Do 144hz monitors make code nicer to look at

no
Unfortunately no. Window motion looks better though
no but high dpi does, get a 4k monitor instead
>pic related
Fucking kek. A 144Hz monitor will strain your eyes less due to less flicker, but other than that, not much.
Scrolling through code does become more pleasant under 144Hz
I'm not sure if I agree with number 5. A slave puts himself into debt.
Kindly cease posting that psychological operative from national television. All jobs shouldn't be praised, such as McDonald's. There is no opportunity there. He is a fucking nigger! Leave this planet.
Who is this smug faggot?
Exactly. Robots will replace physical labor. The trend is clear.
Provides an opportunity for 16 year olds to make money like a minimum wage job should, but you're just a pathetic NEET so you probably have never had a job
It provides cheap labour for McDonald's so they can continue making billions and not pay employee's benefits under the guise of 'part time work' or 'you're 16, your first job is supposed to suck!'
Americans are the biggest cucks, I swear...
No, it's literally to employ children. Any manager that isn't a child is going to be making decent money and receive full benefits. If you're a high school dropout you deserve death anyways
If I'm saying jobs are not all equal than I am setting the bar. Why would a NEET do that? The NEET would want mutual respect in theory. Your assumption in this case is incorrect. I'm not a NEET, sir. Far from it. In fact, financial freedom. That is all I'm going to reveal.
>born in america
>winning the lottery
lol
>all people are created equal
yeah as if natural selection doesnt apply to humans
the rest of it just reeks of "good goy"
>I am not a NEET, sir.
Stop LARPing user it's getting pathetic
Always nice in the later hours, foreigners always showing how butthurt they are about America, yet they browse an American website. (owned by a gook no less)
There is nothing wrong with being NEET. Despise society but be sure to recoup before NEET life kills you.
You know, I don't buy into the whole "I won the lottery being born in this country"
I could only be born in this country. I, Me, and a product of my parents DNA and only my parents DNA.
If I was born anywhere else I would be someone else entirely.
How do we know I'm the NEET and you are not the NEET. Do I leave NEET prints behind. This can get interesting. Are you ready?
Cryptoneets are the sexiest.
i do not live in a country objectively better than america, but at least i acknowledge the fact that there can be better. this is something americans are incapable of, just as shown by your hostile defensiveness
...
Nah most Americans wish America was better, I just find it amusing when people try to shit on America so much
I plan on having seven offspring. The objective is to not burden the taxpayer, but I believe the safety net should be thick and supple; always there. Benefits are necessary sometimes, you know?
Nice quints user didn't expect you would get them
checked
may you have quints to start off your goal of 7
higher pixel density does a lot. you can get 1440p monitors fairly cheaply, but get one that is 25 inch instead of the usual 27 to get a much sharper image (U2515H etc)
>mouse sensitivity makes things nicer to look at
This is next level stupid
Any nerd who is slaved to a monitor should have it tinted orange and dimmed
What why
Quints of truth. A truly excellent society takes both libertarian and socialist values, combining them both to have a stable middle ground; thus ensuring the one who excels gets rewarded but the one who is at the bottom doesn't starve and also enjoys the pleasures of life.
Because blue light is bad for your eyes in long periods of time. Keep the color temperature on your monitor to "warm". I set mine to warm a year ago, and now it doesn't even look like it's washed out piss yellow like it did initially. Setting it back to normal makes it look like it's underwater almost.
I actually recommend the program f.lux, it automatically adjusts throughout the day to lower eyestrain and not fuck with your circadian rhythm. At max the screen will produce as much blue light as the sky, and it can lower down to producing no blue light at all. It's also free. If you keep weird hours it's also has complete customization too.
No. 5k does though
144Hz monitors have more issues like this compared to 60Hz ones:
youtube.com
Notably this one, I know other monitors that don't have it, but seems to be part of the tech for now.
some cunts suggest that they make typing feel a lot better due to the shorter delay between poking keys and seeing shit on-screen
most comfy display for reading is e-ink
Why would they?
144hz is a meme for non manchildren
You don't know about dots per inch?
your nervous system doesn't operate past 25hz
The opposite. Color on 144hz monitors is awful.
...
>proprietary
use sunsetscreen or redshift
Children children calm down. If reduced eyestrain and pleasing color/contrast aesthetics is what you seek OLED is the obvious answer.
>american website
there is no such thing as a bad job
yeah ..
we should be grateful for wutever we are forced into doing .. whatever fking garbage dead end shit for idiots, sure.
im british and im ashamed of the place now
He never talked about mouse sensitivity faggot, DPI is a resolution unit and can be applied to every display and media.
144hz produce a bit more than twice the pixels per second so everything is much cleaner. I'd say do it
dumb frogposter
It's probably his cable. You get what you pay for, and DisplayPort is "free" so people shouldn't be surprised when most cables are trash that don't work past a certain length.
>only 3 of which address OP's question instead of his shitty b8
>2/3 are wrong
Absolute, literal state of Sup Forums.
Refresh rate doesn't mean shit when looking at a static image (which is 99% of editing text). The still picture never updates like a CRT so refresh rate is effectively infinite. The only advantage comes with if you happen to have smooth scrolling enabled.
Imagine if the workers in manufacturing after the industrial revolution followed these rules. We would be working 12 hours a day without vacations today.
I have the issue as well but the weird thing is that it's appearing intermittently like in the video but always faintly visible only on the left half of the panel (but goes away at 60Hz). I use the DP cable that came with the monitor but I guess I could try a different cable.
Get an LPT pussy
Try HDMI first and see if it still has that problem >60Hz, if so than it's the monitor.
i pray to God you are trolling.... you scare the shit out of me
good idea, thanks
