High-rises

Am I the only one who loves this type of architecture? Hats off to China and the Koreas for mastering the art of the high-rises.

Fugen gummy blogs

These buildings are basically commieblocks on steroids.

Yes.

I grew up in Hong Kong and it sucks

But aren't they beautiful? Easy to build and efficient.

Nice! I lived in a shorter 'high-rise' in Korea (wasn't born there), but I couldn't help but admire the higher ones in Uijeongbu and Seoul.

Maybe you would like my city...

Not quite high enough, but a good start.

Its full of high-rises.

I grew up in Clearwater Bay which was relatively less densely populated. But my parents instilled in me from a young age that this kind of shoebox living was not in any way ideal. Needless to say they didn't stay in HK for any longer than necessary.

welcome to the socialist paradise of Toronto, comrade

I used to live in Singapore, tall apartments are great. They're not all the commieblock type buildings people imagine.

South Horizons here, I never had any problem with it. Flats were comfy if you knew what you were doing, and having everything so close together was great. I hate how spread out the UK is by comparison

Mate I live in London and I don't get this

I get where he's coning from. London doesn't feel like a proper city, in most of the residential parts it's just terraces or flats that are 4 floors tall at most. It makes it pretty inconvenient getting around

Mostly lived in oop north and in Scotland, only been to London a couple of times. It was better, but still annoyingly low-rise. Living there would be a pain

Shenzhen and HK are great when it comes to this
