Where do you niggas download music?

how do I share a folder from windows using a password? my win account has no password (it's a local account) but I want to protect the network share with a password

>The images dont match the real product
>Literally removes VRM and MOSFET cooling in a motherboard with a fucking AMD high end CPU
Never change OEMs, that motherboard will die eventually but you can always buy a new one.
The GPU is the only thing that makes that worth it.
SSD is 2D NAND which you should avoid, also 120GB SSDs are gimped as fuck when it comes to durability and speed, with 3D NAND is not a problem but with 2D NAND it is.

I don't understand stacks.

Is it a local thing, specific to an array/struct? I'll just look examples

Just use windows Homegroup it allows the computers to join it to access files but it gives you a unique password you have to input on each computer before they can connect.

Think of it as a linear set wherein only the most recent addition to the set can be modified.

Should I delete my JAVs?

Host pls

the public library
they have whole shelves of music

stacks as a datastructure or stacks as a architecture detail?
either way it's analogous to a pile of plates

Is antivirus still useful on >current year?

Sorry, I'm not uploading 500 videos on the offchance you don't have one, especially when I'm considering deleting it for shit I actually want to watch. And I really don't want to spend hours organizing jack off material.

maybe. windows defender is probably good enough.

Make a torrent?
Buy a used 2.5" HDD for $10-20 and move it there?

>Buy a used 2.5" HDD for $10-20 and move it there?
That's not a bad idea for archival so I don't have to go hunting again if I want an obscure one, but half the problem that I'm at three external hard drives already and don't want to buy another.

I understand the the only real way to get better at programming is to actually write code instead of reading 9001 python tutorials.

Any resource out there for "fun" beginner python coding projects?

pic unrelated

But with 2.5" you just toss them in a drawer and dont take much space, its not like you consider it important if you are planning to delete it.

wouldn't a 3.5" be cheaper?
2.5" HDDs are made for laptops

New? yes.
Used? no.

please show me a 1.28TB+ 2.5" HDD you can buy for $10-20

ebay.com/itm/Western-Digital-Caviar-Green-1-5TB-Internal-3-5-Desktop-Hard-Drive-WD15EARS/263467574393

>Auction still in progress
Now show sold listings, faggot.

can we expect an abundance of cheap graphics cards soon, due to the fall of certain virtual currencies?

point is that 2.5" hdds have technology that keeps them from fucking up when moved around in a laptop. 3.5" are going to be cheaper.

Even better. When the bubble pops and the crypto market takes a freefall dip followed by a prolonged recession tons of bandwagoners will try to recoup the losses their energy sucking mining rigs will then be running at by selling them off at cost

will these cards be most likely fucked?

I don't see why they would be so long as the prior owners weren't retards and had adequate cooling and normal clocking

so I'm a brainlet running void with i3. since it uses runit, what system mode commands would i use to logout and shutdown and shit. also, how do I get multiple monitors set up. what packages should i use. if someone could send me to any links or anything that would be cool.

log out depends on your desktop environment, afiak i3 is a window manager, so you probably don't have a log out

shutdown would be simply shutdown or poweroff

Just install an easier to use distro like Xubuntu and save yourself the headache

The current fashion is for undervolting to reduce power. Recent cards should hopefully be fine.

no, there's no joy in python

NO. Stop asking. Asking won't make it happen sooner. Just watch the fucking market.

i always get this on youtube with new videos how can i deal with it should i use chrome?

Switch to firefox.

I forgot that about login. anyways, would that mean that shutdown is "exec shutdown" then. would it still be advisable to create a system mode bindsym for i3?

why would I abandon my preferred distro for one small problem. i can handle it just fine I just don't know what package I should use for multiple screens and google isn't being too helpful.

deezloader-reborn, soulseek-qt, private trackers, and the occasional hipster sharethread on Sup Forums

Vivaldi? If so just switch to FF (no meme forks) or chromium

so you reckon they'll keep their rigs to mine bitcoin even when its dropped to its real value? ill ask whatever i want its a free messageboard lol

>would it still be advisable to create a system mode bindsym for i3?
I wouldn't know. I wouldn't use a window manager without a desktop environment.
>what package I should use for multiple screens
try a DE, seriously, save yourself some headache. If you must go without, then use something like SDDM to login/logout and manually configure your X settings for multiple monitors.

do you ever watch them?

So I've just built a computer and everything seems to be working fine apart from the internet. I can only connect it with a wire, but whenever I try I get a 169 ip address and it doesn't connect. My wifi works fine on a separate computer, but wired is a no go and I've just installed the updated LAN drivers so it isn't that they're old.
I have the feeling it's a really simple fix, but I just can't for the life of me find it. Before that I was getting the 651 error, but I think that was because I was trying to connect to a network rather than directly. Does anyone know what is up with it?

oh no sorry, my login screen is tty1. i just emptily minded mentioned that to specify that i was talking about the system mode shit in i3. that answers my question though, x settings. thank you

In deluge, it it possible to export my list of torrents? I would like to switch to qbittorrent but only if I can actually do so quickly instead of having to manually copy over each torrent one-at-a-time

is an i9 useful for gaming? or is it just a meme?

if you saved your .torrent files then it shouldn't be too hard to move. I don't know if deluge can export torrent files. perhaps it saved them in a directory somewhere?

just a meme
watch any streamer with an i9, they still bitch all day about games stuttering and network lag issues

I have Win 10 and I cannot connect to internet. Troubleshoot spat back "Wifi doesn't have valid IP configuration." I tried resetting TCP/IP with netsh int ip reset and all variations in cmd to no avail. Tried toggling TCP/IPv4 & 6 on and off with restarts to no avail. Pinging my router spits back "No device found" in cmd. Tried manually setting TCP/IPv4 to default router config. Diagnosing network adapter comes back with "drivers are updated." Clean boot with only default sys processes and services enabled, nothing. Uninstalled and reinstalled wireless adapter driver, no such luck.

Anybody have similar problems and what did you do to fix it? Is this common? I'm getting really frustrated and starting to come to my wits end on this.

i just hit my terminal and type 'reboot' or 'shutdown -h now'

logout is $mod+Shift+e unless you specified something else in your config.

>try a DE, seriously, save yourself some headache.
fukin brainlets

In my experience that's an issue on the modem/router side.

I need to move my partitions and gparted gives me a gpu error.
What other options do I have?

We may be having the same problem, although i'm not too sure.

have you ever tried GNOME? it's fucking brilliant and smooth. IDK why anybody would use anything else. It's fat but who the fuck doesn't have modern hardware anyway

Idk if this is a stupid question or not, but i need help none the less. Pic related.

The plastic arch piece on my key fob broke off and now cant be held on a key ring. I have an identical, spare key fob, but its not programed to my car.

Is there a way to transfer the interal contents of the broken one into the spare one successfully so that i can place it back on my key ring?

Am i over thinking this? Is there an easier solution? I dont want to take it to the stealership to program the spare because its like $150.

Thanks.

Can I use pastebin for typing code?

My other devices can connect to wireless just fine and exhibit no problems. Do you think the driver in my affected laptop is suffering from signal interference or is it possible that there are corrupted/unutilized ports on the router config? How would you go about solving a router issue like this?

Thank you for responding.

Google how to program key fob for "year brand model" car.

use xrandr or gui frontend such as arandr to do multiple monitors.

in your i3 config file you can:
set $MONITOR1 HDMI-0
set $MONITOR2 DVI-I-0

where HDMI-0 and DVI-I-0 are what xrandr shows.
and then you can do shit like
workspace 1 output $MONITOR1
workspace 2 output $MONITOR2
...
bar {
font pango: Mono Bold 8
mode dock
position top
output $MONITOR1
status_command "youri3statuscommand"
tray_output $MONITOR1
}

you can also bindsym to run different xrandr commands to switch between different monitor layouts (useful for switching between single/dual monitor on laptop)

Honestly, I would just epoxy resin a small washer or a small metal ring to the fob, but then again i'm ghetto as fuck so it would be wise to disregard my advice.

t. guy who zip-tied his front bumper to his car because he couldn't be arsed to by the manufacturers plugs.

I've just read your post and thought the same thing. It's definitely very similar. I've been unironically trying to solve it since about 3pm and it's just after midnight now. I think I'm going to ring my ISP tomorrow and see what they have to say because I've seen a few people say they've had satisfaction by doing that. Did you ever get the Error 651?

Just Google how to do it. Literally takes less than a minute. It's normally something like turning the key part way around and pressing a button on the fob.

nope i use firefox i guess i will just stick to mpv + youtube-dl fuck youtube

Please advise where I can buy a 1.5 TB or larger 2.5" drive for $10-20.

Sadly I have not experienced such an error, but the solutions people are offering in forums for your problem are similar solutions to the problem I am having. I'll keep you up to speed if I have a breakthrough.

>used hard disk
>no SMART report
nigga...

Obvious bait, but I'll bite.
>IDK why anybody would use anything else.
because you are a brainlet, because literally every other DE is superior.

thanks for the

>constant updates and bugfixes

what do I know anyway
t. brainlet

guess that's what you get when you want a sub $20 HDD > 1.28 TB

I had the same "no device found" in CMD when I had the 651 error, but then it seemed to disappear after that and just give me the meme 169 ip bullshit instead. I've seen people saying it's to do with the DHCP denying incoming connections or something, but I don't think I'll check that out until tomorrow. For some reason I can't log into my router either, like through the IP address, but I don't think that's related. I also saw a few people had solved the issue by hard resetting the router/hub/whatever so I'll probably give that a go tomorrow too before I ring them.
Thanks dude, I'll do the same if anything comes up because I'm still searching for potential solutions even though I'm not physically trying to solve it atm.

Does anyone here have a less than 1080p monitor?
I want a second one but I don't know how much of a step down a sub-1080 monitor would be.

>integrated with the best software
>wayland
unironically, lol

>literally just press the windows key and start typing what I want
>tons of plugins for customizing
Are you implying that KDE cannot do all those things?

my external hdd isn't connecting to my new laptop. when i plug it in the hdd is clearly on but it doesn't show up on my pc at all.

laptop im using is a inspiron 7577, it has usb 3.0 ports but the thing is i hooked up my hdd to an inspiron 7567 a few weeks ago that also has usb 3.0 and it connected with no issues. im installing windows updates now and hoping that fixes it lol

Kde crashes too much. Dunno what's wrong with me. Shit I use pulls Gnome dependencies anyway

Hard resetting your router will likely not solve it, but hey, always worth a shot.

I am setting up email for my V.Small business, I own 4 domains :

domain1.co.uk
domain1.com
domain2.co.uk
domain2.com

How do I make it so they all share an inbox, for example I want emails to [email protected] to go to the same inbox as [email protected]. All domains are 1&1 if that makes a difference.

whats a computer?

I doubt it too desu, but I can't even log in the hub to check its settings so I guess I need to do it anyway.

That's some pretty complicated shit. What mail server software? I suppose postfix can do this with aliases

Do I gain any anonymity paying for my VPN through bitcoin, vs. using a debit card? I see recommendations to only pay through anonymous methods, but I don't understand where the added security/anonymity comes into play. Assuming my VPN is not logging who does it matter? All paying with a card does is show that I've paid for a VPN, right?

It's ok I think it can mostly be done in 1&1, if you create an account with a * so *@domain1.com, it will make a "Catch all" mailbox

So the Ryzen 5 2400G should be superior in both CPU and GPU performance to a G4560 + GT 1030 right?

Is it better to use OSPF for internal routing and have your external use BGP?

Is it bad to leave a computer display on all the time or at least an hour? I have my display set to turn off after 10 minutes of inactivity, but I don't like the idea of my monitor turning on and off all the time

>All paying with a card does is show that I've paid for a VPN, right?
Yes, which is the problem.

I recently bought a refurbished laptop with Windows 10 on it. It arrived today, and I fired it up to realize Windows hasn't been activated. Is there a way I can find the product key, or do I need to pirate Windows?

did you check on the bottom of the laptop?

Just pirate it, Microshill won't care so long as they cn collect information from you and sell it to advertisers.

Beyond maximizing security does the simple fact that I used a given VPN open up any further information?

no, crt and some plasma displays can burn in if left displaying the same image for long period of time

I guess it depends on what you're using the VPN for. While it's not really a piece of evidence for anything on its own, if the police suspect you're watching CP online and they find out you have been using a VPN for the past year they'll know they're on the right track and keep investigating.

cs 1.6 runs like shit(30 fps)in wine how do i fix it. Steam version runs fine

What's a good way to improve my typing speed from 90 with 95% accuracy to 120 with 100?

Shouldn't there be one of those scratch off Microsoft stickers? Yeah, there isn't one

A lot of the time they're on the bottom, but get rubbed off because, unbelievably, people use them on their lap. I'm sure this is just pure coincidence on Microsoft's part and it isn't to force you to buy another copy of Windows because they completely refuse to help you if you have this issue. Just do what says desu

Is using a VPN sufficiently uncommon that someone would even think twice of it? I thought it became full normie level when Freshmen at college were using VPN phone apps to get to pornhub.

I'm on holidays, yet my Google searches/websites I visit give me results as if I were there and not here. What's the reason for this?

(((Google)))

>had to take my nephews PC to work on it
>drop it off today
>my nephew complains that the screen resolution is off and his mouse input is incorrect in games
>tfw

What could be causing this? I've never come across this issue myself, so I'd like some input on what I'm getting involved with.

Do higher wattage PSUs have longer lifespans

>use opengl
