for me it's the hd600s

What’s the consensus on ATH-M50x?

What's everyone listening to? You use your headphones to listen to music, right?

The best headphones for wearing in the kitchen

Agreed it is nice listening to the best headphones in the world while i cook my dinner.

I've hardly heard anyone ever say a good things about them on all the sites I've seen people mention them, many unimpressed owners etc, they usually say get the m40x or name some other headphones.

is there guide to pick bluetooth headphones? Using cheap af mpow atm, best part is that I really like sound of it despite being chink $25 shit, they sound really impressive. Or my ears are shit, which is most likely..

Definitely nice to not get beat by your husband for cooking with a headphone. That countertop design really blends in with the kitchen

niggerbass

I'm not sure who cooks with a headphone, But i can see why they would get beat by some one for it. Such a waste to ruin a good set of cans.

The wife, obviously. The open design helps you hear your husband's commands, and the lack of bass and treble prevents any noticeable leakage to avoid suspicion. The perfect headphone for the kitchen, I would say

I was considering bluetooth headphones. I'd make sure to find ones that you can use wired as well as wireless.
I was quite surprised how many models don't allow this simple function which I though would be standard on some of the pricey sets.
The AKG Y50s and a couple of Sony ones are the ones that usually get good reviews on their sound quality, can't remember the sony models though.

Junk. Get a Takstar Pro 82 instead

>I was quite surprised how many models don't allow this simple function which I though would be standard on some of the pricey sets.

wireless headphones are a planned obsolescence scheme, why are you surprised?

>AKG Y50s

thanks user! my gf has some senheiser (or whatever correst spelling is) they can be used (as mine asscheap mpow) with wire being turned off.

I get people cooking with headphones. I do not get cooking with a headphone. They're two completely different things.

>lack of bass
the jig is up jarrick

I guess some headphones are just meant for a specific niche, wouldn't you say, user?

Oh shit didn't see the other general was at bump limit. Shameless repost.

Help me anons.

Had a Logitech g430, extreme failure since the cable became way too fucking messy and had to move the jack around sometimes to get sound. Right now I'm using a monoprice headphones, kinda ok but uncomfortable as fuck, make my ear sweat somehow, and also my head is too big so the plastic is breaking apart because its way too bent.

I guess.. I'm still trying to thing of how i would use a headphone while cooking though? Like a serving spoon? or mixer?

From its open-backed design, to its non-memory foam earpads to prevent a consistent seal, Sennheiser has designed the headphone to lack any sort of bass. Nothing short of genius, I would say. Imagine being beat by your husband as a result of him feeling your headphone's vibrations. Even if it did blend in with the environment, the suspicion would still eventually arise.

Like most things these days. Oh aye
np man.
Yeah there are a couple of great Sennheiser ones too forgot them.
apparently the sound on some of these bluetooth ones is sweet.
Depends on your budget and whether you want any old headphones that'll do the job.
Sound quality, budget, looks etc. I'd gather a list and look at people showing you the features and build quality.

btw I never looked at IEM in ear phones, battery life on them tends to be around 5 hours.

for me it's personal preference

In certain households, a women's job belongs in the kitchen and away from any electronics. Sennheiser has simply made a product to bypass suspicion, that's all

What do you guys think about pic related?

trying out the KSC75 that I threw in with an order. great purchase for $15 but i'm not a fan. like at all. I prefer the monks. both are basslite and when you try to boost they clip. with the monk atleast the distortion is towards the lower freqs. monk rolls off sooner so you don't hear the lowend distortion either but you can hear it on the ksc75 stock. has very wonky sounding treble. not very sibilant but airy and tinny. hearing vocal distortion too (or bass bleed). forget it, I don't know why i'm criticizing $15 earphones.

What are the most comfy headphones you guys recommend??

Zero help.... We still don't know the purpose of a headphone in the kitchen. Why are you even posting if you aren't going to assist with this.

HD 600 is a pretty safe pick if comfort is the most important

AKG K712, Philips Fidelio X2 if your neck can handle the slightly heavy weight.
The HD 600 are not memory foam and are incredibly clampy when new

any audio-technica wing band headphone

HD600
youtube.com/watch?v=iNxK-NwSR5U

The FillOutTheFormFaggot KYS580

They're not meant to be used on food, dumdum. They're simply meant to be used as tools for women in the kitchen who aren't allowed to use electronics

Best recommendation

fuck off and get a room

Congrats, no more seal, and as a result, no more bass. Still less comfy compared to other recommendations out there; please stop.

>buy headphone
>headphone is great and lasts for years
>every single "boom/mod" mic i get breaks within months

Is there any better alternatives?

yes, it's called not being a gaymer faggot

Recomend somthin pls frens.

Is there any place I can try high end headphones? I really don't know if spending almost as much as my entire PC just for headphones can be THAT worth it.

KSC75's are amazing especially for rock and metal, makes it sound so exciting, obviously it's already a high energy style of music, I don't get why people want more bass on them. Mine broke long ago. I'd baby them and wrap them up in a loving way if I were you. Maybe put some of that moldable putty stuff at the top were they go into the plastic housing to take the stress off that area.
The top of the clips can hurt the cleavage of your upper ears had to mod mine with string.

>Congrats, no more seal, and as a result, no more bass.
Stop spreading FUD.

Are you saying Sennheiser isn't genius for tapping into such a niche market?

You don't need to spend any more than $300 on headphones because that's what HD600, the best headphones in the world cost. If $300 is almost the cost of your PC your PC must suck.

Have fun consistently sealing those non-memory foam earpads on now currently, a loose headphone

>I'd baby them and wrap them up in a loving way if I were you.
no I honestly will probably toss them or want to give them away. I don't have a use for them and actively dislike listening to them

Ok man np

The more I think about the HD 600, the more I think about how much corners Sennheiser has cut, you feel me user?

Just used earbuds from Walmart since now.

Just fully upgraded my PC (retired from NEETDOM) and want something good. Thinking about buying this too amazon.com/Sennheiser-1000-Gaming-Audio-Amplifier/dp/B01LDTP484.

I agree with you though, great for the price. will probably recommend them to people

hurry up and buy these before someone else does

t. mrhett1224

no you stupid fuck. they are $250-300 used these days and rare

I like being able to hear if anyone's calling me etc and your ears don't get how, the drivers are little beauties. Guess it's like food or something, subjective.
You might have a few superior more comfy things to use so yeah it;s understandable if you aren't impressed or whatever. But as you say, you appreciate the price to performance aspect of them

>gaming amplifier

the ma900 and hd800 do everything way better in terms of comfort and sound. consider buying

I don't need a full blown amp. This one is cheaper and it will cover my need for good audio as a gamer.

I don't know mrhett1224, I've got headphones on the way already.
Very Interesting model though, I'll look into them.

It's junk. Buy it if you want, I don't care.

just kys already and leave. you are in the wrong place. stroke off your gamer headset buddies

I have never been able to fap with any porn or hentai that shows a dick.

am I gay?

Speaking of Koss headphones, I decided to test their lifetime warranty on some old ass pair I had laying around with the right cup dead.

Shit's discontinued now so hopefully they send some new model replacement (in case you didn't notice I didn't exactly like the original much)

koss is a weird af company.

I want you to do that to me user.

Im surprised they are still kicking after one of their employees embezzled like 30million out of them and they haven't been able to get it back.

post your setup

>am I gay?
that depends, do you own an hd600?

No, I'm just lurking here to get some recommendations without posting but after seeing the pic I just had to comment something.

Guess going to fall for your trap mr. ebay seller, hope you aren't selling me some broken shit or you gonna pay.

if you own hd600 then you aren't gay otherwise you are

Ah, but that isn't for you to decide, user

>Guess going to fall for your trap mr. ebay seller
dunno. it's not mine. ma900 is great though you'll be more than happy. might need to swap the pads with some chink ones though if they are worn down
