Hello Sup Forums, I've used a pirated version of win7 Pro x64 for several years now. I've finnally decided to migrate to win10. I'm currently downloading Windows 10 Pro X64 Build 15063.
I wanted to ask if you had any tips to fellow pirate user who doesn't know shit in windows. (I just use it for the pirated vidya).
I heared you had to uninstall several things like windows update, or autorize windows to install and execute unsigned third party apps (for example cracked software). Also I heard you had a service that collects some user data and sends them to microsoft.
Any help would be apreciated, help me restore my comfy old win7 feeling. Thank you for your time :)
There's one thing you might want to remove. It's called windows 10.

Since you are pirating windows, it goes without saying, disable Windows Update in anyway possible. I've always used ShutUp10, but recently my friend's copy managed to update itself, so YMMV. Also, to get the old Start Menu back, use Classic Shell.

still cant get an ethernet cable connection between one Win7 and a Win10 machine the both are the same workgroup and see each other but when i try to browse the 7 share its always "network path not found" but i can browse the shares with my android. whats up dammit
Different user, but props to Valve for giving a damn. Too bad half of my library isn't native and that graphics drivers and GPU support on Linux are still hit or miss. WINE has come a long way, but can still feel like a project to get things running.
Some people just want to pick up and go, not spend their time fixing things that shouldn't be broken to begin with.

What it's doing as adding functionality that GNU/Linux devs didn't intend. For example, imagine putting a ps3 disk into an Xbox 360. It's not supposed to work because it wasn't designed for that. Running a .exe on GNU/Linux is kind of like that, except WINE is a compatibility layer that tries to make it possible.
So those things aren't "broken." It's more like they weren't designed for GNU/Linux in the first place. WINE just tries to emulate the experience, but it's pretty hit-or-miss, and understandably so since it's not the real thing. If you want the real thing, you should use the real thing. Stop putting ps3 disks in xboxes.
