I actually liked this sonh more than anything in TKOL and half of the stuff in HTTT.

I can't help but get goosebumps when the synth bass kicks in.

I agree. Its fucking great.

shill hour in here

*witching hour

" e e e e eee eeeeeee Sony Bravia aeaeaeaeaaa"

Back to Sup Forums

>implying people need to shill radiohead

you probably unironically believe that have a nice life virals their releases

why are radiohead so based?

no matter how hard I try I can't grow out of them

underage and memetards are sleeping, lett's have a real talk about radiohead now, this songs was 7/10 to me, pretty solid, i liked it since the first moment, but i'm still waiting for the real shit

Really hope that isn't on the new album. The song is okay but nothing special.

I am really addicted to the song, pretty much agrre with everything Fantano said on his review and I am pretty hyped for LP9. Disappointed that they didn't announce it with the new single really.

sounds like a mix of OKC and amnesiac, my two favorite RH albums

very hype

This. i actually enjoy the song but i want lp9 to be more experimental

to me sounds like HttT, i'm fyped as fuck too, too bad neo Sup Forums is shit

>tfw you have to wait like a fucking month for lp9

A secret part of me actually wants to Radiohead to make a poppy Coldplay/AM style album just so spoiled teen girls can go to the shows expecting romantic music and listening to shit like The Gloaming or Packt. It is like my fetish, thinking of that gets me hard.

this is pretty much what the bends/in rainbows is TBQHWYL

i'm sorry but burn the witch is waaay too dank for teen girls, all the coldplay/muse/AM shit is one of the worst recent memes from Sup Forums

has it been confirmed the release date is until june?

confirmed? no, but it's pretty obvious theguardian.com/music/2016/apr/15/radiohead-album-june

That article's a month old.

My big dilemma is, why would they generate all this hype now for just a single? It doesn't make much sense. Deleting your entire Internet presence is a big deal in this day, they've got something big cooking.

lp9 fuggin when

I don't think I like it more than half of HTTT but that's my favorite album of theirs. That said, I think this track excites me as much as it does BECAUSE I like HTTT so much. It has the same sort of ambience to it, if not a hair more threatening due to the manic strings. I've honestly got a pretty good feeling about the album after hearing this track.

damn i guess you're right

>that synth bass
the best thing n the song definetly

Honestly your reply made me check everywhere in the hopes that it leaked and you were referencing that.

BTW, anyone notice that the preorder dates for the backlog on Amazon got moved to the 9th?

I don't think there's any one best thing about this track. I mean, I love the dissonant string breakdown at the end but it's the synth bass that's making my head bob while it's going down. This track merges the tense and the danceable really well IMO.

Burn The Witch bass line was prety Chris Wolstenholme-y in my opinion, not that it is a bad thing, he is my favorite bass player.

All I know is that they're playing ACL and I actually have a chance to see them live and I'm fucking excited.

I'm also expecting LP9 basically any day now, dunno why anyone would think it's later than that. Their tour starts this month, do you honestly think that they're going to release the album AFTER they start their global tour promoting it?

yeah but that guys always sounds like colin n OK Computer era (but poppier) so...

I think of Airbag when I think of BTW's bassline, especially when it gets that little playful flourish in the second verse.

They started the Kid A tour before the album. That was how they knew a bunch of people were bootlegging their shows, 2-3 shows in a bunch of people were singing along to unreleased songs

I actually genuinely kind of hate that I feel so lukewarm on Radiohead after TKOL and this...

I want to like it, don't fucking say I don't. I do. I'm not going to force myself though.

Kind of a stupid decision to me, but I guess I wouldn't put it past them.

lmao you don't HAVE to like anything, i mean, i feel bad for you, i genuinely love burn the witch and i'm enjoying it, but it's ok, ts not your jam, move on

In Rainbows era have the best artworks

It will drop tomorrow. Cap this and post it on reddit.

...

...

...

Aren't they too dark and grim for In Rainbows?

I was thinking this too. Granted, IR is a pretty bleak record but it's not dystopian bleak like the 4 albums before it. Art's still fucking rad, though.

...

it is from IR era btw

videotape is pretty grimmy and dark, suicidal even. so is house of cards, maybe not "grim", but evokes shallow feelings of belonging and despair. artwork seems to match.

...

Really? I always felt that Videotape was about a man hat lived a fullfilling life and is accepting death while saying good bye to everyone he loves. Seems like a good way to go for me.

>This is my way of saying goodbye
>Cause I can't do it face to face
>So talking to you after it's too late
>From my videotape

pretty much a suicide note, m8. album is dark as fuck but in a subtle way.

Pretty much every song on IR is dark as fuck. It just sounds really smooth while doing it.

Whoops, I misread the part where you said "album". My bad.
