Thoughts?
Can I just say that this album doesn't get the credit it deserves? Incredible album. Love it
first physical cd album that I bought from HMV way back when it first came out. I had enough money to either pick this or some other shitty pop rock album, I'm so glad I picked this.
Fight Test and Yoshimi Pt. 1 are my favorite tracks. Do you realize is good too.
>The Soft Bulletin
100
>Yoshimi
90
That's why. It gets overshadowed (understandably so).
this wass my first full album. its amazing.
This. Although I'd put Embryonic ahead of both.
First track rips off Cat Stevens - Father and Son
Soft Bulletin puts me (and many others) to sleep. Yoshimi is much better.
Reminder that if you're listening to SB in any way other than the original LP tracklist, you're doing it wrong.
The truly underrated Flaming Lipps album
The first track is the best, so the album just falls off after wards
yoshimi>SB
but ya I will give you they ripped off cat Stevens.
its ok
People blame it for being too simple in spite of the lyrics being clearly being written from a child-like angle.
Clouds Taste Metallic is better
ITT everyone showing how cool they are by liking older, more boring flaming lips albums
I use this
(It's my favorite album btw)
this is literally the most underrated rock album of all time.
How it is not a household-name 90's album and nevermind is continues to astound me
Which remixes/duplicates should I cut?
Lol
Dunno if I agree. It's one of the most celebrated albums are in the lips discog and the only one that normies care about.
sure... as far as the flaming lips. but I guess I'm saying the flaming lips in general and this is their best imo. soft bulletin and the terror also very very excellent. I just don't think the flaming lips get the credit they deserve.
is that something that can literally be measured?
THIS HERE GIRAFFE
THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOPE TO RELEASE SOMETHING NEW WITH MILEY SOON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PUNK ROCK!!!!!!!!! YESSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!
Could had worked flawlessly as a concept album, although Wayne always refused the idea. It's a great album, but lacked enough concept to tie the whole thing up.
Also, like said, it came after SB. This fact alone speaks volumes.
god I hope this is troll
soft bulletin is some hot trash that people only like because it was overhyped by critics. yoshimi is pretty good but only in a juvenile sort of way
this.
please please me came before sgt peppers... doesn't mean shit.
please please me sounds nothing like sgt. p. yoshimi is an extension of sb, it's more like beatles mmt
