He really should concentrate on putting out one quality an album a year instead of shitting out one a month. Some of his stuff is really good but there is a lot of filler in between.
Easton Parker
me me me
also glenn astro, wayne snow on tartelet records and the entire 22a records crew
Andrew Barnes
My Groove Your Move is definitely his best although none of his albums are bad.
the /bloop/ community, more like the /poop/ community hehe
nah jk, would be nice if /bloop/ could be a regular thing.
Jose Brooks
>14 posters
Never gonna happen I doubt.
Justin Perry
I wonder why is it that way
Jaxson Stewart
make it 15 is my man james bloop
Aaron Howard
The majority of the music posted about on the board is either all time top selling / most revered artists from Billboard and Pitchfork to Rolling Stones and RYM or the Flavour of the month releases by p4k and Fantano. Nothing in these threads are high on any of those.
The majority of the board get their music from the essentials and ''reviewers'', Sup Forums recs or Album Of The Year.
John Gutierrez
I'd say so, more so than /bleep/
Jacob Rivera
There are some pretty nice generals like /classical/, /dark/, /noise/, /jazz/, /trad/ and /bleep/. I can see most of the posters in those threads appreciating /bloop/ music. Maybe we just need to give it some time.
Joshua Watson
The thing with most generals is the posters in them stay put because they've found sanctuary from the general crap.
Bentley Peterson
The generals are the best part of Sup Forums. 90% of the other threads are either for shitposting, posting album covers or posting last.fm and RYM profiles or some shitty charts and there is not even a little bit of discussion going on there.
Caleb Kelly
/bleep/ lads unironically shitpost these threads most of the time m8 it's not even bantz
Adrian Fisher
his first EPs were very bleep though
best new general btw
Levi Campbell
Totally agree, the problem is though apart from , everyone stays in the generals so unless you are a regular /bloop/ poster, you'd have no idea these exist.
Charles Phillips
>new faam
Landon Jones
I think Blake works in both desu, he has that dance music but there is plenty of laid back vocals that would work at home / the beach etc
Bentley Sanders
bloop is new faggit
Cooper Davis
It's not that new. It has been around for some time already.
Also, what are your favorite /bloop/-orientated labels?
Jonathan Lopez
>tfw Quantic will never make a song as good as Time Is The Enemy ever again
Joshua Carter
Well here's to hoping /bloop/ won't die the deaths other attempts at having a /bloop/ thread did.
There have been attempts at having a /bloop/ threads before but they usually died because of being flooded by /bleep/ shitposters, turny trying tot turn it into his own personal circlejerk, discussions about what should and should not be allowed to post, or just lack of interest.
Aaron Wilson
Do you guys have any /bloop/ charts except pic related?
Wyatt Cooper
>turny trying tot turn it into his own personal circlejerk
I didn't know posting music I like in a thread which covered music I like was an attempt at anything other than posting music I like and discussing it with others who like what I like.
Sebastian Brown
What a comfy thread.
Chase Nelson
I saw some guy post a 5x5 and it seems pretty cash to me
should I bother with Oval's stuff post-2000, I heard he fell off quite a bit pleasant digits they're all great but they've been discussed tons m80, and /ae/ is up right now. boc could always use some love though. also I agree on Clark, Body Riddle is fantastic
Can we have this thread with good music more often? Because I wonder sometimes why I keep visiting this board full of angsty Sup Forumstard teen-rock lovers.
Oliver Roberts
We can.
Brayden Jenkins
literally best bloop of your life
I really like Dafeldecker/Kurzmann/Fennesz/O'Rourke/Drumm/Siewert as well if you want something tryhard
anyone who also enjoyed dj nj drones latest album, syn stair?
also, can someone who's been reading their stuff for a while tell me: have the people writing at tinymixtapes always been autistic children who can throw a ton of references?
Jason Bailey
Pretty much, yes. But at least you can find some new and interesting music there, especially in the EUREKA section.
Isaac Gutierrez
sure, i look through the reviews to find new stuff, it's just the writing itself is ridiculous
do you know of any other magazine that covers the same spectrum of experimental, mostly electronic music? (don't really care whether they review other stuff also like tmt) tmt is still the magazine that i've found covers the most of the artists that i like
Hunter Richardson
I sure as fuck hope not, that's awful more like 5D and Whitewater please
