I have a thumb Windows 10 LTSB that I successfully used to install the system. Now it's time for a reinstall (trial ended) but when I boot on it I get a blue screen saying the PC needs a recovery with no options to proceed. Error code 0xc0000225.
I want a fresh install any way for performance reasons.

Nah it's full of spyware.

You really think you're that important?

It's pretty naive for you to think Enterprise also isn't full of spyware.

All editions have spyware and the thousands of tools that claim to remove it work the same way if you run them through wine (meaning they're literal placebos and possibly malware themselves)

It's the best we've got short of Temple OS. I manage a lot of crypto and some high profile political stuff, not taking any chances.
LTSB has the option to turn off the telemetry to the lowest level, in which Microsoft claims that they collect only extremely basic information. You can do this via group policy. You can also turn off forced updates and restarts.
This, along with blocking the telemetry connections in your firewall, is probably the best we can do on W10 in regards to maintaining our privacy.
To be honest, though, the best part of LTSB is that it doesn't come with nearly as much bloatshit. It's pretty light and doesn't use too much resources. For windows, anyway.

My LTSB can run a day without connecting to any ip's I don't know. Minimum telemetry settings only sends crash data.
