How is porn better on a tablet than a laptop in bed? A laptop you can just rest it on your stomach or chest and watch it perfectly. A tablet you need one of your hands constantly holding it/holding it up, making it very uncomfortable.

I play Warhammer 40K, which is a tabletop wargame that utilizes a lot of books for rules and supplements. Having .pdf versions of all of these books on one device with a decent sized screen saves me from having to carry 15 pounds of books in addition to the miniatures I play with.

Outside of that, my tablet doesn't really get used for anything. I paid $35 for it at a pawn shop.

Windows? I have a 10.6" samsung galaxybook I take with me. For media/books/drawing/notetaking/moving around the office instead of using my 15.6" gaming laptop. Mostly when I;m in the middle of a game and don't care to close it.

An iPad? Yes. Any other tablet, not really, no.
Except the Surface, but I don't really consider the Surface a "tablet." Even Microsoft themselves doesn't refer to it as a tablet. It's really more of a laptop with a detachable keyboard.
And even the iPad has a very niche, specific use case.

The Pro with a keyboard can be used much like the Surface. Not quite as powerful, but still a viable option as long as its not your primary workstation.

Honestly I prefer the Pro without the Keyboard Cover just because personally I think having a keyboard on an iPad defeats the purpose.

My laptop is a general purpose device that I can carry with me if I travel somewhere, even if I visit my brother or something. My desktop is just for gaymen and it's pretty stock install. I can keep all the same preferences, files and history when I'm travelling except I can't game. I don't have Windows on that laptop and games require it, as they also require a lot of performance.

Windows tablets are undoubtedly the best, cheap ones are faster and much more long-lasting than ARM and expensive ones can do everything a "ultrabook" can do.

But there's still nothing a tablet can do that a laptop can't, while a laptop can do much more and has a better built in "stand" than any tablet.

Windows tablets are actually pretty nice for CAD work / mobile computing, and the newest version of the iPad pro is a peerless artistic tool (and anything else that uses the pencil). Both are great for PDF revision and annotation, if you're in a research field.
