has AMD just given up at this point?
Has AMD just given up at this point?
Use a real comparison website before claiming facts
Interesting crop job, OP.
A real thread died for this shit you call a thread, OP. Think about that while you go fuck yourself, thanks.
>literally real benchmarks
Except that the price has gone up because of demand. They're still selling more than 1070tis despite being that price.
I advise sage
>2 out of 3 is higher
u sure showed me
all prices have gone up equally, the bottom line is, AMD is literally asking the prices in the OP as MSRP vs the known competition out there
1070 has 1/4th of vega's hashrate for more than half the price, why would I pick that garbage?
>16 cores versus 6 cores
>6 cores win
What the fuck? And if you compare the 1950x against the equivalent Xeon, you get twice the threads for your money. Xeons are obsolete.
Over 70% higher, poo jew.
threaripper oc's to 4.7ghz?
d-dat's new to me.
awesome, but i'm legit too poor for one.
>Hashrate
It's best if you kill yourself now
are you mad that we have made quite some money, and you just waste your money to play games like an autist?
Everytime there's an Intel vs. AMD post that uses Userbenchmark, people conveniently leave out what's actually important about the 1950x > 8700k.
Again AMD vs Intel, NVIDIA Vs AMD.
Kys OP.
No they go up to 4, 4.2 or so with 1 core. That Best Bench guy is running a hefty overclock.
multicore does not matter, games are only made for 1-2 cores stupid AMD brainlet
unless you live in china where energy is free, nobody is coming out ahead of costs to mine, they're all just too fucking stupid to realize it, especially after they pay to convert it to real money they can use
Please let me suck your big juicy cock, my Intel master.
the subject is about AMD, whats your point?
>Computers are only used for games.
>look up ryzen or threadripper videos
>they're all showing gaming scores
Because majority of highstreet* consumers are people who play games.
*Non businesses buying one or two units.
Imagine how much intel wouldn't suck if they put as much effort into their products as they did into shilling and slinging shit at AMD. Intel are literally a joke.
>base computer purchases on gaming videos
>AMD is literally asking the prices in the OP as MSRP vs the known competition out there
AMD's GPU MSRP has never changed for any of their products.
AMD's CPU MSRP has gone down recently in anticipation of their next release.
>look up reviews of FX 2.0 series AMD cpu's
>HERES HOW IT DID IN THESE GAMES xD
>video was edited on an intel build
>trusted popular tech reviewer openly admits he'll continue using intel
>meltdown
Only a total idiot would buy an intel cpu before they've fixed this.
they are on life support at this point
>single thread performance
what year is this again?
>synthetic bench
2018 and is still most relevant thing for 90% people
It's probably weighing the single threaded performance higher than multithreaded.
>he thinks his computer only runs one thing at a time
...
how are single-threaded benchmarks relevant to 90% of people when modern operating systems spread workloads over 4+ threads without any issues?
In fact, in 2018, all non-legacy software is multicore optimized. what IS your point?
>1080p
the absolute state of AMD users right now
The point is that everyday a retard post a thread about Intel/AMD/NVIDIA ,where Sup Forums discuss about muh games.
as opposed to 640x480 benchmarks in Intel approved benchmarks?
The point of that image is to show how little CPU really matters in 99% of games. I can cherrypick a benchmark if you want though.
Graphs like this are more relevant since stuttering and freezing is much worse than being at 110fps rather than 120fps.
Bintel heading to the trash.
>n-n-no that doesn't count it's a real-world benchmark only artificial benchmarks count
>arma3 at 640x400.png
Wow intel really suffering on context switches and bandwidth, no wonder they bribe their shills to only show tight-loops that take advantage of their security shortcuts. Imagine how bad that stittering is now with the meltdown patches flushing cache every context switch....
p
>the absolute state of AMD users right now
What? 1080p actually favors Intel users. Lower resolutions are more CPU single thread intensive, so a higher clocked CPUs will perform better, making AMD at a disadvantage.
>rocket league
>any bit of AI that needs to be computed on-the-fly by the CPU
Mind you, that's if you computer still works after applying them anyway. It's hilarious that people are still buying those unsafe things.
>threadripper
>108% in gaming
That site is fucking retarded.
I'm sure all those 'tards will make sure to suck a big one and buy Intel's new "safe" chips. I bet they will make even more money forcing people to upgrade. They'll probably throw in a new socket to force you to buy a new motherboard too.,
And new 'secure' ram.
>it matters that shittily coded old game compiled with intel compiler that gimps code on AMD only runs at 170FPS vs 185FPS because muh single thread
>despite all game engines now being programmed for xbox and ps4 which are multicore AMD
Any game that is CPU bound in 2018 is pure trash programmed by incompetent fucktards.
>1k burger cpu
>games
aeiou lemmo
AMD doesn't suffer from meltdown. That's all that matters for me. Hence the Ratpoline patches cuck intel even further
Their CPU benchmarks calculation focus on lower threads, so even though real benchmarks are used, the results are still warped to higher IPC/clock speed combination.
If you compare a ~2GHz Xeon Platinum vs the i7 8700K that site will probably tell you the i7 is faster.
>games
how old are you, user?
>almost 3x more cores
>can barely score twice of a hexacore
They will never give up. Poos and poorfags will always but their shit.
>1070 Ti
>480 USD
Sure thing buddy
Intel is dead to me it doesn't matter what they sell. They are on my shitlist along with apple and Microsoft.
