New album "Any Gracious Heart" is OUT NOW - Thanks a ton for listening and downloading everybody, means a ton.
Great music:
I'm the poster right above you, and damn this is nice. Really love the album art too. Let me know if you're ever in VA
You guys are awesome. It's so cool that there's small artists that make such awesome music that is born out of hobby, dedication, and stress relief, etc and it's legitimately good music (not that popular music isn't good either).

>It's so cool that there's small artists that make such awesome music that is born out of hobby, dedication, and stress relief
I appreciate that, thanks for listening.
If I didn't have music I'd probably be severely depressed. I find solace in the writings of certain philosophers like Kant, Mill, and Nietzsche, (and novelists and films too) that help me deal with the shitty aspects of life (for which there are many), but I don't think I could make it without a legitimate outlet honestly.
If I can ever make good enough money to live off of music, I would, but if not I'm going into TV most likely and continuing to do music and other art on the side.
-Brett (Larksburg)
I totally understand severe depression. I almost ended it about a year and a half ago, but I didn't. I wish I read more, though. How are you going to get into TV? I don't usually hear that, it sounds interesting.
I'm thinking about working at Cartoon Network/[adult swim] after college somehow, as like, either a promotions person or program director or something. Not positive. I'm a communications major, and as far as entertainment TV networks go, it's the only one I'm really interested in.
It (more specifically adult swim) has a history of taking major risks with shows that on the surface are terrible and unsellable, but they some how made them work, and that's pretty impressive. Take Aqua Teen Hunger Force for example, even to their main audience, which is essentially male college students, that show is fucking bizarre and stupid, but they managed to keep it on air for years.
I just don't have the kind of respect for other entertainment networks like I do for them.

by the way, i posted a one minute clip of my new EP on soundcloud, since i haven't made anything new in about a month

you can now rate my music on RYM!
I'm Cannibal Johnson I saw the comment and gave him a listen and i like his stuff, his raps have a real "Food for Animals" (Great rap group check em out) Quality to them.
As for the beats the diveristy on them is nice, a lot of them have a sort of crunchy noise sound while he also uses a bunch of guitar (samples?) sounds and i think i heard some 8 bit in there too.
Overall i like his music, his beats change up a lot track to track which keeps me guessing and i really dig the samples he uses and the concepts he's working with. I'd give a number rating but those are for faggots, it's good music.
sick stuff dude
Love seeing reviews like this, you made my day

I do really like this song.
This is pretty good. The vocals are a little whiny and I think were all pretty much over that. Guys need to start singing with more gumption and confidence. Manly needs to come back. Good songs and arrangement.
