My asus h170m plus motherboard doesn't let me into bios or boot into anything. It tells me to press f1 and tales me to bios flash application. The application has internet and usb update options, neither work. Clearing cmos doesn't fix anything either.
First time using it, it was new so idk what's up.
Connor Watson
RMA, retard
Liam Lee
That's the plan if I can't fix it. But asus customer service sucks ass so I rather not deal with them.
Jack Watson
then flash the bios, what's so difficult to understand retard
William Cox
Can you read? It doesn't want to flash.
Colton Wood
Isnt delete for Asus boards tho? why are you pressing f1?
Hudson Evans
are you using a usb drive? is it fat32? do you even have the correct file?
Isaac Fisher
Before this screen, it says del/f2 for bios settings, but it ignores input anddoesn go to bios settings. It goes to this screen instead.
Cooper Nguyen
Yes, yes and yes. I even tried different versions of the bios file, all from the product page on asus' website. Tried multiple fat32 usb sticks too.
Ryan Rivera
user is right. Use the BIOS flashback. You fucking retard. Read the manual on how to do it on ASUS boards. There is a button on the back of your motherboard.
Cameron Hughes
Oh you bought some shit board without that feature.
Bentley Kelly
I have the same problem as yours, but mine gives the message of "System verification failed".
Googling it didn't even help surprisingly.
Nathaniel Myers
Learn to read. Asus crashfree is nonsense and broken
Matthew Martin
What size drive? Asus rep told me if you flash with anything larger than an 8gb drive you'll have issues flashing. I used a 32gb drive once and the flash failed and ruined the board.
Oliver Roberts
:D
Angel Richardson
4gb, also that repfag is full of shit
Charles Walker
Try a PS/2 Keyboard, if your motherboard has a port for it.
Nathan Long
Keyboard works fine, mouse too. That's how I get to that screen
Henry Butler
Was the initial flash on the 4gb?
Adrian Butler
The initial flash it wanted to "continue" is nonexistent. I got that screen the first time I booted up. Idk why. But my first attempt after that was indeed on 4gb fat32.
Gavin Green
Your chip is fucked tell Asus to replace it when you do an RMA. I sent a z170 board to them for that exact reason and they sent it back to me still broken because they just reflashed it and assumed it worked.
