The battery on the stream will only last about 11-12 hours more, in a few hours they activate boosters or something to get to mars.

Unlikely. They have no location for a base, nor a plan or equipment in development for permanent settlement. The threads on this subject in /sci/ basically have shown how difficult the farming and power situation would be even for a very small group of colonists.

I guess we should end all rocket programs since there even a bigger waste of money like 4x the waste of money compared to SpaceX
