what were they thinking?

Squeeze

It's not that bad. It just sounds like shitty C86/The Cure worship. Also the vocalist just was not right for that kind of music.

What does this album sound like?

I like this album.

Wish MBV would've done goth more.

Loveless

Obvious one is Pablo honey
Pet sounds stands out from the rest of the beach boys' discography, but in a positive way

indie cindy - pixies

wow, actually getting mad just even posting this dogshit.

it's brian wilson solo album pretty much. the caroline, no single was even released under just his name.

Just no.

agreed

absolute disgrace

Never listened to this because everything about the cover screams 'we don't care any more and we're going to be brazen about it'

I'm being serious.

the music itself isn't much better than the cover

the album cover is almost as repulsive as the album

Why? The only Radiohead album I would exclude are Pablo Honey and maybeee HTTT.

It's not even THAT bad, it's actually decent...

Yeah, no. It's a pretty clear progression from their last two albums, it slots right in. Now Pablo Honey? I wouldn't erase it but I do think it should've been released under the On A Friday moniker.

HTTT is fine as a follow up to Amnesiac as well.

The goth-tinged shoegaze before it is great. The electronic rock stuff after it is great. This album just exists in a limbo that did not ever need to be. Doesn't even serve as a transitional record.

Big Star's In Space for me. I used to hate Pablo Honey but that's because I never really listened to it, some great tracks there like Blow Out and You

Obvious answer

Forever and Again is a jam though
