Twitch wont load streams

I can't get any stream from twitch.tv to load. The website works fine and chat works as well.

Things i've tried
>Different web browsers, Firefox, IE
>Clear Cache In Chrome All Time Every Box Checked Basic & Advanced
>Reinstall chrome no extensions installed
>Incognito mode
>ipconfig /flush , ipconfig /renew , ipconfig /flushdns
>Restart PC multiple times
>Youtube , Liveleaks, Netflix & other video related sites all work fine
>I installed new NVIDIA Graphics Drivers *Idk why I'm desperate*

My PC has a direct Ethernet connection to my router

>watching gaymers play gaymes

Use streamlink instead of putting up with twitchs braindead gorilla coded website

Either that or gnome-twitch. Though the latter seems to crash on me a lot.

>Sup Forums is NOT your personal tech support team or personal consumer review site.
Here's your (You)

well the streams work using streamlink I wonder whats wrong with the browser not loading.

Twitch is coded by liberals

Did you try pinging twitch.tv ?

maybe use googles DNS 8.8.8.8 & 8.8.4.4
to test that your DNS is being resolved properly

Don't use HTML5 player if you are

>not using gentoo

sage

...

OP use the standalone desktop app

nslookup
> twitch.tv

also do a tracert or pathping
twitch is definitely up, I'm watching Distortion2 playing Sotc right now
definitely looks like the name is not being resovled properly (DNS issue)

other free dns servers

ComodoDNS
ns1.vic.au.dns.opennic.glue
111.67.20.8

ns2.vic.au.dns.opennic.glue
163.53.248.170

Level3
209.244.0.3 209.244.0.4

DNS.WATCH
84.200.69.80 84.200.70.40

Quad9
9.9.9.9 149.112.112.112

Norton Connectsafe
199.85.126.10 199.85.127.10

Reinstall videocodecs, flash, java and shit faggot

and another possibilty is that a friend family member is trolling you and they've added
0.0.0.0 twitch.tv
to your hosts file.
(hosts file is in C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc)

>definitely looks like the name is not being resovled properly
I'm an idiot
clearly was resolved to 50.112.196.159

...

yeah ok so page is loading but video is not playing so check your video codecs as the other guy suggested

fuck off dood

Works on my machine!

idk what the fuck that means desu. does windows 7 have codecs I have to install are they for chrome? I googled it and the most relevant thing I could find was this but it said already updated

also I have flash and javascript enabled on twitch

maybe you got IP banned? How about booting into linux live USB and try opening twitch stream on there?

ip banned? but I can still talk in chat?

Turn off adblock and any noscript shit for now and anything of that nature

Do you have it set to use the flash player without having flash installed? Try swapping the HTML5 player or vice versa

Install Gentoo

Alright I've figured it out I posted this image in chat earlier and apparently they banned me from seeing streams but I can still see chat and type in chat confirmed by a friend he can see my messages... doesn't really make sense to me. heres what I typed btw xD

LOL! That's some refined humor XDD

Use youtube-dl.

lmao pwned them Xd

>using twitch website when the desktop application exists
