Brian has an awful voice but it is one of the most iconic in rock.
Corgan does as well, not iconic necessarily, but definitely makes good use of his voice.
Kiedis is another rock icon with an "awful" voice.
I like all their voices more than so-called "good voices"
A lot of new RNB male singers sound exactly the same.
That whole "hozier" style of singing is big as well, and that's pretty terrible. Generic and quite boring.
Also, I don't know if you'll know what I'm talking about, but A LOT of singers do that Citizen Cope style singing now, or recently. The mumbly with an accent style. It's really bad and was only decent when he did it.

Seriously why do they let him sing, what the fuck he sounds like a kid with Down's Syndrome. I hate Dire Straits just because of his voice because everything he sings sounds flat, emotionless and kind of like a bad actor doing the very first reading of his lines or something.
