Geddy's Rickenbacker tone was way sweeter than his Jazz tone.

I like Rush

fo sho

fav album?

All of them

True. I've really been getting into hyf recently, although i used to hate it.

Baited, Rush is shit.

The drummer is shit

The drummer is very mechanical and stiff?

Farewell to Kings and Hemispheres are best albums.

Natural science vs witch hunt
GO

I think Natural Science is the better song, but I prefer Witch Hunt.

la villa strangiato is goat prog

Oh man, you sure got him, I bet he didn't even see it coming!

Rush is dead now. Where do they go from here now? Maybe an acoustic album. But I'd like to see Rush make a post rock album.

proto dream theater

That's true I went from Rush to Dream Theater. But Dream Theater lost me ever since Black Clouds and Silver Lining. Both important bands for me. Now I wanna listen to some good old Dream Theater.

i saw Exit Stage Left at a flea market today but it was just out of my budget
shit made me very unhappy

his wal bass was even better

Goat live

This was my first Rush album. I was picking up the bass and I liked Geddy's tone.4 It introduces you to the more straightforward style of Rush. Then after that I got into Moving Pictures and then the 70's era.

I thought 2112 was kind of neat.

Hemispheres is their most consistent album, but the title track is fucking laborious and repeats forever. The guitar solos and particularly arpeggios in Trees and La Villa Strantiago are incredible. They make me feel so bittersweet and nostalgic.

Check this out, apparently its pretty rare

Back in the 70's Rush was considered a Metal band

Natural Science is dank shit yo

All three are great desu

This is such an underrated song

2112 is my favorite though i consider Moving pictures a better album.

Do you think Alex is resentful towards Geddy/Neil for taking over his band?

More than any other band, I think Rush's fans are the most unanimously autistic. I've never seen someone in a Rush shirt and didn't cringe

I can confirm. I have autism and I used to listen to only Rush.

>they're only fans if they wear their shirts

yeah, i was really happy about that too

I liked that album a lot after the remix. It really sounded like they threw shit at the wall to see what stuck. They took a lot of risks and I think they pulled off a great record.

And Jacob's Ladder, The Camera Eye, Between The Wheels, and Hemispheres Prelude! Not to mention snipits of Anthem and What You're Doing. They went all out

tfw got to see xanadu live before they stopped touring

Great song, but it immediately turned my acid trip bad

lmao

nice b8

You can't honestly say that anything after Signals was even remotely worthwhile.

Witch Hunt

I liked Test for Echo even Snakes and Arrows and Roll the Bones but everytime I listened to Clockwork Angels I feel like it's too loud and none of the songs are catchy.

What is Wojak feeling there?

Am I a pleb for loving Counterparts, Snakes & Arrows and Clockwork Angels?

The most pleb Rush album is Moving Pictures
