>tail -F instead of tailf in 2018

>thiese are the types of people who can easily steal your password
LMAO

nice going BSD im seeing your dead soon enough

>have to have root access

Wow it's fucking nothing.

Literally dis.
Also nothing personal but nobody will even try to pretend be jaker in some years.

>be debugging tool
>be source of many bugs
dtrace is literally kernel backdoor as a feature

this is a biological woman? my feminine penis radar is going mad

This only happens when you type your password into a window in a desktop environment/running graphical server right?
Changing to a tty (if that is a thing in BSD) and logging in is immune?

If so this does not sound too new to me but it is still worth being aware of
if not then it is pretty wow

>wow, a woma-

Um. A process is a process. If you can debug a process, you can debug a process.

How the fuck an OS is "Redpilled"?

Yeah, it seems like kind of a stretch. I mean, wouldn't you just assume you could you could do this? Maybe I'm missing something here.

Anything reddit touches is redpilled, in their minds.

yeah but stuff run under a desktop session kind of has an easier time inspecting eacother vs a process run separately (unless the system has literally no separation at all?)

An OS is redpilled when no females are willing to get anywhere near it.

>unless the system has literally no separation at all
Bebugging ultimately goes through the kernel, which sees the address space of every program. If you have the permission to debug a pid then you too can do that, and that's kind of the point.

Nope. He's a tranny named Devin Teske. Look him up ffs. He's been a """woman""" for a few years. Why haven't you realised that being transgender instantly makes you better than everyone else at computers. Getting my dick removed next year for job.

I see
thanks

>Why haven't you realised that being transgender instantly makes you better than everyone else at computers.
No, it's being male.
Otherwise there would be tons of skilled FtMs, and yet there has been like one female who could into computers ever.

probably the hormones wreck your sex drive, without the distraction of whores you become like a hyper-focused and competent eunuch

>needing a separate command to do what the first one already does in 2018

>using deprecated software in 2018

tailf is specific to Linux. IIRC, it's right there in the fucking man page.

I'd say the operating system becomes pretty redpilled when womyn freebleed all over it.

Pretty cool.

That's a fucking man.

#1 looks like a fucking man

#2 hacked FreeBSD

100% proof that's a fucking man.

Why are so many trannies getting into technology? Fucking hell it makes me not want to ever start a business. I would absolutely REFUSE to hire these cretins.

>Why are so many trannies getting into technology?
xenoestrogens, floride, MKYouTubeULTRA and cia niggers.
>Fucking hell it makes me not want to ever start a business. I would absolutely REFUSE to hire these cretins.
Murica!

Of course not. You just need to look at that car crash to figure that one out.

>people with root can cause serious damage
more news at 11

Protip: root could also just replace your shell/ssh/sshd binaries with versions that log all input. This convoluted shit is 100% pointless

>You need root privileges.
>You need root privileges.
>You need root privileges.

Holy shit the Administrator of the system can see your password.

>I would absolutely REFUSE to hire these cretins.
It's illegal.
>xenoestrogens, floride, MKYouTubeULTRA and cia niggers.
No, just autism.
>Murica!
No, my understanding is that it's /especially/ illegal in "Murica".

linkedin profile

Also a devry grad!

it's almost like nobody bothers contributing to *BSD

You know he's a dude right?

>It's illegal.
I can refuse to hire anyone i want for any reasons i deem fit. The point is you cant tell them why, you give them a generic response that covers various things that could be why they weren't hired

t. doing this over 30 years with niggers

>stealing/hijacking passwords from sudo
what did she mean by this?

>she

It's called affirmative action. They need to hire a tranny to be diverse. Tranny has nothing of value to offer. Wow look out patriarchy you can change passwords from root. Check out this new vulnerability. See girls are smart too you dumb white males.

>have to be root
Lincucks literally grasping at straws at this point.

Oh shit, i read further. Sorry, i thougth it was an ugly woman, turns out its a hideous man...

I am still curious as to what "stealing/hijacking passwords from sudo" means.
I'm no Sup Forumsentoooman but wtf is this?

It says in her description that she's a woman. Learn to read you dumb nigger.

Didn't mean to offend your gf (male) mate.

Lol it's obviously a dude

Trannies are not getting into technology. Technology is 99% male and because an increasing number of males are turning into freaks thanks to Jewish indoctrination, some happen to be in IT.

wtf i hate dtrace now

How about this one?

OpenBSD does not have this problem because it schewed dtrace for exactly this reason.

According to his twitter he is married and lesbian.
Is transfaggotry just a way for incel men to sleep with progressive women?

>no features, the OS

>Physical access

No shit.

If some organization (like SPLC) does an investigation on you, you're fucked.

Turns out, you can't have vulnerabilities in code you don't have. I wouldn't be surprised if they back out of FUSE soon-ish, too.

multithreading is just a performance hack anyway

>Trannie figures out how to use root on BSD
>News at 11

"Features" aren't that important when you're a router or a firewall, security is. That's why OpenBSD is the OS of choice for network infrastructure applications.

>single-core implementation of pf
Right.

>OpenBSD is the OS of choice for network infrastructure applications.
That's FreeBSD and its forks.

>I have no remote fucking idea how an OS works
PF runs in kernel space, you nigger. It's as fast as it can possibly get.
Watch 5:17 on.
youtube.com/watch?t=5m17s&v=mOv62lBdlXU

openbsd really is hampered by its kernel not being super mp-aware

it's not like it doesn't use extra cores at all, but there are a lot of bottlenecks, including in the network stack. it's a thorny problem that they've been making progress on but haven't eliminated yet

the fact that openbsd tops out under 5Gbps on a 10G card is unfortunate. it doesn't change the fact that it's an awesome os with great security and a phenomenal interface, but it's a real problem

the devs aren't so sensitive they can't admit places where openbsd is not perfect

oh, and believe or not, one of the companies improving openbsd in this respect, including upstreaming their patches, is oracle

yes, really

Thats definitely a woman are you blind or something. Doesn't even remotely look like a man

>runDisney fan. FreeBSD >base/kernel/DTrace/ports/jail/vnet developer. ?>@smule_officials. SF Bay Area. InfosecWomen. >Crypto/Privacy. Polyglot. Married. . Vegan

jesus fucking christ

>Wow having root access gives u transgender power!!
This freak of nature should be in an asylum.

Not sure what it's getting at. If you have root on a host you can trace any process. Truss/strace can do the same.

>if you su on a base OpenBSD install you can get root and pwnd if you know the password

10Gb is not really something I'd be using commodity for even today. Especially considering the offload for that kind of bandwidth was the main chink that resulted in spectre v1.

Are you a fucking idiot? PF on a single core is limited to about 2 or 3 GBps because the kernel is flooded with interrupts.
Meanwhile Linux and FreeBSD can scale network traffic with cores.

How many of the women BSD committers are men? Is it all of them?

I think they have a few real women.

I would.

>freebsd
1/10 post, made me reply

No fucking way.

Also this.

>OpenBSD is "more secure"
>hit by Meltdown, Spectre 1/2, Krack, Heartbleed, BlueBorne, IME, AMT, and all the other major vulns/exploits of 2016-2017

In closing:
>*BSD
>Can't use Jails..
>"Secure"
>Can't use OpenZFS
>Even Linux has OpenZFS for 2.6-4.15 now

Worse than FreeBSD and Linux...
Better than neither!

*BSD's already have barely any modern hardware support or program support.
What even use a variation if it isn't FreeBSD!?

Reading them from its memory.
So howcome Plan 9 gets unbroken security without giving up multi-core?

literally worse the High Sierra

encyclopediadramatica.rs/Randi_Harper
they finally ballsed up and kicked her out IIRC, after she went ott sjw (she always was, but gradually got more cray)

is the author of this exploit a tranny?

I hope this is b8 because otherwise Sup Forums is done for.

>OpenBSD is "more secure"
>hit by Meltdown, Spectre 1/2, Krack, Heartbleed, BlueBorne, IME, AMT, and all the other major vulns/exploits of 2016-2017
Do you have brain damage? Half of the things you listed are outside the reach of *ANY* OS developers. Like, what the fuck is OpenBSD supposed to do against a "security" chip running in ring -1 that Intel botched basic security on?

>*BSD
>Can't use Jails..
These are valid concerns.

>"Secure"
Compared to what? Windows, macOS, FreeBSD? Yes.
Linux? Debatable.

>Can't use OpenZFS
That's actually a plus. ZFS is garbage fire.

>Even Linux has OpenZFS for 2.6-4.15 now
And it's alpha-quality garbage that breaks if you look at it funny, Hope you have backups.

>Worse than FreeBSD
vez.mrsk.me/freebsd-defaults.txt

>What even use a variation if it isn't FreeBSD!?
Because FreeBSD is the Windows of BSDs.

pretty hilarious that there's more trannies in tech than women in tech

Is it REALLY an exploit if you have full system root access?

openbsd too?

>exploit
You mean normal functionality for any operating system.

>stealing passwords like some kind of haxxer
>with dtrace
what the fuck
mental illness

>I can run a keylogger if I have root
Trannies have the same lack of talent real women have. Leah Rowe must be some kid of savant.

blep

no, the author of sudo is not a tranny

wow, you can steal other user's password as root. Who would know.
Linuxtards are the wintards of the Unix world, it's embarrassing.

What do you expect out of a devry university grad?
It's even more scary that they gave that thing a FreeBSD kernel maintainer key.

When we say BSD, we really mean OpenBSD.

>encyclopediadramatica.rs/Randi_Harper
>Randi Harper AKA "sektie", "freeBSDgirl", "sektorgrrl", "sekt0rgrl", "miSSpIgGy", "taniane" or "PMS Randi" (among other sockpuppet irc aliases) is a batshit insane meth addict, attention whore, troll, cyberbully, regular bully, prolific online harasser, professed HFA sufferer, and admitted child pornography manufacturer that was forced to resign from Yahoo! where she railed meth in the bathrooms, played WoW and cybered at her desk all day.

kek

but Sup Forums prefers free as in freedom over open source

one that screams and cries himself to sleep every night

openbsd is free as in freedom though

>twitter.com/freebsdfrau/status/959937849960185856
if {{{ THEY }}} cant get more women into tech then they'll get more {{{ WOMEN }}} into tech

>letting mentally ill people near a computer

THEOBSD BTFO HOW WILL THEY EVER RECOVER

Before the term 'computer' was redefined to a machine that computes, it was an actual job done by a lot of women. No I'm not a feminist either, if I'm wrong correct me lol

Read Neville Shute's book "Sliderule".
It's the story of his time at Airspeed Aircraft in the UK between the wars.
He documents the failure of the airship R-101.
Oh, and he mentions the people who fulfilled the "computer" role back then.
He also wrote "On the Beach", filmed by Stanley Kramer.
