one of Motospeed's keyboards if you like blue switches. Motospeed's AliExpress store is at motospeed.aliexpress.com/store/2189208

These will cost you about $40.

Ignore that complete idiot who recommends Ducky Zero as a reply to "best, most inexpensive". It's either a shill or someone very bad at math or both.

Yep, the contrast looks way better, though one also has to lessen one's autism regarding profile mismatch.

>best, most inexpensive
Doesn't mean "dirt cheap and complete shit", like the link you posted.
Ducky make good keyboards, and the Zero is notably less expensive than the 'fully featured' ones. As such, you have to be a complete retard for thinking it doesn't fit the requirement

...

This is on many levels of douche

Hi, do you have guys any sort of "tier" or "recommended models" chart?

Looking to buy my first mechanical keyboard.
>Budget
$80-$110
>Location (continent at least)
U.S.
>Preferred switch type
Cherry Blue
>Layout
ANSI
>Form factor
Full
>Backlight
Prefer no backlight or very subdue backlight.
>Previous/current keyboards
One that came with my PC.

Some profile mismatch can be fine to help with blind typing far keys.

We only have a tier list for switches, which happens to be outdated.

Ducky brand is the easiest to suggest for fullsize. There are other options like filco, but they almost always use abs keycaps at a higher price point.

>Retro keyboard
>Rockstar
>H9 memegun that costs as much as an AR15

hi douchecannoe

Fuck off duckshill

What's the consensus here on the erogdox? I have an opportunity to get a mechanical keyboard for free of my choosing and I'm considering this one.

ergodox-ez.com/

anyone know any promocode for mechanicalkeyboards.com?

soy
this guy gets it
not him - you ever tried a ducky board? they're very well made and the stock pbt caps feel great.

I'm sorry you have awful taste and are bad at managing your money

Black, gray or silver case for Tada68? Default keycaps.

just tell them /mkg/ sent you :^)
only half of that post is true - whats your board

It's good, some babyhands people complain they can't reach the thumb keys though

You mean my keyboard? It's an old ass Razer Blackwidow I got for my birthday a long time ago.

How old? ~2012 with mx blue never failed me, even took a biiiiig drink of water once, all the keys and backlight still worked.
What's your beef with ducky though

Oh no I'm not the guy who hates ducky. I'm this guy .

Mine is a 2013 model. Still works fine. I've wanted something a little more featured but can't really justify the price for some extra lights.

> >I'm sorry you have awful taste and are bad at managing your money
>owns a fucking Razer keyboard that his mommy bought him
>somehow thinks Ducky is a bad brand when all they own is Greetech shit

Tell me this is bait.

Where can i find this setup? Looks beautiful.

>thats all the money left after buying an h9
lol

>Rockstar
I don't understand how anyone drinks that, it tastes like swallowing a kilogram of sugar.

is this a staggered layout?

Thoughts on taking a brown key mech keyboard to uni? I'd probably only use it in the library computer labs (not quiet areas) and during programming and networking labs.
I normally hate drawing attention to myself but this might be something I am willing to try (with care) to help with productivity and focus.
I have a feeling most of you will think it's a stupid and try-hard idea and talk me out of it though.

>most of you will think it's a stupid and try-hard idea
And i do. Might be distracting to others even if the area is not quiet.
Plus the look of your keyboard is not plain enough.

I dont get it why cant he bring a not usual looking keyboard to uni? If you type carefully its not that loud to bother others.

We live in a day and age where it's acceptable to chop off your dick and call yourself a women, and normies don't question it. No one is going to care if you bring your own keyboard.

>No one is going to care if you bring your own keyboard.
i will and i will call him nerd gaymur fag

I bring one of 5 different keyboards every single day hoping that someone will say something so that I can get my conflict fix.

Asking again, is a Qisan MagicForce 68 a good entry point?

Gateron browns, 59€, will be used only for typing.

sure

yes and it's wireless

and don't forget thinkpad x230

Are there rgb 60% pcbs other than gk64?
There was some shit called jm60 but seems like it was discontinued.

GH60

Zeal60 meme pcb

No it is not
Very expensive

Will it be retarded to get anne pro and just swap the case, keycaps and switches?

Yes it. There are several different versions since it is an open source PCB

Show me please. Wasn't able to find anything other than non-programmable shit.

This tbqh desu

KBDFans has one. They call it a different name tho. Something like RGB60

That's that non-programmable piece of shit they sold for some time then discontinued.

This is extremely pretentious and odd, like carrying a vinyl recorder as a "portable player".

GO FOR IT OR I WILL DO IT FOR YOU!!

What Gateron keyboards can you recommend that I can find in Europe?
I'm looking for something on the bigger side, TKL or even full size would work.
>budget
under 100 eur :3
>switch type
Brown?
>backlighting
With or without, dont care
>use
I am planning to gayme on it but also type and do some work :3

> :3
>Brown ?
Do some research and then go stick something in your anus fucking retard.

b-but user, I already have something up there :3

One day user

Fuck seems like swapping the case will be a pain in the ass, it's not perfectly compatible with other 60% cases.
On the other hand might be worth the effort since anne pro has such neat software.

Just make your own case

>want white rgb bluetooth tenkeyless
>white only comes in wired
>bluetooth comes in black
>get both because white was cheaper than getting keys separately

I also wanted to diy a bit with the keycaps, making them flatter.

Would be easier to ditch the rgb and get gh60

Just bought Ducky One as my first mechanical and went for the blue switch. It's not as loud as I think it would.
Pretty comfy than my shitty $10 membrane but the actuation weight is actually much less than I imagined it would be. I thought I would need to press blue switches harder to register but this ends up being easier on my fingers than membrane.
Planning to bring this to my office and see how it works out.

I'm also quite pleased about this keyboards' size. It ends up being pretty small and feel pretty compact because of the lack of bezels compared to standard keyboards, despite being full-sized. This is one I plan to give to my friend. Gonna drop some more cash for a TKL layout.

WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY PAIN IN THE ASS??!?!?!!

except you're the type of guy who go fullmetal alchemist

Meant swapping for an aluminum case. Who needs cancerous plastic chinkshit?

Then get the GK64.

If only the layout wasn't retarded.

is there any advantage having aluminium case over plastic case?

Professional, premium and artisanal feel to it :^

Dubs
It's perfectly fine to do what you think is best for you. You may/may not draw attention but honestly? People keep to themselves these days and won't bother you unless you invite them first. Times have sure changed user. You're not gonna get bullied by some 80's minded jock.

Also Brown switches are pretty decent for public use.

As in a "sharp" pain in the ass... If you know what I mean ;)

it's pure curiosity, so aluminium case giving superiority feeling without having any objective effect, except heavier weight?

what about sound, of typing feels?

>rubberdome for successful millionaires

Technically most millionaires don't use mech switches.

*keyboards

>what about sound, of typing feels
People say it does marginally affect that.

it effects the bottom out sound

are those qisan boards with the rounded keys actually functional? anyone have experience with them gaming or otherwise?

How do gateron reds compare to kailh box reds?

>mx blues
Your office mates will love it
Jokes aside very nice!

i have mx blues and my partners don't really like them, they sometimes throw paper balls at me and i did nothing to them :(

What shithole do you live in where you're not allowed to own a handgun?

A shithole with some of the lowest crime rates in the world.

Does it have a zero crime rate? Are there zero murders and zero physical assaults? If not, then the victims of those crimes probably would have been better off owning a gun.

>diz duz statics don't favor my argument will resort to an hypothetical situation
burger i feel sorry for your brain wash, not even the argument for insurrection is plausible... feel free to use them for entertainment all you want do
