I HATE brazil!
So, despite having just as much space and natural resources, and despite being colonised way earlier, you still haven't become a developed country, while the US pretty much runs most of the world and has a larger influence on your neighbouring countries than you ever will.
wtf i hate brazil now
We have less than half the arable land.
Is it true? Man.
And China has slightly more than half the amount of arable land as the US, but still manage to support a billion more people.
And you still have a population of more than 200 million people. That's like France, the UK and Germany combined.
There is really no excuse for Brazil being as shitty as it is.
Terrible leadership and too many africans, that's why.
>as much natural resources
It's time to stop posting, wait a few year until you're at least 15 years old.
Ok, "just as many", then. I'm sorry. I should have proof-read that.
I'm right, though. Brazil is really a major disappointment.
>China has slightly more than half the amount of arable land as the US, but still manage to support a billion more people.
And do you think we have problem providing food to our people? We terraformed half the country for decades, made LEAPS in productivity. Surpassed the US (which has a much much much more fertile soil) in a number of things and you are talking shit about us? Go fuck yourself and reminder: China has a much worse quality of life than Brazil, don't talk bs.
The problem is not your grammar, the problem lies with your ""facts"". Brazil is miserable resource-wise when compared to the US.
>US being better than brazil
Brazil is just as good desu
1. We don't have anywhere as many natural resources as the US.
2. We were based off immigration, just like the US.
3. Argentina literally imports more from us than from the US or any other country, as well as exporting more to us than any other country in the world.
4. There's this thing called the Amazon rainforest, you couldn't settle people there before the 20th century.
just no
Don't you have a breadline to be standing in?
It is, actually
But what could Jairo and Jebediah know about Brasiu anyways?
No, I'm just saying that a lack of arable land is a horrible excuse for why your country is so poor and awful.
Have you been to China? Even their GDP per capita is higher than yours!
The population has seen a massive increase in living standards in recent years. And have in the past two decades achieved more than Brazil has in the last two centuries.
Not to mention the fact that their murder rate is incredibly low, whereas there are parts in every Brazilian city where you can't walk around without fearing for your life, and where shootings and robberies are a regular occurrence. Most parts of Africa are safer than Brazil.

I would never want to live or even visit a country, where a human life has absolutely no value.
Dude I basically live in Spanish speaking Brazil are you kidding?
>He lives in a shitty part akin to Brazil so all Brazil is like that
America has shit places too
It's not shit where I live, but you just can't compare Brazil to the US. The wealthiest areas of Brazil would be shit or average at most in the US
At least we aren't filled with Russians. How's that revolution coming along
Brazil has a massive amount of natural resources. You have tons of oil, extensive mineral resources (you're a top five producer of most important minerals and you have the second largest reserves of iron ore in the world), an insane amount of hydroelectrical power and a climate that's ideally suited for agriculture.
All that metal, and all that hydropower should allow for a lot of heavy industry. But what do you make? Nothing. Oh wait, you have a third rate aircraft company called Embraer. My autocorrect doesn't even recognise the brand.
California alone has a bigger economy the entire Brazilian economy combined. In a year, New York will have a bigger economy than the entire Brazilian economy combined.
Comparing Brazil to USA is like comparing a Fiat Uno to a Lamborghini Huracan.
>We don't have anywhere as many natural resources as the US.
Your country is named after a natural resource.
>Arable land is a horrible excuse
No, you are wrong arable land is one of the reasons why Brazil isn't more developed and a good one. We had to terraform half the country for decades so we could plant anything.
> your country is so poor and awful
It simply isn't. It is a big ass country many times bigger than a Norwegian can even comprehend.
> GDP per capita is higher than yours!
You don't even bother to check what you say. Not only our gdp per capita is higher, so it is our HDI.
>The population has seen a massive increase in living standards in recent years.
And our hasn't? Top kek.
>every Brazilian city where you can't walk around without fearing for your life,
NIce bullshit. Besides war on drugs is a very recent thing, we have been a very very pacific country for most of our history, not waging wars abroad, safe cities... we will come back to that.
>I would never want to live or even visit a country, where a human life has absolutely no value.
We don't need you. You can stay in your frozen wasteland, you add nothing.
Mate, you are a very funny person. I mean, for a Norwegian that lives in a tiny ass country with a handful of people that relies on the most valued commodity to pay their expenses, it must be quite the effort to understand why a country with 200+ million people can't live just the same isn't? You are stupid. All the resources we have are well used, but they were never ever enough to really project us further as they did with countries like the US or your own. Just stop mate, this "Let me tell you about your country" is just embarrassing for you. Don't talk about things you don't know.
By that logic, Argentina is stronger than UK, France and Germany combined.
Monkey education.
OP didn't imply anything about strength.
>Where is your god now?
in brazil of course.
Look, you obviously have enough land to support a large population. Even if you didn't, you still would have had every opportunity to have a more developed country with fewer people. I'm not expecting you to surpass the US, only to match their level of development. With all your natural resources that should not have been a problem.
My nationality has nothing to do with my ability to comprehend the measurement of area.
And I was looking at the estimates for 2016, not 2015 (when Brazil's GDP per capita was slightly higher). It hasn't been a great year for you guys.
> safe cities... we will come back to that
I seriously doubt that. The sanctity of life is principle that the vast majority of Brazilians are either not familiar with or do not recognise. People kill each other over nothing over there. It's crazy scary.
I'm quite happy in my frozen hellhole, where it is currently warmer than in France and I went swimming in the ocean two days ago. I still plan on traveling to different places in Asia and Africa, but I am never setting foot in South America. It's just too unsafe.
Brazil has just as many natural resources as the US, but fewer people. Japan and Germany have no natural resources, but they're doing fine. Why can't you? Is it because of the people?
>Is it because of the people?
Yes. Brazil is ruled by overlords who keep all the resources for themselves.
...
Is this your assumption or are you taught this garbage in school? Brazil has areas equal or higher than Norway in HDI and gdp per capita.
>Brazil has areas equal or higher than Norway in HDI and gdp per capita.
So does Peru and Nigeria.

But you're still a shithole, so that only makes you a biggest shit.
I don't have the full list though. These are inequality-adjusted HDI (HDI-M), so it fits the highest criteria.
>1.000
As the saying goes "anything a Brazilian touches turns into shit".
>inequality-adjusted
Yeah, a wood that was already pretty irrelevant when we became independent and is rarely found nowadays.
We only found a decent amount of oil recently due to how deep we had to look for, the US found it over a century ago in Texas. Same goes for certain other resources that helped your country industrialize faster, ie coal.
That's because you're a nordestino, so you have a natural tendency to be a negroid while living in a shithole, unaware of anything that happens outside of your favela. We have entire cities in the South and Southeast the size of European nations with top tier HDI-M. The USA has plenty as well, but I couldn't find any data on HDI-M, they use the "American standard" instead that nobody else in the world uses.
t. uneducated human-ape mongrel who doesn't know the meaning of HDI-M.
HDIM = inequality adjusted HDI
how is that good? the USA has 0.76 IHDI which makes no sense
>South Korea 0.75
kill yourself.
I'm from Porto Alegre, retard.
HDI isn't supposed to reach 1.000 and it's not supposed to be calculated like that. A retarded Brazilian had to rub his asshole on it just to smear shit on HDI.
HDI already is considered fringe, now that Brazilians have smeared shit all over it, no one will take it seriously anymore.
I'll never understand how those inbred agricultural municipalities like Treze Tílias and Pomerode are on that list but not single one from the Serra Gaúcha region (Caxias do Sul, Farroupilha, Bento Gonçalves, Nova Petrópolis, Gramado, Canela...) and we actually have an industry.
Also, how's Rio de Janeiro on that list? In fact, in what way is Porto Alegre better than Serra Gaúcha. Seems more like another meme measurement.
