One of its best selling points was simplicity. What made the original iPhone and earlier iterations great was that, in an era of complicated phones with keyboards and styluses, you could do the same things but with the push of one button.
Now? They over-complicated things. What the fuck is this? Why would I choose this over a fagdroid phone when I can get the same level of clusterfuck in a UI for half the price?
>> updates for 5 years
The first two updates are fine, the 3rd is ok, after that is dogshit because will slow down your phone
>> best camera on the market
False, Pixel 2 is
>> apps have higher quality
False, again.
>> resell value
I give you this
>Why should i buy an android """flagship""" if i can get an iPhone for the same price
More freedom, and better overall specs.
>iTunes only for backup
>720p display
>first two updates are good, then is pure shit
>no file manager or memory access
>700€ or gtfo
>no hardware choice
>no launcher choice
>3 core nigger cpu
>you look like a cuck just holding it in your hand
>Apple cloud doesn't work as it should, everytime I have to backup for some friend is like sticking a finger in my own ass
Instead of a flagship you could just get an older Android and realise you will more than likely never need the specs of the latest text machine
>Pixel 2
>Using an unoptimized mobile OS on a Google device
gay
>get a fagdroid
never. an older iPhone maybe.
>iTunes only for backup

I dont care that much about the specs but i want security updates
>better overall specs

Maybe if Android wasn't such an un-optimised mess, it would be alright.

I like how you focus on some iPhone bugs that probably got patched already, as if Android isn't a literal pajeet mess of Java with more security holes than swiss cheese.
>iTunes only for backup
they actually removed a lot of sync features from iTunes. it's all iCloud anyway
>720p display
iPhone X doesn't have this problem
>first two updates are good, then is pure shit
Not really.
>no file manager or memory access
Um there's the Files app sweetie.
>700€ or gtfo
more like 1000€
>no hardware choice
>no launcher choice
Apple already gave me the best.
>3 core nigger cpu
it's a phone, only 1 is really necessary
>you look like a non poorfag just holding it in your hand
>Apple cloud doesn't work as it should, everytime I have to backup for some friend is like sticking a finger in my own ass
works on my machine
iCloud backup is pretty ass though, never had it work properly. I'm dreading the restore it desperately needs especially since I'm getting a new battery today. Say a prayer to Steve for me.
Oh sorry I forgot about the other stuff, it's a long list.

The iPhone X has the best specs of any phone.
Nope only the A11 "outspecs" the snapdragon 835 but even then due to constant overheating and thermal throttling it loses to it in real world use.
webm related lagnote 8 vs iPhone X
Do this on your iPhone.
I'll wait the 10 years until Apple brings those features
It's amazing how much effort apple puts into suppressing news about their own phones exploding. How many billions do you think they pay fox to keep a lid on it?

It must be hard being so autistic that you keep these links around to shitpost with.
But that webm comes from a speed test which the iPhone X wins.
You have to be a serious fanboy to take a speed test which an iPhone wins, edit it to only include the segments where the note wins and then post that. Pic related is the overall result.
Not to mention the iPhone X has a better display and better camera than the note 8 according to displaymate and dxomark.

>But that webm comes from a speed test which the iPhone X wins.
That's literally what I said, it's fast. But due to constant overheating and thermal throttling it loses to the lagnote 8 in real world use. Also that test fails to mention the iPhone X did HW video encoding instead of SW encoding.
To top it all off the iPhone X does not have enough RAM so it has to constantly remove big apps from RAM and it only gets worse as app cache builds up. That's the main reason I avoided getting one and purchased a note 8 instead.
You can post individual stories. They prove nothing. The fact is overall, androids break more. Pic related.
But security is non-existant on iPhoned. Most of them can have their passcode bypassed with webm related method.
But the iPhone X WINS that test, you damn idiot. The note 8 takes 50% LONGER to complete the test. The fact is all android phones are limited by the snapdragon 835 which is just way behind the A11. Even the 845 on the Samsung S9 is slower.

Look all phones have problems but what makes apple special is they bribe companies hard like intel to divert attention from those problems. Apple should be issuing mass recalls of their defective phones but instead they're just trying to hide the problem like their did with bendgate, touchgate, antennagate, glitchgate, ect ect.

Keep revealing your mental illness, it's fun watching people spin out of control.
What is this even showing
It's amazing how fast the iPhone is. Too bad apple did a pisspoor job of implementing an effective thermal solution so the constant overheating and thermal throttling that happens only after a few minutes of use brings down performance to 50%>
>>> apps have higher quality
>False, again.
t. someone who has never been in the same room as an iPhone.
Google doesn't give a single fuck about what goes on in the Play Store as long as the app isn't (too) malicious and doesn't contain cp. It's a goddamned free-for-all over there. Sure, the App Store doesn't give you personalized recommendations but Apple polices the HELL out of it and will take apps down for little to no reason other than the fact that it doesn't fit their design standards. The result of this is a ubiquitous, well-optimized user experience with very little crashing. The same cannot be said about the Play Store on Android; Google is so lax about their own guidelines that even their apps don't always follow the rules.
Why would anyone read your spam when the statistics () show that androids have a higher failure rate than iPhones?
Smart people base opinions on statistics, brainlets like you base them on individual examples
Actually that test, as well as the one above in which the Note 8 was 50% slower lasted several minutes and the iPhone X was still much faster despite that.
im not installing shitty custom roms that drain the battery
How much is apple paying you? I wouldn't mind shilling for them if I could quit my dayjob. Do you always samefag this hard or do they give you multiple devices to hide that?

>More freedom, and better overall specs.
Here's the thing about specs; they lie. The Note 8's battery life is shorter than the iPhone 8 Plus' battery life despite the fact that the Note 8 sports a 3,300 mAh battery and the iPhone 8 Plus only has a measly 2,691 mAh cell.
So why does the iPhone 8 Plus beat the shit out of the Note 8 in terms of battery life?
It's because Samsung's TouchWizz, although prettier to look at this year, is not very well optimized for pretty much anything. This results in lag after 6 months and absolute shit battery performance. So when you see an Android phone that has "monster" specs, it's often not because the company loves its customers and wants them to have the best possible user experience. It's because the software demands it. Which isn't good.
Optimization is key, not specs.
>How much is apple paying you?
I'll tell you if you tell us how much Samshit/Jewgle are paying you first.
>samefag
>w-where my droidbros at?
>h-hello? anyone?
>Samsungfag
>bringing up explosions
>during a discussion about software quality
you can't make this shit up
Does this account for the fact that 90% of android phones are cheap Chinese shit? Apple doesn't give you the option.
>Does this account for the fact that 90% of android phones are cheap Chinese shit?

>android = samsung
retard
>buy a bugatti
>has no driving license
The same with ios.
Even if it had a Xeon you still wouldn't be able to do shit.
O fcourse not
At the end of the day, iPhones are better than androids if you can afford them. Better specs, better support, longer updates, lower failure rate, better apps etc
Where android shines is offering value on a budget.
>Files app
>cant even access internal storage. Only works with cloud shit
Not a true file manager faggot.
I'm saying if you spend a similar amount of money that it would cost to buy a base level iPhone on a high end android, the failure rates are probably comparable. Dumb nigger.
I never said that or even implied it.
I was trying to imply that the reason most Android devices have insanely packed specs is because the OEM is shit at making a skin that goes over Android without totally destroying it in the process.
I'm happy to admit that 'pure' Android devices (especially Marshmallow, Nougat and Oreo) have outstanding energy consumption. But unfortunately stock Android phones aren't popular.

> all you have are shitty mobile games while I can emulate GC, GBA, DS

>Better specs,
Literally no. Better performance on shittier specs, sure. But better specs? No.
You're never going to see a 42 MP camera on an iPhone. Not now, not ever.
>better support
This.
It's astounding to me that such a giant platform as Android still has little to no customer service at all.
This thread is about flagship androids.
Yes, better specs.
The iPhone X has the best camera of any phone apart from the pixel 2. There’s more to a camera than megapixels.
The iPhone X has by far the most processing power of any phone.
It has the best display too.
Wow for real?
Its almost like if 99% of android phones weren't 100$ phones.
At least they apologised and removed to phones from the market.
They didn't force people to swap chinkphone batteries for a special price.
>de facto standard rom
>better battery life than stock rom
ok
So buy an iPhone. Sell it if you don't like it instead of asking others who may not match your use case.
To me it's quite simple.
new iphone is around 1k$.
3 new android midranges models is 500$.
You can easily do 10 years with 3 midrange androids (3 years per phone) and can maybe do 5 years with iphone (not really tho..)
so for twice the price half the longevity is not a good deal to me.
Plus it's always nice to have an old phone laying around as a backup.
i don't game on my phone though. so maybe you 'need' an iphone for 'productivity'.
>The iPhone X has the best camera of any phone apart from the pixel 2. There’s more to a camera than megapixels.
Yeah, I know there are more to a camera than megapixels but the resulting images that come out of the iPhone X's camera are the result of proper software management, not the actual camera itself.
>The iPhone X has by far the most processing power of any phone.
Again, no. It doesn't have much sheer processing power but it is much faster and more stable than every other device out there because of how the software interacts with the processor.
>It has the best display too.
Come on, now.
It's dim and has a notch. And what the fuck is up with that aspect ratio?
I like the display but it's not the best out there. I like the iPhone X but it definitely doesn't have the best display ever built. Let's be reasonable.
Um its INTERNAL sweetie. iCloud Drive would be cloud.
>Sell it if you don't like it instead of asking others who may not match your use case.
This.
Why was this thread even made? Try it out and see; it's not that hard.
you can't run GNU/Linux on it
>using YouTube speed "tests" as an argument
user...stop.
It has the best camera. It has the most processing power. It has the best display.
But you literally can access internal storage.
There's a section of the Files app that says "On my phone." It's next to "iCloud."
You're just reiterating the things you've already said without changing or adding anything.
>Using pajeet tests that don't show behind the scenes how everything is calculated instead of using real world video taped tests
Macfag gtfo
A lot of people buy android flagships instead of iPhones an i wanted to know why
Yea right assembly code or gtfo
Production being lowered to 20 million, for iPhone x, I have an android, call me a poor fag or whatever but showing off your phone won't get you laid but having $$ spare instead of $1000 on a phone is more impressive to women.
Test
Oh boy another iGay vs lagdroid thread, so original.
>iGay
How is that a pun? I mean, the Lagdroid one kinda makes sense but what even is iGay?
This. Also aren't iPhones being associated with homosexuality recently?
not memeing btw
you thirdworlders are annoying as shit, its not about pussy, the fact you keep harping about that means apples marketing works.
apple devices are pretty secure and ios is well designed. android is a fucking nightmare, and google datamines every single one of your farts to give you more fastfood apps. no thanks.
Those buttons look like something you'd give to a senile grandparent who can't into words anymore.
The current CEO of apple is literally gay.
No I understand the homosexuality aspect of it. I mean how is it a pun? It doesn't really play off of anything. The 'lagdroid' one is kind of OK because it replaces a syllable in the name with the word 'lag,' but iGay doesn't really play off of anything. It's just kind of lazy; take the word "gay" and put "i" before it.
Pretty sad how Android phones are lucky to get updates after 1 year. It's no wonder e-waste bins are full of them. Fact is Android phones are depreciated before they launch
itt: android kiddies make stuff up about iPhone and pretend android phones are faster and more secure.
Yes but androids are used by lesbians
If you want the new update, just root your phone, it's not that hard. Even a baby could flash a custom ROM, wipe it and back it up every few weeks.
>trustung pajeets buggy xda rom
embarrassing
Interface, that has inconsistency even in its inconsistency.

I'd rather have throttling over phones that shut down at 30% with no warning. (see: every Nexus ever, every Galaxy S until S7)
It's like a contraction of "I am gay". The funny comes from the fact that tim cook came out as gay therefore the assumption that apple is "gay" turned out to be literally correct.
Anyway the joke is the users are of homosexual nature as well waiting to come out just like tim cook did.

Bought an 8+ a month ago after using solely Android ever since smartphones became a thing and I gotta say that it's hands down the best phone I ever used.
