Band only releases physical as vinyl
Purchasing CDs are pointless when you can download the album and make your own just as easily
Well, CDs are worthless, Tape is kinda niche, and Vinyl has been very popular for years now, so why not?
That's just stupid and pointless
illegal downloads are wrong.
vinyl with dl code, cds you can rip, cassette with dl code, or digital release or BUST
I fucking hate it. Vinyl is expensive where I live and it's especially going to be from a small record label like that one

>band releases one goat ep
>follows it up with mediocre album then splits up

>band only releases physical as floppy disks
This is fine, I generally only occasionally buy vinyl and if its the only option I'll gladly drop some cash for them

there is literally no reason for bands to ever sell CDs. they're fucking exoensive and nobody who actually goes to shows buys them.
no touring musician gives a fuck about piracy and if they do they're a fucking retard
>source: touring musician
I have a feeling they shill here heavily.
I know their executive and he would never do such a thing.
nah they just have a good fan base
I always buy cds at shows, and now that vinyl is the hot thing cds are cheap as fuck at shows
>band releases vinyl at all in the 21st century
I once thought the same but we constantly sell cds at shows, cheapest physical format there is
>being in band at all in the 21st century
If some idiot will buy the same album for $15+ more than the cd I'd be pushing vinyls like a madman
>"dude check this cool color-splattered vinyl I copped, shit's so cash"
Yeah this.
>Band offers new songs on cassette, only available on one particular national tour
>nobody rips it and it's on discogs for $200
YOU TAKE THAT BACK!!!!!
>one day gets uploaded to what.cd
>reported and deleted for suspected transcode before anybody snatches it
>uploader permanently banned for ratio watch
