>Linux has no games
Explain this then

Commit it.

Gladly, it is a quite enjoyable game.

Yeah also Steam

I hope you know I don't play games because I installed Linux for big boy activities.

civ5 runs fine under wine. yes, i know there's a linux version; i couldn't get it to work.

git commit sudoku
I don't get it.

Civ5 runs better out of Steam on Ubuntu (vanilla and MATE) than I've ever gotten it to run off Windows. Not once has the game crashed, and I like to play on extremely large maps with a lot of players.

How can a kernel have games?

Not as many games are supported.
Yes, WINE exists, but it takes time to set it up, and gives lower performance than just using Windows.

Linux has a lot of games in the google play store.

I know man! I checked my fresh install and noticed I had a "games" category. It had some freeware versions of popular classic Windows games. You lied to me Sup Forums

>Not as many games
>Literally thousands of games on steam for linux

There are 2649 confirmed games that work on linux according to steamdb, and there is at least 15624 games total, most of which will work on windows.
Do you really not understand this? Through some simple mathematics, I have deduced that less games are compatible for Linux than for Windows.

So, there are games in linux. Case closed.

you forgot super tux kart

google sepukku

Vulcan needs to catch on more.

I play roguelikes I have no problems with linux support.

Is there any way to get linix r9 run direct x?

Linux is the game

Easily.

You're a retard

>lower performance
nigga do you even know how wine works

Wine will get your PC drunk, and that makes it slow.

so what? more than 2600 works, that's enough for me

You are a retard.

who asked about proportion, it HAS games and number is increasing
also, who installs Linux for gaming? Linux is mostly used for productivity tasks

literally nonfree software

the support for subwindows in angband variants is pretty ass, compared to what you can get on windows
wine works fine though

Shit like Minecraft (written in Memejava) works twice as fast on Linux, than on Windows.

But does that 2600 include the ones you want to play?

I bought a Chinese handheld game player that came with a multicart once. 777,777 games I think it was, and all of them shit.

>Linux for productivity

Works on my machine faggot

Ironically, Linux can run more windows games than any 1 version of windows, thanks to wine.
