I have a beat up one I got for free. I'm not a huge fan of the circumcised short hands on it.

The 420 case is v. ugly. Get a 710 or a 670 is you want to be a horology mastermind so bad. Otherwise just get a 110 (bigger wrist) or a 120 (smaller wrist).

dress watches should typically be white (or black at least) but a white dial alone doesn't make a watch dressy if that's what you're asking
Also aren't basically all of the bezels the same size, so the watches all end up being ~40mm? Is the difference just in lug width?

nah it's not length it's width. imo on a 40mm diver a 18mm strap looks dumb. 20mm is much better suited and it confuses me why they didn't use that size.

I looked on the comments in the page for the bezel I linked in , and it seems the 420 bezel works with any case, so I don't see why it wouldn't work the other way around.

Just got the Phoibos. Ceramic bezel looks amazing in person. Machining on the clasp isn't amazing and it lacks some of polish that the sarb has but I'm pretty happy with it for the price.
Phoibos is a pretty blatent sub ripoff. I like the SARB.
Yeah, the Phoibos is little too close to the sub style. I kinda wish they at least used snowflake hands or put their squid logo on the dial instead of their name. I don't have a problem with copying what looks good but it's almost embarrassing wearing this, it's too close to a fake sub. Still hard to beat the value for money with this one.

I only buy police or milsurp and i fully take down guns and refinish them when i get them. It feels really good man. I also service my own watches and i have to say restoring guns is more carefree because of the larger and more durable parts. Sorry user:(
Watches are both fashion and function.
In terms of fashion it is on point. In fact so much so that unless you actually dress like a cool, normal person, it will look out of place on you. Know however that the watch sits quite high. It's like a flying saucer.
In regards to function- it is incredibly average. It uses a standard V7750 movement. The same one that eats itself when hand wound.
It does not have a seconds register. The large seconds hand is only for the chronograph.
The accuracy is what you would expect out of it. I put mine on a timegrapher prior to selling it. +7spd at best, +15spd at worst. Within v7750 specs.
The lume is practically useless. I don't even know why it's there. I had to shine a light on it and take the photo right away as it only lasts for like 10 seconds.
The strap it comes with is of the cheapest kind. Standard leather and very thin. It probably wouldn't last you more than one summer.
I'd say this watch is for artists, designers, women, etc.
You shouldn't pay more than $800 for it.
