There are variants that attach to your phone. Some find it a bit more cumbersome, but the upside is that they're cheaper, they sound better, and they don't need to be charged!

buy a cheap pair for workout and actual wired ones outside of that

I have the XB50BS. Fat, and maybe ugly, but it's cheap and audio's pretty good.

With the wire dancing all around, snagging everywhere, the sound of cable bouncing distorting the audio? No thanks.

I have Shure MMCX based IEMs. Can you recommend a Bluetooth cable for them? All the ones I've looked at either have lots of reviews complaining about poor reception, or only get a few hours of life out of a charge.

do all wireless headphones/earbuds have shitty mics? I can't seem to find a pair with call quality at least as good as the apple earpods.

What about the Shure SE215?
You can use them both wired or wireless by changing the cable.

You can also get the cable by itself (though at $100 it's not a lot cheaper than buying a SE215).

Question though is, is the wireless cable any good? I usually have problems with reception on bluetooth headphones, causing random brief cutouts. Some also have an annoying quiet hiss in the background.
