So it's safe to say this client is dead. What is Sup Forums using now?
4.0.4 was supposed to be released weeks ago
Deluge.
Second on deluge. Shit it the tits
laggy ui
Fuck you and your shit hardware then
transmission
>last commit was 12 days ago
>dead
my hardware is decent
fix your software
Because a few seconds of lag in a piece of software you only use to add torrents once or twice in a day really kills the experience.
this is so much more better than deluge it's not even funny
>last commit 7 months ago
1.5 months ago, actually
transmission-daemon
it's great, definitely the best client for android
rTorrent
For a project with this many bugs, it is. The devs have also said they cherrypick issues instead of focusing on what is critical and important, because "we do it in our free time for fun" (paraphrasing). This explains why some issues never get fixed, as they're non-trivial and/or time consuming and "no fun".
>start qb with drive unmounted
>starts redownloading previously seeded files
>stop, mount drive, start again
>doesn't detect the files
>have to force recheck every file
I don't know how something so terrible could be written when it does can't even handle nonexistent directories. It should be able to detect that the files exist again and resume as normal. This has been around since 3.0x
Have you tried using a real operating system?
>windows
>real OS
And you're saying you do not experience the same issues in regards to resuming seeding torrents? The issue tracker is littered with similar bugs
I assumed all of the qbittorrent issues were on Windows. I've never had a problem with it. It just works for me.
This is the best bittorrent software.
Deluge is ok but lacks a lot of details.
Does it work great on Windows?
Who gives a fuck about windows
Fork it and work on those bugs then you faggot, if not dont complain nigger
A great amount of people.
Does it, or does not?
it's fine on windows, but mostly i'd use the daemon, the web ui will work pretty much everywhere the same
just use transmission you fucking losers
I switched to transmission recently and tried to download a file.
It downloaded the file.
I worked on the new logo.
rtorrent is the only acceptable torrent software. Anything less and you're actively gimping yourself, the only exception being racing with deluge.
>but I use windows!
Build a cheap linux box dedicated to rtorrent and use rutorrent to access it from windows
>but I'm too dumb to set it up!
there are plenty of how-tos and FAQs
>but I've been using [other shit software] for too long and am scared to switch!
Better late than never
rtorrent is a total waste of time unless you're trying to set up a seedbox.
Deluge
What an absolute madman.
>why won't people work for free on what I want them to do and on a time line that's convenient to me???
qBitorrent 3.3.11. Works on my machine.
I don't even have problems with it on Windows. In fact, I've never had a problem with it between 5 different computers. I don't know how people fuck it up.
Use Tixati. It's made by a professional developer and has zero bugs and tons of extra features. I literally just click on magnet links from different trackers and everything is saved in the right places and seeded for the right amount of time with the exact speeds I want depending on the tracker etc.
>ponyfags
>professional
>software is bad
>libtorrent, what qb relies on, is bad
>this is the users fault
Are you retarded?
Works on my machine(s)
transmission has always been and always will be the best
