No way to buy it without paying shipping for more than what it's worth, raspberry pi zero is 5 also and had a mini HDMI port :^)

IoT is always really fascinating.
But I don't really see people attempting to generalize it enough.

Shipping from Hong Kong is free. Am I missing something?

Americans.

No, European

Unless it has a Adreno 4xx/5xx/6xx or Vivante GC2k GPU than it's useless to me.
It also required a modern U-Boot or ability to flash one meaning not locked down like the Pi.

I'm waiting for the IMX8M Soc personally.

>imb4 PowerVR/Mali400/450/Rockchip/broadcomm non mainlined kernel with binaries statically compiled to their wierd outdated fork

>All-in-One
wat is dat

scratch that this looks to be just a beefy micro controller which in that case can actually be useful if it includes 802.11AC, RTC, and DC battery connector

you can use these for remote controlled stuff like electronics on relays for farm automation or even make a quadcopter

That black box is multiple chipsets in a single package

...

MONITOR+CPU+HDD+WIFI+MEMORY+PS/2

/thread.

Embedded tech can live in embedded tech, linux can live in gentoo. Nobody needs a flame war over a specific chink soc.

As an aside, I've used the 8266 in about 5 projects now. Great workflow once it's up and running.

5$

I stepped the gun lol.
I personally am very tolerant of microcontrollers of any sort and I agree they are useful.

I'm just weary of muh lynuks sbcs :]
(mainly to protect other Sup Forumsents from buying into a 2.6 kernel device with a proprietary driver)
