into the trash lad

I listen to so much variety that some of it is bound to be shite

Good, but not as good as his other mixtapes.

Too bad this is a black people God fearing Jesus Jesus god god album

white people only liked chance because

A. the internet told them to and
B. the indie movement at the time had appeal

you see, chance has always been black people music. this album is proof that alienating a white audience is a step all great rappers have to take

It's alright, took out All We Got, Mixtape and Smoke Break, and put Grown Ass Kid in Mixtape's place, made it way better

That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. He's our chi-town boy! So many shit rappers in the drill scene. Here is chance spreading a message of peace and love amidst a gang-ridden southside. Please kill yourself for your opinions shitlord.

i'm from chicago you fucking donkey

hating gangs does not equal hating black people

how fucking dumb are you

It's like you don't get people liked chance before the internet liked him. Kek. The indie movement had appeal? First off that doesn't actually mean anything. Second off there really isn't an indie rap scene because everyone and their brothers has a mixtape. For a tape like 10Day to stand out so well is pretty impressive desu. I like Chance. Not my favorite but he's solid. His lyrics are nostalgia bombs for millennials. Your opinion was just stupid enough for me to feel like commenting. Suck a dick, nigga.

>Wahh I don't like Chance because he doesn't rap about being hard and trapping. I live in a gated community and wish I could get a sip of lean so I would know what Future was singing about but instead I'll just break into my mom's medicine cabinet and take a few tylenol lol Chance is gay I love Future dirty sprite 4 life

Hating black people? When did I mention that, retard? I can't believe showed you were this dumb while rhetorically asking how dumb I am.

you're so stupid you don't even understand that i'm defending him

I don;t love it as much as Acid Rap but it's still a well done tape there's no denying that.

wow the projection

i'm not saying you hate black people, you white guilt fuck, overcompensating for your veiled racism

i'm saying that chance has been speaking to a black audience this whole time. he doesn't make music for whites. whites only liked him for the reasons i listed

chance is showing his true colors on this album. he's a black artist making black music for black people, and he always has been.

i don't even know how you could disagree, retard

lol this album fucking sucks you guys are kidding about liking it right

i wouldn't call him a white audience rapper. A lot of black and Hispanic people i know (most people i know) love chance.

1. As much as your cuck brain thinks it knows everything, it doesn't. YOU LITERALLY CAN'T KNOW WHO CHANCE MAKES MUSIC FOR. I doubt you've asked him. He doesn't make music for whites? THE SOCIAL EXPERIMENT?? HEARD OF IT RETARD?? No, didn't think so, because nobody could be dumb enough to think Chance didn't make music for everyone after that.

2. Plz die.

Gonna need a bigger bate mate.

I am from Chicago (and black) and lots of black people like Chance

Although he isn't a nigger rapper so white people pretend blacks don't like him

Here's an idea faggots, instead of spewing random shit about how white people like this album, we say "our" opinions on the album, not the audience

I'll start, 3 listens in, it hadn't clicked on me yet like Acid Rap did on the first listen, it seems unconnected and jarring, I'm loving the Bieber feature though, nohomo

If you have to question calling him a white audience rapper, then say hispanics and blacks like him, I think it's safe to say he has diverse demographics.

literally if you had to sum up chance's goal in his music, wouldn't it be making a difference in his community?

his black community?

his black, religious community?

Isn't it great how much chicagoans love chance? Saw the promos at bus stops and got giddy. So glad he isn't BDK or anything lmao.

If you think of his community as the block her grew up on, yeah mostly black. If you think of his community the way he does (the whole city) then no it's pretty diverse.

Let go of the black thing you little bitch. Your argument is shit. You're obviously not from Chicago if you legitimately believe what you're saying.

why would you be dumb enough to think he ONLY makes music for his community though lmao

Yeah glad people like him instead of some of these other rats coming out

not bate. there isnt a single good song

Glad he is a White Sox ambassador too

So glad none of his songs start with "YOUNG CHOP ON THE BEAT"

Man Finish Line/ Drown is such a banger.

Good Video

You know Chris Sale listens to Acidrap pregame

That's pretty cool

i legitimately believe as a north sider that him referencing rahm emmanuel, his view on police, his sadness that nobody cares about violence in his neighborhood indicate that yes, he wants his city to be united. and it isn't. and that's a racial problem.

Fuck yeah brehs

They're lighting up the yankees something fierce right now, it's great

why does he release his stuff as mixtapes?

>black people music

This is now a White Sox appreciation thread.

I personally really like Chance as a person. I like his positive upbeat attitude, I actually like the timbre of his voice and how goofy and fun he is with it too. But I just didn't like any of the songs here. Not a single one. A half-dozen ok moments, but honestly I doubt I'll ever listen to it again. Just so boring and none of the music appealed to me from the lyrics to the production to the arrangements. Sounded a bit like muzac to me, desu.

Free = more listeners

I know it's early in the season but there's a legit shot at a Sox/Cubs world series and that both excites and frightens me.

I fucking Love Eric Andre it's so fucking dumb but I fucking love it

I've thought about this in detail. If that happens you can guarantee I won't be anywhere near the city. I'm not trying to die this year.

>Kendrick drops a fire EP of throwaway
>Chance drops a free mixtape that's still better than most albums

Drake btfo.

dl ?

got soulseek?

>It's too many young angels on the southside
>Got us scared to let our grandmommas outside

AOTY 2016

Its in the archives desu

fuck the cubs and the white sox. cubbies still cursed and the sox will choke

literally kill yourself

The more I listen to this, the more I realize that Kanye copied this with Pablo.

>BLAME CHANCE
>BLAME CHANCE
>BLAME CHANCE
>BLAME CHANCE

you first :^)

In what way exactly?

>Calling his album a gospel album after collaborating with Chance, probably because he heard this and wanted to do something similar, but this is more the gospel album than Pablo

Acid Rap>Coloring Book>10 Day

pretty good, but not even my favorite album released today tbqh

>Chance drops a fire verse on Kanyes opening track
>Kanye drops some shitty autotune for chances intro

Disrespecting at this level shouldnt be allowed

it's on datpiff you lazy nigga

cubs are gonna win it this year desu

This. Not even a Cubs fan, but if they really do keep it up, they got it for sure.

Fuck you and all you cunts who say this shit. I don't give a fuck about the "GUESS THE DEMOGRAPHIC!" game. You wanna know about a step that every great rapper has to take? Making great rap music.

my thoughts exactly

it opened with a very kanye TLOP esq song which made me excited to hear what it had to offer, most of the gospel beats/influenced songs i loved (minus the one thats actually a church choir). The autotune stuff was interesting, i like the idea that chance is moving in a different direction and doing new stuff although i didn't love, it wasnt bad. The 2-3 ballady slow jams were pretty nice especially the one that sounded like a beyonce song.

final whatever and angels and blessings were what i was really hoping and expecting the album to be and honestly what i wish it was but i only listened once so far and like you said it did not have the impact acid rap had on me

true, one correction

>Chance drops BEST verse on the record on Kanye's opening track

since everyone responding to you is either a nigger or a faggot
www116.zippyshare.com/v/xBRV9gwN/file.html

>tfw raised in baptist coach

damn you guys really missed out musically.

agreed
this album was fucking terrible and its even fucking worse that its a part of discography for the rest of his music career.

angels was really nice tho, and blessings had sick instrumentals
HE TOOK OUT GROWN ASS KID WHICH COULD HAVE EASILY REPLACED ANY FUCKING TRACK ON THAT ALBUM LOL
