John cale

Can we talk about how GOAT this man is.

Probably the biggest influence on the sound of the first two VU albums, more than Reed.

Whip/Nae Nae

best member of TVU and Fear is one of my faves

like the least cool of the tony conrad, la monte young, henry flynt, or any of those 60s ny loft scene people.

underrated

Lou reed > Cale

young > flynt > conrad> riley > ono > reich > cale > glass >reed

>ono
>so high
>up there at all
b8: the b8

>people still believe in the "Yoko Ono is bad" meme
I bet you haven't listened to any of her non-John Lennon albums even

>"Avant grade"

>implying I listened to John Lennon albums
>ever

Plastic Ono Band is a good album

>ft. John Cale
>oh look, a droning viola

one trick pony, good music & good guy tho

>shit taste & irrelevant opinion: the post

her "music" doesnt compare to young, flynt, riley, conrad or even reich or cale but shes one of the more interesting of them all in how multifaceted she was. tony conrad wasnt all that great a composer or musician imo but his music work is made more interesting from the context his film, performance, concept, and installation art was.

The Velvet Underground and Loaded are wonderful albums but White Light/White Heat is TVU's masterpiece.
