What does Sup Forums think about arisuchan.jp
I can actually post through TOR.

Was the FTP down for anyone yesterday?

Is it safe to view my keepass db on my phone?

full of retarded underage larpers and discord circlejerk

You mean like /cyb/?

Wait, why would they have a discord?

>arisuchan
Arisuchan is just a copy of lainchan with no users.

>phone
No.

You know guys I feeling kinda tired. Have we not progressed beyond imageboards as the ultimate platform for relatively anonymous discussion? Inb4 vrchat
Way isn't there something new and exciting like Sup Forums was back in the day or tor later on?

I write messages on your moms ass when I fuck her.
It's anonymous and untracable.
There is a lot of discussion there about all sort of things.
And there is space to make drawing for the artistically inclined.
Not sure if I'd call it exciting. Your moms a dead fish.

which is the most /cyb/ cryptocurrency?

Yay!

BTW we had an inbetween thread here Also the FAQ version is 2 steps behind the FTP site and there is also a /sec/ FAQ.

l theanine tester here ( docdro.id/9UITWhy ) my second trial starts up soon (once I've returned back to baseline) that'll be placebo controlled and a 20 dose trial of phenylpiracetam, caffeine, l theanine and alpha gpc - but anyway my main point, would anyone be interested in a dedicated stream to post my trials? i.e a blog or subreddit for other to contribute and post self experiment data on?

Because some people are retarded. It is fine because the few that use the discord don't even post. Arisuchan is comfy. Appleman is an idiot and Kalyx is a cuck.

>we had an inbetween thread here
No paste = a waste.

Is there anything that can make me sit and study for 8+ hours?

any vpn recommendations?

>Is there anything that can make me sit and study for 8+ hours?
yeah, go back in time and ask your parents to discipline you properly

idk of you know the history, but don't use arisuchan. Use lainchan.

wtf is blender?

Cash

Can be a food processor.
Or a software system for graphics.

How then about outdated paste? Or all the strange (embed) in the paste?

And more importantly: why so quiet in here today? Livening up with a cybersuit.

Monero probably.

Any updates on Outer Heaven? Or was he abducted in that white dry cleaner van?

>Is there anything that can make me sit and study for 8+ hours?
2nding this question.

Adderall.

Remove all distractions. No sugary drinks. Just Japanese green tea at the most. And get enough sleep first.

Hardmode, no pharmaceuticals (synthetic stuff).
Green tea is nice, but too mild.
Maybe something similar to kratom.

chewing gum and noise canceling headphones

...

>trial of phenylpiracetam, caffeine, l theanine and alpha gpc
this should hopefully work for 6 hours, obviously you could test it yourself but I'll know more once my trials completed in about a month

Mindfulness meditation in the morning at least 10 minutes
Exercise or go for a 3 min walk
Green tea and water
Pomodoro 25 min work/5 min break take 30 min after 4 cycles

Guys.. what measures do I have to take when using a pendrive to pass data between two laptops?

I feel like using one is like going to a burdel and fuck all the hores without a condom XD

Do I have to worry?

Use this or lainchan, they have more respect for privacy than Hiro.

How do you keep do keep electronic dossiers?
>archives of custom excel / word --> access database and forms for interaction
It works, but I feel in 2018 there ought to be good packages available for this type of work.
Bonus for expansive media attachments and indexing capabilities.

Personal Cloud

unless you want specific items and then relational information, in which case you'll need at a basic level a database with a simple CRUD application

Whats the story?

Read the wiki

Contradiction in terms?

No

>Maybe something similar to kratom.
New to me. Checking
>As of 2018, little is known of kratom's worth or safety as a therapeutic agent, since research into its use has been of poor quality.[7][8] There is no evidence kratom is safe or effective for treating any condition.[9] Some people take it for managing chronic pain, for treating opioid withdrawal symptoms, or – more recently – for recreational purposes.[3][8]
I'd rather stick to Japanese tea.

>Was the FTP down for anyone yesterday?
I was there yesterday and also tried now. The FTP is up but there have not been many contributions outside that Cyberpunk sub directory.

Why split the traffic between even more message boards? At times we barely have the traffic to keep off page 10.

Lainchan was created, Kalyx the creator of lainchan sold it to an autist named Appleman. The new owner is an idiot and kept fucking up the site. The bastard couldn't even handle a pedophile group that was brewing on lainchan.

Kalyx came back and was pissed at the state of his baby. He then realized he had admin privs to the server still so what does he do? Deletes lainchan just to troll because of course proper backups are done right? Wrong! The idiots of lainchan didn't do the bare minimum so that fucked them up and created the huge drama you still see today.

Kalyx along with a lainon named Seph later created lainchan.jp. Good community was started that felt a lot like the old lainchan. A problem occurred. No member of the staff was doing ANYTHING for the site. Seph kicks the lazy fuckers out including Kalyx.

Seph then is able to gain a bunch of users by doing a merger with a russian forum and then she creates a board of the system.space refugees.

tldr; Both communities are alright just don't listen to the drama and use both/decide which you prefer by your own experience.

>and then she
Is Seph the one behind Jinteki-industries?

>And more importantly: why so quiet in here today? Livening up with a cybersuit.
This is because browser scripts like 4chanx add (embed) to some urls where you can click it and it'll get embedded in the thread rather than opening the link, OP most likely uses this, and copy pasted the paste from another thread, so they also appeared.

Nope. Someone else.

Who here datalove jellyfish?

There are a shitload of new innovative and free platforms. The problem is, no one is using them.

gold, silver and platinum, and at worst, cash.

>How then about outdated paste? Or all the strange (embed) in the paste?
Just strip it down to raw text. Yeah it has been quiet all over the web... maybe the captcha's turned people off this site.

If you're a normie, just use antivirus. If your OS is free, you're far better off. If you're totally paranoid, just use a live-CD/DVD distro, like xubuntu. This runs from RAM, and before booting it up, pull out your hard drive. Mount the USB read-only.

Green tea is great. I have nothing against it, especially if it works for you. That citation oversimplifies a very political topic. It disregards a ton of literature on the subject.

>Telecomix often refer to oceanic concepts when describing their overall structure.[citation needed] They state that "a siphonophoric organism transmitting its genome through memes and imitation rather than through rules and regulations".[29]

>Jellyfish are an important part of the symbolism of Telecomix, circulating both as a meme and as an organizational concept guiding participants in evolving the organization.[citation needed] In June 2009 a blog post on "jellyfish memetics" was posted at a Telecomix-affiliated blog,[30] arguably sparking a great interest within Telecomix for the philosophical implications of decentralized self-organization.
Datalove

>The notion of "datalove" appeared for the first time in one of several manifestos written by Telecomix, as to "inspire the body-politic to incarnate creatively via totemized teleportation-flows of datalove".[31] The concept of datalove has been the leitmotif for several spawned projects, such as the Telecomix datalove.me-Site with interactive Datalove-experience.[citation needed]

Looks fucking awesome, tell me moar.

If I need to focus I take 200mg caffeine and 400mg l-theanine. I just purchased some adrafinil and noopept which hopefully helps as well.

An amazing group that now is sadly gone for the most part.

I'd like to do all kinds of scans of networks and pentesting.
Obviously I'd like to do it through some other machine.
I have a personal server that's used for VPN, DNS cache, file sharing. It's very tied to me and it's located in my country.

How viable is getting a VPS abroad? What to use for anonymity?
for visiting sites, scanning, ssh, and running exploits.

>open source hardware
Were it based on FPGAs it wold have been closer to open source. As things are now the CPU, GPU, Ethernet interface and more are closed source hardware. The CPU is most likely backdoored.

It'll be our little secret.

can we please start using SFTP. ive said it several times in the past few months now

>It's anonymous and untracable.
hahahahaha

Are those futuristic 'ultra structures' even physically possible?

>can we please start using SFTP. ive said it several times in the past few months now
It would be nice but regrettably the user who admins this FTP does not follow this general.

It was set up last year and announced somewhere on Sup Forums by someone who probably hoped to get a lot of free pr0n. And there is some there. Surprisingly little though,

Anyway, in the spirit of "the street finds its own uses for things" it was used fairly heavily by this general and is the home to two FAQs authored in this group, hence all the old versions lying around there. Also lots of other reference documents are there but nothing bad, crass, illegal, tasteless or in any other way problematic files. I have to admit I had expected worse.

So yes, SFTP would be nice but there hasn't been anything incriminating there.

There was also Outer Heaven which was on TOR. It is now gone. Circumstances are unclear.

Anyone else feel like they want to study programming, security, and networking but they're just in a state of fatigue and mental fog 24/7? Honestly I think I have about a 1-2 hour window when I wake up where I'm OK. But after that initial period of energy, the rest of my day is just spent trying to combat against fatigue and procrastination.

I would literally kill for a real-life version of the limitless pill. The human biology and chemical makeup is so... weak. Why the fuck can we not invest research funds and efforts into reducing fatigue and improving focus other than throwing adderall at the problem. Funny enough, adderall seems to be the only short-term fix to this problem.

>inb4 muh meditation, caffeine pills and l-theanine

Cyberpunk has nothing to do with cybersecurity.

>Have we not progressed beyond imageboards as the ultimate platform for relatively anonymous discussion?
Someone will first have to come up with a good idea and importantly also implement it.
>Inb4 vrchat
It was discussed here earlier to make a Tron world using Unreal Engine 4 but again it would take a lot of work and we still might not end up better than, say, Second Life. text isn't too shabby even today.
>Way isn't there something new and exciting like Sup Forums was back in the day or tor later on?
Usenet News isn't much different from this, only the low bandwidth back in the day was a problem. Functionality was in some ways better in that you could add keywords, summaries and more to the header for better retrieval.

I feel you. Currently working on overcoming that. What I will try though, is using these hours after waking up. If it means getting up earlier so I can actually learn and study effectively.

The other thing though, I know from my past that when I ate better (aka more greens) and worked out more (even if it was just brisk walking a lot) my mental focus was stronger.

And, what will also help in the long run, the more effectively you become at learning, the easier it will become. So if right now you can only manage 5 minutes of deep learning, and then get distracted, work with it. In time, stretch it to 6, 7, 8... minutes and go from there.
If you are used to study +6h at a time, you should not except it to work for it.

also pic related

Oh wow, my mind can't write right now..

>If you are used to study +6h at a time, you should not except it to work for it.
What I meant was, if you arn't used to study +6h at a time, you should not expect that you can do it without training.

I also have this. All I do is go to work, then go home to waste time/procrastinate while attempting to better myself by learning useful skills, because I can't concentrate on anything except memes and battlestation pics for more than 5 seconds.

>those trips
yeah it fucking sucks, man. Is this a normal state of being for most people? Do others just have a better willpower than we do and trek through that fatigue and procrastination? Or do they not experience this, or to a lesser effect than we do? The only short-term solution I've found is to throw stimulants at the issue. But, obviously, this can't be sustained for the long run. I think the most you can get is 2-3 days per week of stims followed by 4-5 days of being clean. You also have to combine this with healthy eating, exercise, and hydration for it to not become hazardous to your overall health.

But man, like I stated earlier, I would seriously bust a nut if some kind of supplement or synthetic came out that had the same effects as adderall/amphetamines but with little to no downside.

I wonder how many tech giants, and CEO's from other sectors, are using high-grade pharmaceuticals and chemicals to keep their focus and drive burning?

what stims have you seen decent results with?

One great tip I got was not to waste mental energy on tasks that require none. For example, preparing your next day (putting out clothes, packing workstuff, writing a to do list) that saves up time and energy in the morning. And more than it, if you are feeling low on mental energy and can't focus on anything, do housework. You don't need to think to do that.

An the note to tech giants, drive is a huge factor (though I am not saying they don't have a staff that takes care of a lot of things for them). But having a drive and purpose, and knowing why your are learning something, can go a long way.

I've only tried a few but I'll list my experience with them

>ritalin
When I was diagnosed with adult ADHD and this was the first medication my doctor suggested that I try. It's very effective at giving you a mental boost and slightly elevated energy levels to drive motivation. The only problem was that it didn't really seem to make boring things more interesting. You have to practice a form of behavioral therapy on yourself in order for it to work properly. What I mean by this is, generally speaking, you have to remove all distractions and outside stimuli in order to divert your focus onto the task at hand. As a general statement, this behavior is paramount to being successful with ADHD. Bad headache associated with this compound and HORRIBLE mood swings when it wears off. It also doesn't last very long!

>Adderall
Same as ritalin but with a little more of a focusing agent involved. Boring tasks became highly interesting and I could devote hours to whatever I wanted. The downside with this drug, however, is that you literally have to remind yourself to eat. Your appetite and thirst are almost non existent. You can easily lose weight on this drug and it's not necessarily a good thing. The come down isn't that bad, depending on dosage, and the duration it lasts is pretty long.

>Modafinil
By far my favorite but it has somewhat of a paranoia-like effect on me. Funny enough, when I used this drug I got hyperfocused on hacking a well-known porn site that many of you've heard of and I learned how to get past their paywall with a simple wget of their index file and locating hash strings to various videos. I think it's been patched now.

Should also point out that you can potentiate all of these compounds by taking them on an empty stomach with some form of mild stimulant like coffee, or to a greater extent, a pre-workout supplement. Mixing Modafinil with a couple pots of coffee, for example, was a very euphoric and pleasurable experience. Knocking out 4-5 hour chunks of REAL work/study is almost like a superpower and it should never be taken lightly. But like I said earlier, align your dosages and stim routine around days where you know you have to be productive. Taking these compounds every day is a first-class ticket to fucking up your health, and more importantly, your sanity. Tread with extreme caution.

>As a side note: Gottfrid Svartholm, also known as Anakata from The Pirate Bay, has been known to tamper with all of these stimulants in the past to work longer hours on their servers and what not. Not sure if he still does, but it's definitely interesting and I'm curious to know what stack he was/is taking.

>couple cups of coffee
Yeah, typo'ed there. Don't drink a couple pots of coffee ontop of this unless you want to have a heart attack

4f-mph was great for that when i had it.
lisdexamphetamine is great, but you have to get a script for it so.
3fpm is nice too

With current materials no. With developments in man made alotropes like carbon nanotubes and graphene yes. We're at a stage in engineering and science where we have discovered that the material isn't exactly the only thing driving strength. More importantly is the orientation and structure of the material. When nano materials are cheap and easily producible we will see some wild shit.

I think we're getting close. Pic related.

Nah, that's just a mega structure.
An Ultra structure isn't just tall, but wide. They will span for miles.

me
Exactly.
I should have specified OFFLINE only.

Any good intelligence boosting foods/drugs? I'm using stims now to focus but I need more.

>Any good intelligence boosting foods/drugs? I'm using stims now to focus but I need more.
Check this out, gwern had been making meta-analysis and experimentation for years, could be a red-pilling..

gwern.net/Nootropics

specially this part: gwern.net/Nootropics#defaults

I, too, have this exact problem. Granted, I attribute most of this feeling to my totally fucked up sleep schedule/pattern. Proper sleep time as well as length is the number one factor determining how you will feel for the rest of the day. Daily nutrition comes second, physical activity third (from what I've observed, don't quote me on any of this).

Sometimes you just got to force yourself. Get angry and shit.

>I wonder how many tech giants, and CEO's from other sectors, are using high-grade pharmaceuticals and chemicals to keep their focus and drive burning?
I hear there is a lot of this among stock market traders. There are 3 time zone blocks to keep up with: American, European and Asian. So the high fliers will want to keep up with what happened in the earlier time zone block before their trade hours start and then check out some of the activities in later time zones after closing hours. That leaves about 6 hours to sleep. So many take drugs to stay awake and over time use stronger drugs. Some end up crashing out spectacularly.

This account is biased as hell but I'm too lazy and don't give a shit to refute it.

Just go to either lain's /q/ or arisu's /meta/ and find the numerous threads on the split and decide for yourself.

Both sites are really slow though, but arisuchan is the slower of the two.
I don't even browse either anymore.

>There’s also a sense that the dominance of two closed source architectures — ARM and Intel x86 — is limiting innovation, slowing time to market, and increasing cost. In addition, RISC-V advocates claim that both ARM and x86 platforms are burdened by legacy code. By comparison, RISC-V is starting with a clean slate of modern components.

The article gives an overview of the situation for RISC-V. This might be one of the few designs with no backdoor, depending on who implements it.

have the same problems honestly. just goes along with bad sleeping pattern. i force myself a lot but i don't feel like i enjoy it when i do.

Yes. Just look up "Octamid".

Do you sleep well? I am in the same boat. Don't take adderall though, please do not.

Anyone check out cyberghost vpn

This is incredible. Well I'm going to try melatonin for sleep and take vitamin D. I have no idea how to get modafinil in Canada and nicotine seems highly addictive.

Maybe I'll drink more tea

Addon for your internet browser

Japanese green tea is recommended. Also you will not be arrested for possessing green tea and the Japanese say it is a large part of the reason for their longevity.

Do you know any good suppliers/brands of green tea?

I usually drink a cup of random bagged green tea (stash I think) and I want to branch out.

I don't know of any brands to recommend, I get mine as loose leaf in a no-brand bag. Remember we are talking about Japanese tea, which is very different from Chinese green tea: the Chinese tea is dry goods while the Japanese green tea is fresh goods. So opened bags should be stored in a cool place in air tight containers. One difference is that Japanese green tea contains a LOT more caffeine than other green teas.

Go for a normal "sencha" type. The more expensive "Macha" is too bitter for ordinary use and is intended for tea ceremonies.

Why can't I find it?

BTW sleep and Japanese green tea do not go well together.

That guy seems to have no inhibitions on testing out stuff. And I guess basement pharma is part of cyberpunk...

Why then is there so little about electro-therapy? Especially as early tests have been quite remarkable.
