I'm an Android fanboy and user, but this is kinda sad, How much time has passed since Oreo was launched, 6 months? Google, what you're doing?

It's not Google, it's the manufacturers
and users
WIndows 10 is years old and only has like half the Windows share
That should tell you more about how shitty the OSes are, rather than omg the goyim aren't using our spyware OSes!
What's the point of "upgrading"? Windows 10 is only useful for gamers and that's because they forced everyone to develop on 10. Most people use phones for Facebook, texting and talking, maybe a messaging or dating app. Hopefully there will be a crash soon because new OS's or major OS upgrades is not needed for majority of users.
Yes, some of them are actually smart and listen to their userbase
Windows 10 is and will always be a garbage OS, and MS can thank themselves for making an operating system that triggered millions of people to actually get into Linux.
>Google, what you're doing?
android 9
>I'm an Android fanboy and user
>t. iToddler shill
>Windows 10 is and will always be a garbage OS
Any arguments, please?
I'm an openSUSE guy myself, if that matters. Thinking about try a Windows 10 LTSB. It's free, so why not?
Blame Samsung LG and the likes for taking ages to make the 8.0 version of their rom
it certainly is free, you are the payment user.
>as in, your privacy is the payment.
>Windows 10 is and will always be a garbage OS
Honestly the numbers speak for themselves, and almost all the non-paid reviews, internet Nazis aren't holding Windows 10 back, it's just that bad.
my pixel dont have this problem.
>Windows 10 is only useful for gamers and that's because they forced everyone to develop on 10
except no one develops Windows 10 exclusives other than Microsoft

Windows 10, is a ugly OS, the user interface is messy, the limited control of updates is bad. Aside from that, it comes with a lot of features 7 didn't have. It comes with the Xbox app that allows you to play your xbox on your computer via Wifi. One of the major downfalls is as I stated before, the god ugly graphical user interface.
>millions
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Report and hide.
>Nougat
Just by that name I knew it will be popular. Sucks for Oreo though.
This. My unlocked V20 was the first phone on 7.0 and it's on that over a year later. Get your act together LG.
If something, Google needs to stop slapping big numbers to any release just because they can. Marshmallow should've been Android 5.2 goddamnit
>"I have no idea what I am talking about!"
This.
This is because internally they are changing A LOT. The mechanics of app installation, JiT compilers, etc. Remember how hard it was to port XPosed to 7.0? Because they basically changed how the whole system works.
I bought an E4 Plus, I don't care about Oreo because developers have to support a spread of Android versions
>its googles fault that the telcos and eoms dont want to ship oreo because they would need to comply with the GPL and also require Treble firmware and Vulkan GPUs
are you a retard OP?
>has v20
>wait for manufacturer's update
What a faggot why are you not on lineage.
this.
F-droid + Yalpstore.
When buying a new prepaid phone recently. I was surprised to find that 90% of phones were still KitKat. And the latest os was nougat on one phone only.
Why isn't there an article on the wiki on font rendering? On windows the fonts still sem rainbowy when using gdipp and mactype
what to do
>TFW still on kit kat
>and users
Tell me 2015 or 2016 first half phone with marshmallow update.
I'm fucking waiting for my lg g6
MOTOROLA WHERE'S MY UPDATE
It's not Google, it's the manufacturers. But actually this mode of updating is quite healthy.
Google does a release, early adapters adapt, a long while later the uneducated helpless masses get a well-tested safe update if it makes sense.
And apps get rolling releases by default.
Can't really see any large disadvantage with this method.
Android is one of those OS's that you NEED the latest security updates. They've fixed hundreds, if not thousands of vulnerabilities since kit-kat. Especially in the post-stagefright era
Actually I just found out recently, windows 10 has built in support for bash shelling.
if that isn't reason enough to switch I don't know what is.
each version of android i've tried is comfier than the last
