If you can load localhost:10000 , even if it says 'invalid request', you are allegedly vulnerable. Set net.discoverable to false under Advanced and disable WebUI, and restart your client.
>THE BLACKLIST Allowing 2.x: HDB, BTN, PTP, AHD, GGn, JPS, BakaBT Barring old versions: RED, AB, OT
>Not sure what private trackers are all about? The mission of /ptg/ is to promote the highest possible standards of tracker service by providing members with opportunities for professional development, by recognizing technical competence through examinations and by advancing the interests of its members.
Remember the following: >Staff occasionally read these generals and have posted here before. >This is a thread for educational purposes only. Don't offer or ask for invites. >Staff may pretend to be normal users asking for invites and when you invite them, they ban you for inviting strangers.
Yes. They're too stubborn to back down and admit they're in the wrong.
Tyler Stewart
Is anyone surprised that a pack of weebs freaked out over nothing and completely overreacted?
John Nelson
why is YellowJelly trying to ruin everything on RED?
Justin Walker
why just RED? he ruins everything everywhere.
Jacob Jackson
What's the best tracker since what? I'm on apl but it sucks. pth any better? Any others?

You can't force me to care about uTorrent but the war over it is entertaining
Asher Diaz
Even if you think the staff of AB are in the wrong, uTorrent is a terrible, closed-source client that basically everyone agrees should not be used. There are better and have been better options for a while now: qBitMeme, Deluge, Transmission, whatever. No, they're not a 1:1 copy of your precious uTorrent, but they don't have to. It's a good thing that trackers are finally using something as an excuse to get rid of its filth.
Samuel Foster
b is garbage
YellowJelly? Is that you?
Lucas Adams
That's some HIGH grade autism in the AB thread. Sweet jesus.
Aaron Bennett
Even if utorrent 2.2.1 is not vulnerable with the fix (probably is), it'll be blacklisted everywhere. You cannot know whether an user actually applied the fix or he is exposing everyone in the tracker
Lincoln Hughes
Literally the only Windows client to handle thousand of seeds so well while having the most features. Transmission and qBittorent both have less going for them.
Thomas Miller
are they as cringey as his posts on /r/trackers?
Lincoln Williams
>You cannot know whether an user actually applied the fix or he is exposing everyone in the tracker You can actually. All you would have to do is post a pic showing you actually did it to the staff and they would whitelist you. Maybe only make it so the higher classes can do that only to make sure it is not just some schmuck.
Alexander Lopez
Add BIB to the blacklist in the next OP

Jaxson Powell
both those clients have no problem handling over 20000 torrents. in the case of qbittorrent all in the same instance. but please tell me again how utorrent is the only one that can.
Ian White
How likely is it to get a virus, malware or otherwise infected content on private trackers?
Henry Stewart
Are those as cringy as the ones on AB?
Jack Ortiz
are there any trackers other than BTN that do not require uploading torrents to rank up?
Zachary Phillips
nothing could be more cringey than anything that nutter posts on /r/trackers
Ryder Hughes
MTV
Henry Evans
AB one is much worse.
Joshua Foster
Not likely. And when it does happen there is an announcement like on GGn that one time.
That’s not how it works. 2.2.1 cannot pull off the serious exploit(s).
Lucas Flores
That’s not what I said. No problem is an exaggeration though, as both have weaker peering with no advanced options to offset it. qBit gets very mixed results on how well it can do 20,000, and fucks that up too in certain releases.
Ethan Lopez
Red recruiter... hello... pls respond
Christian Rivera
fuck off we're full!
Nolan Peterson
Ask zed directly. He's on Deviant Art just like you.
Oliver Campbell
>uTorrent is a terrible, closed-source client that basically everyone agrees should not be used Ok but they whitelisted Tixati after that...
Bentley Adams
probably because tixati is good

So let me get this straight. AB was the first to respond to this and they banned utorrent entirely. All other trackers only banned the latest versions and 2.2.1 is still fine to run there. Who exactly is right here?
Tyler Young
Posts about them magically disappear.
Jonathan Anderson
no one
Zachary White

This is actually the first time I’ve ever seen APL handle something more wisely than RED.
Nathaniel Wilson
anime is always a testing ground: xvid, x264, 10bit, HEVC, banning utorrent. Test them out on the weebs first before moving onto demographics that actually matter.
Brody Peterson
Second time. They did their name change better than the PTH switch debacle. 2 out of 1000
Mason Turner
FUCK ME, not only it's hilarious, but talented too. Btw, good picks and comments man, now I'm interested what albums (besides Drizzy) coould you recommend for real.
Tyler Bell
Would anyone of you know where I can get a book called Binti?
Easton Watson
overdrive, amazon, bib, mobilism. probably even mam
Nolan Cox
>amazon thanks!
Sebastian Mitchell
Much as I don’t care for their name either, you make a good point. Except don’t you remember they ran a fake poll for the new name and didn’t do anything from it?
Nicholas Robinson
You don't even need to use the fix. uT 2.2.1 is still unvulnerable.
Andrew Morris
>utards fanboys
Carson Cook
make her arbiter and you will have the three of them making out
Alexander King
objectively, how good is transmission-daemon at seeding/peering? it doesn't seem to have a lot of settings related to actual connectivity other than dht on/off, pex on/off, lpd on/off, utp on/off and connections-per-torrent limits does it just werk?
Gavin Collins
Has anyone gotten any upload on qbittorent since switching from 2.2.1?
Jeremiah Collins
RIP RED 2016-2018
Noah Murphy
you guys forgot about rukia already?
Charles Reyes
AB is a dummy tracker. You can just throw all kinds of stupid changes at it and see how the tracker reacts because nobody cares if the tracker dies.
Justin Cook
It’s terrible. I wonder when just werks fags will notice.
It’s been a good run.
Adam Miller
>using uTorrent 2.2.1 5 GB per day at RED >using qBittorrent 4.0.4 1 KB per day at RED
Jack Bell
>using qBittorrent 4.0.4 I have heard that getting one of the older 3x versions is the better choice as it does not have as many problems as the newer ones do. Can anyone confirm?
Luke Howard
why arent the porn trackers doing anything about utorrent???
Leo Jackson
They are busy bracing themselves for april in the UK where all porn will be banned.
Oliver Clark
both are equally shit and downgrading from 4 to 3 brings a lot of new issues not originally present at 3

Brandon Collins
Ok, I have to ask: do you all really run torrent clients on your own machines? Who cares about uTorrent or qbittorrent or tixitaxi whatsitcalled when you can just run rtorrent on a vps?
Asher Wilson
He’s correct about one thing, which is 404 (hahaha get it) using a worse libtorrent. But even since 3 people questioned how they managed to downtune speeds as badly as they had.
Isaiah Butler
rtorrent sucks ass, there are better options for seeding from a vps
Cooper Rogers
>the only alternative is python BLOAT HAHAHA!!!!!!!
