How big do you like your indents?
How big do you like your indents?
2 spaces
4 spaces usually, though 2 is acceptable
2 spaces for JavaScript, HTML, XML
4 spaces for C, C++, Java
8 spaces. Linus demands it.
4 spaces, a tab press
Space - tab - space - tab
3 spaces.

What cave did you neanderthals crawl out from
When indenting if, for, foreach, while, etc. I indent to line up with the parenthesis, and with classes and methods I indent up to the name of the class or method.
>babby cant case
>python

It's tab
but as spaces
muh columns
2 spaces in C and derivatives (eg Java)
4 in python because it uses whitespace syntax

{
int x = 69;

>Ignores every single convention
Literal retard
What the fuck. I don't even know that much PHP, but I know that you could save all of that indentation and organize the code better with a switch statement.
i indent 84 columns
>muh conventions!!1!
Literal drooling retard
ok geniuses, how else should OP image have been written? I mean no matter how fancy you program that logic, it's going to be more or less the same assembly instructions
PHP is not compiled, brainlet
you invert the ifs and return early
how to spot NEETs that have never coded on a team
4 character wide tabs.
beat me to it
no. switch statements are cancer and should be forgotten.
a) leave it how it is
b) use the same code but break it up into methods
c)do whatever your languages promotes for lookup table functionality
despite being in practically every introductory text, you should never use switches they are hideous syntactic sugar.
No spaces
No newlines
No highlighting
One line only
Final Destination
increasing prime number increments
This. Anything else is just genuine ignorance of the most basic concepts of code formatting.
int main{
while(op == gay)
printf(" setting the tabstop to 2 spaces is best ");
}
If you use any language other than Malbolge you are not a real programmer
I use tab for spaces in HTML and Java and PHP, might consider 2 spaces....
8 spaces is the only correct answer
t. brainlet
dont know much about php but in other languages i would define each of the contents of each of the if statements as its own bool function and make an array of pointers to the functions and just loop thru the pointer array
This, and too many indents means you need to program better.
>coded
Oh the irony.
One space.
Indent you fucker
Fags, tab masterrace.
