Windows 10 LTSB

Where do you get W10 LTSB?

I have a thumb Windows 10 LTSB that I successfully used to install the system. Now it's time for a reinstall (trial ended) but when I boot on it I get a blue screen saying the PC needs a recovery with no options to proceed. Error code 0xc0000225.

So I go to microsoft.com/en-us/evalcenter/evaluate-windows-10-enterprise to get another copy and select LTSB 64 bit. It sends me to a 404 page. -> care.dlservice.microsoft.com/dl/download/1/B/F/1BFE5194-5951-452C-B62C-B2F667F9B86D/14393.0.160715-1616.RS1_RELEASE_CLIENTENTERPRISE_S_EVAL_X64FRE_EN-US.ISO

I clicked a few of the others and they're also 404.

So where do you get it nowadays?

I want a fresh install any way for performance reasons.

haha buy home edition fgt

Nah it's full of spyware.

You really think you're that important?

It's pretty naive for you to think Enterprise also isn't full of spyware.

All editions have spyware and the thousands of tools that claim to remove it work the same way if you run them through wine (meaning they're literal placebos and possibly malware themselves)

It's the best we've got short of Temple OS.
I manage a lot of crypto and some high profile political stuff, not taking any chances.

This thread is a waste of time

Just make a Home edition thread and have fun. Not interested.

LTSB is placebo that also tends to be buggy because of features stripped out of it
use regular Enterprise instead

Not interested.

Ho-hum fair enough.
I tried downloading the evaluation iso, the link works here user. Maybe clear your cache and reboot the router?

Runs like shit on my 2600k... As did early builds of 10. Will probably move to LTSB 2019 though once win7 "EOL" occurs.

Don't use the trial ISO, you need to use an ISO of the commercial release from a torrent or somesuch.

For lsbn has been the most stable, creators update is a mess

You buy it from Microsoft, Pajeet.

>Instead of going for shellcode execution, it overwrites the SMB connection session

If I'm not where's option to opt out?

So is there a tool to clean up the Windows 10 inbuilt spyware yet or is still using you for telemetry and scanning your HDD?

ON ALL PIRATE SITES

can I install it if I have win 10 Pro license?

LTSB has the option to turn off the telemetry to the lowest level, in which Microsoft claims that they collect only extremely basic information. You can do this via group policy. You can also turn off forced updates and restarts.

This, along with blocking the telemetry connections in your firewall, is probably the best we can do on W10 in regards to maintaining our privacy.

To be honest, though, the best part of LTSB is that it doesn't come with nearly as much bloatshit. It's pretty light and doesn't use too much resources. For windows, anyway.

My LTSB can run a day without connecting to any ip's I don't know. Minimum telemetry settings only sends crash data.

They are vague about what they colect on basic.
